Main Purpose of the Post

To develop and maintain successful partnerships with corporate supporters and corporate foundations whose vision and goals align with Learning through Landscapes’ vision and mission. The role will focus on strategic, long-term, mutually beneficial relationships which help LtL achieve its mission through income generation and added value including staff volunteering, network-building, and probono support. 

Specific Duties

New business development

• Develop and progress a pipeline of new business development to secure corporate partnerships. 

• Develop and present engaging, creative and mutually beneficial proposals and applications for corporate partnerships. 

• Support the Fundraising Lead to identify prospective corporate foundations. 

• Support the Fundraising Lead with writing and submitting applications to corporate foundations. 

• Collaborate with LtL’s Communications team to reach target audiences with compelling messaging.

• Research and attend relevant networking events to open new partnership opportunities. 

Account management 

• Provide excellent account management and stewardship to strengthen partnerships, deepen corporate employee engagement and ensure relationship longevity. 

• Use data from LtL’s new Impact Measurement Framework to provide inspiring reports on what corporate partners have helped LtL to achieve. 

• Work with colleagues to identify and facilitate additional opportunities for corporate engagement, including practical volunteering opportunities and pro-bono work. 

Strategy and reporting

• Support the Management Team with the development of a Corporate Partnerships Strategy, including income targets and key performance indicators.

• Provide regular reports to the Management Team and stakeholders to measure progress towards targets. 

• Keep comprehensive and accurate records of all fundraising activity. 

General responsibilities

• Keep abreast of developments in UK fundraising and how these can benefit the work of LtL. 

• Ensure all fundraising activities comply with regulations and guidance, including being GDPR compliant and following the Code of Fundraising Practice and Charity Commission guidance. 

• Maintain a sound knowledge of LtL strategy, business plan and the case for investment in school grounds. 

• Support organisational goals by contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives. 

What you’ll need:

• Experience of securing and managing corporate partnerships, ideally in the charity, education, or environmental sectors

• Proven ability to develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to corporate audiences

• Strong relationship-building skills, with a track record of developing longterm, mutually beneficial partnerships

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing funding proposals and impact reports

• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how corporate social responsibility aligns with business objectives

• Confidence in networking and representing an organisation at external events

• Experience of planning and delivering partnership activities such as employee volunteering or pro-bono projects

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver high-quality partnership experiences

• Knowledge of GDPR and fundraising regulations, including the Code of Fundraising Practice

Tree Equity Scores bring together multiple datasets, such as deprivation, heat, canopy cover and more, to provide a single figure that illustrates an area's need for urban trees. The Tree Equity for Hartlepool project marks the first town-wide approach in the UK to address low Tree Equity scores across an entire urban area. This multi-partner project, led by Trees for Cities, will work across planting, engagement and awareness raising of the urban forest. 

Working with Hartlepool Borough Council, Trees on Tees Community Forest, The Woodland Trust, Thirteen Group housing association and Treeconomics, this partnership brings together major local landowners alongside national tree specialists to deliver a programme of work over two years - and is seeking a Project Community Coordinator to drive the work forward.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Project Community Coordinator, you will be responsible for bridging this flagship work to the community and connecting residents in Hartlepool with their urban forest. This will include leading engagement activities with residents across the town, aiming to inspire residents to plant, protect and promote urban trees. You will lead outreach and volunteer activities, working closely with project partners to coordinate and deliver tree planting and educational workshops, public tree planting events and other activities.

The role will involve a mix of office-based and outdoor work and requires a confident, well-organised and friendly individual who can both confidently lead workshops and act as a spokesperson for the charity and urban forestry with the local community. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with volunteers, and this will be key to success, ensuring the project gets the results the community needs.

You will work under the steer of the Project Manager and be the face of both the project and Trees for Cities in the local and Tees Valley area.

As Trees for Cities looks ahead to its next strategic period, this project is a key flagship piece of work, and the role will be required to represent the partnership and associated work being done. In delivering a successful project, the case will be made for addressing low Tree Equity scores at the local and national level, influencing decision makers to best support urban forestry. 

This project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The Role

As Senior Fundraising Manager (Major Giving), you will lead the development and implementation of an ambitious new Major Giving strategy to secure and maximise funds from high-net-worth individuals. You will work closely with senior leadership, Trustees, and key stakeholders to craft compelling cases for support, aligning with YMCA’s ambitious new housing strategy and broader organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors, developing tailored engagement strategies to inspire long-term support.
• Plan and execute donor stewardship activities, including bespoke events, face-to-face meetings, and personalised communications.
• Work with senior leadership and Trustees to build strong relationships with philanthropists and high-value supporters.

We're Hiring: Advocates - London Stalking Support Service, Stalking Threat Assessment Centre and National Advocacy

Ebony Horse Club is a Brixton-based charity that works with young people from low-income backgrounds, using horses as a powerful catalyst to build confidence, aspirations, and life skills.

The position is based in Sheppey and applicants must have experience of working with adults in a medical or social care setting, and of providing mental health support. Job Description

Catch22 is looking for a compassionate leader to join our growing Greater Manchester Victim Services as Deputy Head of Service. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the effective delivery of support for victims and witnesses as you help them on their journey to recovery.

Reporting to the Head of Service, you’ll provide line management to team leaders and administrators, implement systems for quality service delivery, and manage recruitment, training and supervision. You’ll work closely with police and other criminal justice partners to maintain strong referral pathways and ensure our services remain seamless and effective in its support for those that have experienced crime in the Greater Manchester area.

You will also contribute to strategic service development, quality assurance, safeguarding, and continuous improvement across the team. Your leadership will drive a culture of collaboration, learning and excellence.

About Us

CAP sets up and supports local partnerships that aim to reduce alcohol harm in children and young people, improve their health and well-being and enhance their communities. Our mission is to create an alcohol-free childhood for all children and young people.

Role Overview

The successful applicant will have a track record of building effective partnerships, the people and communication skills to involve and engage a wide range of local stakeholders and the leadership and project management skills to support projects through each phase of their lifecycle including baseline evaluation, action plan delivery, post intervention evaluation and maintenance/sustainment. After a short familiarisation period the successful applicant will be expected to oversee fast-track development of new CAPs in priority areas and take responsibility for all aspects of their management with minimal supervision.

A key requisite of the role will be the ability to forge effective public/private sector partnerships between statutory agencies, schools, youth charities and retailers following the CAP model and evaluation framework. The successful applicant may come from a police, public health, education, local authority or other relevant background.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively identify opportunities for new CAPs and facilitate set up of new CAPs in priority areas.

· Ensure that all new CAP projects carry out appropriate and timely interventions and evaluate all activity in line with the CAP evaluation toolkit – including a baseline and post intervention evaluation.

· Raise the profile of CAPs in Scotland and ensure that their impact is recognised by key stakeholders.

Specific duties to include the following:

o Represent CAP at all operational meetings.

o Ensure that Retail of Alcohol Standards Group (RASG) member companies play a full delivery role in each CAP where they operate as businesses.

Skills, attributes and experience

• Essential to the role will be the ability to persuade key stakeholders at local and national level of the need to address underage drinking problems and to facilitate effective and dynamic local partnerships involving any/all of the following sectors: local authorities, education, child protection, social services, public health, Alcohol and Drug Partnerships, police, retailers and licensing.
• Excellent organisational and sound project management skills.
• Great people skills with the ability to build consensus and motivate partners to play a role in timely delivery of an agreed action plan.
• Act as an ambassador for CAP at meetings and events including parliamentary events.

Remuneration: Consultancy fee of £320 per day depending on experience. Work will depend on ability to generate interest in setting up new CAPs but we anticipate as a guideline engaging a minimum of 2.5 days of consultancy per week or around 100 days per annum. Role description

As our philanthropy coordinator, you will play a key role in building new partnerships with philanthropists and high-net-worth individuals, with an immediate focus on the UK, US, and Europe. You will design and implement a comprehensive strategy to build a robust portfolio of individual donors, Family Foundations, Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) and other personal giving vehicles. 

A proactive and thoughtful relationship builder, you will maintain long-term relationships and lead bold strategies to engage new audiences, including millennial and next-generation philanthropists. You will steward Open Briefing’s first global development board, working closely with our CEO and director of development to engage members around a dynamic programme of activities designed to make Open Briefing more fundable and findable. 

Together with our director of development, you will drive forward a multi-year fundraising strategy to resource our work with activists and organisations on the frontlines of human rights, social justice, and environmental action. 

Your primary responsibilities will include: 

• Designing and executing our philanthropy fundraising strategy. Lead a strategy to identify, cultivate, and solicit high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) —including through Donor Advised Funds, Family Offices, Family Foundations, and other giving vehicles—with an immediate focus on the US, UK and Europe. 

• Prospecting and donor acquisition. Manage HNWI prospecting, generate new leads, develop solicitation plans, brief senior leadership in advance of meetings, and coordinate cultivation and networking opportunities.

• Stewardship and relationship management. Build strong relationships with existing and potential donors through tailored stewardship plans designed to grow income over time. Manage donor tracking and communication systems.

• You will have extensive experience managing a HNWI or major gift portfolio.

• Oversee the performance and maintenance of our IT server and network, maintain regular contact with our IT services provider to ensure all issues are resolved.
• Maintain, service and replace office equipment and furniture as required, including IT and telephone systems.

Venue Hire & Events Administration

• Develop a robust and efficient system for the hire and use of the facilities at St Columban’s, covering both external bookings and internal use by staff and volunteers of the Charity.
• Handle all enquiries and bookings.
• Maintain a bookings diary/calendar that is available to all who need access.
• Keep a complete record of all bookings, related documents and correspondence in our CRM database.
• Ensure hirers and users of the facilities are briefed in all matters related to health & safety.
• Ensure the facilities are clean and ready to use before and after each booking.
• Host or arrange hosting for each booking.
• Process payments/donations made for the hire/use of the facilities.
• Collect and record feedback on their experience from external hirers and users.

Reception

• Welcome and host all visitors to St Columban’s during normal opening hours.
• Maintain a visitors log and ensure all visitors sign in and sign out when leaving the building.

• Process requests from Charity supporters to donate, request a Mass or to update their database record.
• Receive and keep a daily log of deliveries, collections and service/maintenance visits.

Under the supervision and management of the Health & Safety Officer, you will:

Health & Safety Administration

• Maintain and update BrightSafe, our health & safety planning and records management tool.
• Maintain regular contact with Peninsula, our Health & Safety service provider
• Review and update risk assessments for the office and conference room areas.
• Prompt and assist those responsible to review and update all other risk assessments.
• Ensure actions identified following a review are completed and updated in BrightSafe.
• Check and restock First Aid kits.
• Recruit and organise a team of first aiders and fire marshals.
• Provide and monitor accident books for the whole site and keep a central record of accidents reported.

Job Outline:

CFAB is a national charity and the UK branch of the International Social Service network. CFAB’s social work team helps to resolve cases involving child protection, children in care, unaccompanied children, and vulnerable adults when the case crosses international borders. CFAB social workers and caseworkers offer advice and guidance to individuals and local authorities and help to link social work services between the UK and other countries.

The main purpose of this role is to assist with the day to day running of the CFAB Advice Line and manage a caseload of allocated inter-country cases originating from the UK or overseas.

Key responsibilities:

Finance

· Code and process purchase invoices, staff expenses and obtain authorisation of expenditure as per financial procedures manual.

· Save copies of the Approval Max pdf’s in the Purchase folder.

· Prepare sales invoices to customers on the receipt of instruction from the social work team and email copy of invoice to customers.

· Liaise with the social work team to ensure sales invoice requests are generated for all Opportunities raised in Salesforce.

· Update Salesforce to reflect processed sales invoices.

· Maintain records of sales and purchase invoices in accordance with CFAB’s policies and procedures

· Banking of cheques received.

· Perform credit control duties according to the financial procedures manual.

· Handle and process all petty cash claims in accordance with CFAB policy, and ensure these are correctly authorised and reconcile the petty cash tin monthly.

· Maintain the files of supplier contracts including assisting the Finance Manager to review contracts periodically.

· Maintain the Local Authority Finance contacts spreadsheet.

· Assist the Finance Manager with the maintenance of the charity asset register.
