Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Without our care, these buildings might have disappeared entirely. Instead, they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.

Overall job purpose

In recent years, CCT has experienced great success in applying to grant funders, including Trust and Foundations, Landfill Communities Fund, and the National Lottery Heritage Fund. 

CCT’s 2025 -30 strategy focuses on delivering conservation projects across our estate and securing income from grant funders will be crucial.  We will also work with local communities to address smaller conservation projects via the Community Initiative Framework.

The Grants Officer will research and identify relevant funding opportunities, build a healthy pipeline, and submit applications for project funding to meet fundraising targets during an exciting period of growth.

There will be requirement for occasional travel for project visits and team meetings.

What you’ll be doing 

The post holder will help advance Ukie’s policy work on aspects of UK and international policy impacting the games and interactive entertainment industry through: 

• Monitoring policy changes and providing in-depth analysis, research, and reports for internal stakeholders. 

• Relationship building and engagement with Ukie members and wider sector stakeholders, including attendance at internal and external stakeholder meetings and coalition industry groups. 

• Support the Senior Policy Manager in research and drafting for Ukie’s external consultation responses, co-ordinating with members and facilitating internal forums for discussions on particular issues. 

• Support in organising events and engagement with policy makers within Whitehall, Westminster, the Devolved Governments and with regional, combined and local authorities as well as with our global partners in the EU, US and further afield.

• Assisting the policy and research teams with major public affairs projects and campaigns according to the Ukie’s internal strategy and drawing on Ukie’s internal data and external partners where appropriate. 

• Supporting and promoting Ukie at external political meetings, including our bi-annual Westminster Games Week. 

• Support in raising the profile of Ukie and its significant policy priorities through external communications in partnership with the Ukie campaigns team, and through public scrutiny such as the use of written parliamentary questions. 

• Acting as the lead point of contact for the APPG on Video Games and Esports to which Ukie acts as the secretariat and taking joint responsibility for liaising with its members. 

• Draft external policy communications such as the Ukie Policy Byte, the bi-weekly political newsletter, with support from Senior Policy Manager and Head of Policy where necessary. 

• Be responsible for the team administration of internal stakeholder meetings, including sending out invites, taking minutes and preparing relevant material as well as maintaining up to date email lists of all stakeholders. 

Relationship Management 

• Develop and maintain relationships with games industry member businesses and a wide range of external bodies; including partner organisations, government officials and other trade bodies. 

• Support the Senior Policy Manager and Head of Policy in the management of Ukie’s internal stakeholder groups – including Ukie’s policy group and its various working sub groups. 

• Maintain stakeholder engagement trackers and act as a point of contact for external engagement with Parliamentarians, regional politicians and their offices. 

• Support the Head of Policy and Chief Executive in any external engagements. 

• Support the policy team and wider Senior Management team with other reasonable tasks as required. 

Qualifications and experience required for this role: Qualified by experience. You don’t need to hold a degree to apply for this role, but experience of working in a policy or government affairs facing role, public affairs agency or regulatory environment would be advantageous. On-the-job training will be provided via Ukie or external providers where appropriate and will be part of a structured development plan.  

  Hours of Work:  

• Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.30pm 

• Expectation that some evening and weekend work may be required to attend or run Ukie events as the business requires.

About the role

The Home Ownership Officer will play a key role in managing the relationship between Hastoe and its leaseholders, shared owners and freeholders. The role ensures compliance with leases, legislation and internal policies, while supporting residents with advice and managing a range of property and legal matters.

The role will also support the Home Ownership Manager in delivering a high-quality service to homeowners, ensuring compliance with leases, legislative requirements, and Hastoe policies.

Duties will include:

• Acting as the main point of contact for leaseholders and shared owners, dealing with queries related to leases, service charges and home ownership policies.
• Managing statutory and voluntary lease extensions, collective enfranchisement applications as well as staircasing, liaising with legal teams and valuers as needed.
• Investigating and resolving breaches of lease conditions, working with internal and external partners to achieve timely resolution.
• Carrying out administration aspects relating to resales, disposals, consultations and Ground Rent.
• Working with our solicitors to prepare cases for legal action including injunctions, money judgments, and forfeiture where necessary, and representing the organization at court or tribunal hearings.
• Liaising with finance teams to answer any service charge queries and to assist with the service charge estimates and actuals.
• Delivering excellent customer service, ensuring all queries are handled effectively and professionally.

About you

You will need to have proven experience in housing management, particularly in dealing with leaseholders and shared ownership leases, including the legal frameworks surrounding them. The role requires you to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high standards.

You will also need:

• Be educated to A-Level standard.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• To be flexible and adaptable to change, with a willingness to learn and develop in the role.

Your Role in Our Vision

Join our Legacy Administration Team and manage a varied and active caseload of specific, residuary, and reversionary bequests. This is a pivotal role, helping to ensure that every gift left to Marie Curie is handled with care, accuracy, and respect — enabling us to continue delivering our essential services.

Legacy income is one of the most significant sources of funding for our charity. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and maximising that income through diligent case management, effective communication with solicitors and executors, and a firm understanding of probate law and best practice. Your work directly contributes to our ability to care for people affected by terminal illness.

Experience across all UK jurisdictions is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of specific, residuary, and reversionary legacies across the UK.
• Ensure Marie Curie receives its full legal entitlement, in line with Wills and settlements.
• Handle correspondence efficiently, updating records on our FirstClass 4 database and meeting internal service standards.
• Act as the lead charity where appropriate and liaise with co-beneficiaries.
• Monitor and progress open cases to ensure timely completion.
• Review estate accounts carefully, ensuring accuracy and appropriate application of tax exemptions.
• Obtain tax deduction certificates where cost-effective to do so.
• Ensure funds are allocated correctly to restricted or unrestricted purposes as specified in Wills.
• Comply with Law Society guidelines regarding Non-Contentious Costs.
• Represent Marie Curie’s interests in shared estates and collaborate with legal professionals and the public.
• Identify and escalate potential risks or disputes that may affect our entitlement.

• Proven experience in legacy administration.
• Experience working in or with the charity sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow the charity’s social media presence through engaging content creation, scheduling, and performance analysis.
• Write and edit compelling content for newsletters, the website, and digital campaigns, including patient and clinician interviews.
• Lead on the production and distribution of regular e-newsletters, collaborating with internal teams to source and shape content.
• Keep the website up to date with accurate, accessible, and engaging content.
• Support awareness and advocacy campaigns, helping to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
• Assist in planning and promoting fundraising and community events, building relationships with supporters and stakeholders.

Person Specification:

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and appropriately for different audiences and platforms.
• Experience in a communications, marketing, or engagement role—ideally within the charity, healthcare, or membership sectors.
• Confident using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite) and basic design platforms such as Canva to create digital content.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in health-related or mission-driven work.

Salary: c.£33,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Support Officer who can demonstrate proficiency and hands-on experience in IT support or a similar role, with a strong track record of resolving technical issues and supporting end users. The post holder will be an excellent problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively across the organisation.  The role will also involve close collaboration with other members of the facilities team to help maintain audio-visual equipment for meeting rooms and support the general maintenance of the building. 

As the role will be responsible for onsite IT support at our Central London office, it will be suited to somebody looking for a position that is predominantly office based. The team works a shift pattern between the hours of 07:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday.

The Fellowship and Administration Officer is the main point of contact for Society Fellows, applicants and general enquiries. They administer and update records in the Society’s database and support the delivery of the Society’s annual programme of in-person, online and hybrid events. They also undertake general office administration.

The Admin Support Officer role:

Coeliac UK is seeking a proactive and organised Admin Support Officer to support the work of the International Society for the Study of Celiac Disease (ISSCD). In this varied role, you’ll coordinate meetings, manage communications, and assist with membership and research admin. Your work will help enable global collaboration in coeliac disease research and care. If you thrive on detail and enjoy supporting multiple stakeholders, we would like to hear from you.

Key responsibilities of the Admin Support Officer:

• Processing new ISSCD Membership applications and update the ISSCD membership database
• Preparing bulk mailings for the ISSCD members’ e-newsletter and other communications, working with the ISSCD’s support agency based in the Netherlands
• Monitoring the ISSCD generic email accounts and respond accordingly
• Arranging ISSCD meetings
• Assisting in the preparation of agendas and papers for ISSCD Board meetings
• Drafting minutes of ISSCD meetings
• Providing admin support to the Head of Funding and Engagement as required
• Providing admin support to the ISSCD committees as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required for the Admin Support Officer:

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused administrator with excellent communication and organisation skills. The ideal candidate will have:

• Educated to GCSE standard Grade C / 5 or above in Maths and English
• Confident speller with good command of the English language
