Your internship role within Concordis will be shaped by what is happening on Concordis programmes during the six months you spend with the organisation and by your interests, experience and abilities. As a team, we rely on each member to contribute their skills to our work and we will look to make the most of what you have to offer, while at the same time giving you opportunities to develop new skills and to challenge yourself.
You may be asked to carry out research and analysis into countries in which we are active, guided by our research managers and following our research methodology. Your role may include assisting with the development of project proposals, monitoring international news outlets and researching potential new project areas. You will be asked to research sources of funding and may be involved in drafting applications for funding, including generating ideas for new programmes that meet the needs of communities and donors.
You may be required to attend external meetings, seminars and conferences and to contribute to website and social media content. You will be given opportunities and time to attend virtual training on peacebuilding and related topics. You will be asked to be part of the Security Monitoring rota whereby we take turns to track the movements of the in-field staff. This does include occasional essential weekend working.
You may also be asked to assist with HR processes such as evaluating applicant CVs and be given the opportunity to attend interviews as an observer/interviewer.
The internships are designed to give you concrete experience in research, programme management and funding within the international development sector.

Large brands and agencies dominate the sports sponsorship marketplace. As a result, many athletes, including female, disabled, and LGBTQ+ athletes from various ethnicities or lower socioeconomic backgrounds, are often left without sponsors and access to what they need to reach their potential.
In addition, many sponsors need help finding and developing a genuine connection with an athlete, which leads to issues connecting with their audiences. There is no way to search for sponsors or athletes directly without involving costly agencies. Transparency and self-management are crucial in democratising the marketplace. We have built an innovative self-managed athlete-sponsorship platform focused on unique connections between sponsors and athletes. Sponsors, athletes, and fans can sign-up. Finance Support Manager
Volunteer Role Description (remote, unpaid)
We are looking for someone with experience to help us implement healthy financial systems and approaches whilst we bootstrap and raise investment funding. Ideally you will have an understanding of financial modelling, revenue models and have a passion for sports or marketplaces. It is an area that has been completely overlooked and a weak point for us, so patience and passion for finance is a must! The role should only take 0-1 hour a week ongoing but after and will require some initial time to understand implement processes.

Director with Fundraising Experience: You will provide strategic direction for the organisation around fundraising, including helping to shape and support our fundraising strategy around diversifying our funds and growing our individual giving. You will support Spectra’s delivery of statutory and grant-funded services, help us in advancing our vision, and provide constructive scrutiny and oversight of the Chief Executive and the work of Spectra’s staff.
Director with Communications, Marketing, and PR Experience: You will provide strategic direction for the organisation around communications, marketing, and PR. You will support our plans to increase our reach and brand, further our communications work and strategy, including social media marketing and campaigning, and enhance our PR opportunities. You will support Spectra’s delivery of statutory and grant-funded services, help us in advancing our vision, and provide constructive scrutiny and oversight of the Chief Executive and the work of Spectra’s staff.
Spectra is based in Vauxhall, South London. It is expected that you will attend five meetings (in the evening, currently online on a Monday evening) and two SMT/Board Away Days each year (currently in person). In addition, it is envisaged that you will contribute your expertise outside of Board meetings on occasion, e.g., to review service or planning reports, to input into a focus group, etc.

Role Summary.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Email Marketing Officer to support the planning and delivery of email campaigns that engage and inspire our audience. You will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and optimising emails to strengthen communication with students, parents, and supporters. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the email marketing efforts of a growing international education platform.
Key tasks

Design, build, and schedule email campaigns using email marketing tools.

Manage audience segmentation and ensure email lists are accurate and up to date.

Collaborate with copywriters and designers to deliver engaging, on-brand email content.

Conduct A/B tests to improve open rates, click-through rates, and overall performance.

Monitor and report on email campaign performance, suggesting improvements.

Ensure all email content complies with data protection and GDPR guidelines.
