Job Purpose:

To lead the operational delivery of Women in Prison’s services across Wandsworth, Sutton and Merton, including the management of the Wandsworth Hub and line management of two Advocates. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed support for women affected by the criminal justice system and will also support the development and integration of a new South London-based project focused on women who have had children removed or are at risk of child removal.ma

About the Legacy Manager role:

The Public Fundraising team are responsible for recruiting and stewarding new supporters in order to secure long-term income and growth. The fundraising team has real ambition to grow and develop, and Legacy and  In-memory giving will form a key part of these plans.

You will lead on the development and implementation of a new Legacy & In Memoriam fundraising strategy that will

Can you bring conservation to life, engaging mixed ability groups in playing an active role in encouraging nature and wildlife in an urban area? The Talbot Village Trust has an exciting opportunity for a new post of Conservation Volunteer Co-ordinator to deliver community volunteering schemes in our woodland in Wallisdown.

Following successful volunteering schemes over the last two winters, we’re keen to develop our conservation volunteer scheme, inviting local residents, university students and ad hoc corporate groups to experience practical conservation firsthand, and learn more about the ecology of this space. Led by our woodland management plan and ecology surveys, the work will help measurably enrich the biodiversity of the woodland, sharing conservation techniques and improving understanding of the ecology with our volunteers and the wider public.

This post is held within a small and developing team within the charity, aiming to build closer relationships between our local community, the land we steward and the wildlife living here. The role will be supported by other members of our staff team and our deeply committed trustees.

The successful candidate will work with volunteers of all ages, including supervised secondary school groups, and will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check. To ensure our scheme is accessible, this role will offer volunteering sessions at weekends, as well as during the week.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and supervising volunteer conservation sessions
• Design and deliver a programme of engaging and well managed woodland maintenance volunteering tasks, based on a programme averaging 3 sessions each week, that will bring about meaningful biodiversity changes
• Contribute to establishing and undertake measurements to monitor the impact of the changes that are made, including by conducting wildlife surveys, setting up the recording on national databases where appropriate. These will supplement the professional surveying already in place.
• Ensuring all activities are fully risk assessed, taking into account the needs and abilities of each volunteer, and the daily and changing conditions
• Establish and support cohesive groups of volunteers, bringing together people of different backgrounds to form welcoming social groups, increasing the number and range of people volunteering with us

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:

• Email communications - management and scheduling of all email communications to the organisation's database and external audiences, management of email communication's calendar, management of Email Service Provider (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), maintaining integrity of email contact list, and writing copy, building, segmenting and sending emails.
• Support the Marketing Manager with planning, copywriting and coordination of the marketing of the organisation's campaigns across paid, organic and earned media.
• Take the lead on delivery and evaluation of specific marketing campaigns.
• CRM reporting, including setting up dashboards, creating effective reports and working closely with Product & Technology team to ensure CRM is being used to its full potential.
• Ongoing analysis of email reporting and performance to inform future marketing and communications strategies and plans.
• Ensure all emails are on brand; both look and feel and tone of voice.
• Ensure all email campaigns adhere to GDPR consent and data capture regulations.
• Work with colleagues in national teams (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), and other departments to plan and execute regional email campaigns.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to implement, monitor and develop automated e-communications journeys to enhance both marketing and customer service experiences for the organisation's audiences.
• Manage any printed marketing materials such as leaflets, pull up banners, booklets to ensure they are on brand and produced in an environmentally friendly way.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Experience of managing email campaigns for a variety of audiences, including drafting content, Email Service Provider (ESP) management (ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud), A/B testing and performance analysis.
• A good understanding of email data (open rate, click through rate, click through open rate etc.) and how to analyse it in order to inform on-going activity.
• Experience of using a range of analytics tools to help monitor, optimise and evaluate campaign performance including Google Analytics, CRMs and ESPs.
• Experience of using Customer Relationship Management systems (ideally Salesforce) to segment audiences, create campaigns, target audiences and report on activity.
• Experience of managing marketing and communications campaigns across owned, paid and earned channels.
• Management of campaigns and implementing tracking, undertaking evaluation based on performance of KPIs.
• Experience of copywriting and producing content for a range of channels and audiences.

To be successful as Specialist Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.
