Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. As a charity we rely on donations from the Scottish public, companies and communities to ensure that urgent medical help gets to the patient when it is needed, wherever they are and at whatever time of day.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as Administration Manager. As Manager of a small team of administration assistants, you will play a crucial role in coordinating administrative support across our Perth and Aberdeen offices, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation by providing support across several of the charity’s functions including fundraising, finance, marketing and operations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar office or administration management role, ideally within the charity sector. They will be proactive in building positive relationships across the charity and will be confident managing projects, budgets and external suppliers. They will have experience of using CRM systems in a fundraising context, be solutions-focused and have a strong commitment to our mission.
This role will be based from our headquarters at Perth Airport, and occasional travel to our Aberdeen base will be required. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job:
Prepare compelling responses to grant applications, support the Business Development Director and wider leadership team with responses to complex tenders and high-value funding applications.
Ensure all policies, procedures and practice are reviewed in line with designated timescales and meet the quality assurance requirements of the national outcomes framework and service standards for VAWG, SafeLives, Women’s Aid NQS, RESPECT accreditation principles and any additional frameworks agreed by the CEO.
Lead, monitor and evaluate projects as designated by the Business Development Director e.g. project management of website redevelopment, collaborating with external contractors and our IT Manager to convey our organisational vision.
Support operational activities which inform whole-organisation improvement e.g. gather and analyse staff survey feedback data, possess a natural curiosity for data analysis and identification of trends which draw meaningful conclusions from qualitative and quantitative data.
Manage (and delegate where appropriate) and quality assure all subject access requests, complaints and data queries in line with Data Protection and GDPR legislation, working with, and supported by the Business Development Director (DPO) on complex cases.

Mental Health Service Manager Central Bristol

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Milestones Trust Mental Health Division as a Service Manager, overseeing the management of a cluster of four established services in central Bristol.
Cranbrook Road, Northumberland Road and Coronation Road are registered residential homes in Redland and Southville while Linden Rd is a supported living project in Westbury Park. Three of the four services are within ten minutes’ walk of each other. There are a total of 16 registered and 4 unregistered beds across the cluster and the Service Manager has the support of 2 full-time Service Coordinators to ensure the day-to-day delivery of the service is effective and efficient. The services provide individualized recovery services for people with complex mental health needs, with the aim of enabling people to graduate to step-down accommodation when they are ready.
As a Service Manager you will be accountable for the safe, cost-effective and personalised running of the services in line with Milestone Trust’s values and organisational priorities. You will lead your teams to meet all compliance requirements and consistently meet and exceed service KPIs as you develop and implement your vision for the services.
As the Service Manager you will:
- Have extensive knowledge of working with people who have complex and enduring mental health needs
- Have extensive experience of managing risk in a Social Care setting
- Have previous experience of leading and developing teams
- Be able to work alongside your team to coach individuals and provide a positive and professional role model to all staff
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, people we support and a range of stake holders, family and friends
- Have effective time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure

Key Responsibilities
Operational Support

Act as the first point of contact for premises, facilities, IT and Estates issues across all Weston Park Cancer Charity locations including our Outreach programmes.

Assist the Operations Manager in maintaining a secure and organised premises and facilities, which ensure colleagues, volunteers and visitors are safe and experience a welcoming environment.

Support the Operations Manager in the successful delivery of the Annual Operations plan.

Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and take minutes in operations-related working groups.

Support with updating operational policies and procedures.

Act as a first point of contact for data related issues, alongside the Operations Manager - following relevant training, to promote a strong GDPR culture.

Assist in the coordination of charity vehicle fleet maintenance schedules and provide breakdown response support.

Assist in the control and coordination of the use of charity space and assets, including liaising with contractors and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH) on relevant matters as required.

Environmental Advocate

Work with the Operations Manager to promote environmental awareness and encourage the charity adopts a green approach (e.g., recycling, energy use, carbon footprint).

About the Role
The Director of Programmes is a new senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the integration, effectiveness, and evidence-based delivery of Screen Share's sector-leading programmes. It will oversee and advance our key programme areas, including digital access, digital skills, digital connectivity and IT repair.

The Director of Programmes will play a crucial role in translating strategic objectives into clear operational outcomes, overseeing the performance of programme managers, and leading a collaborative approach to programme delivery across the organisation. They will also deputise for the CEO, ensuring strong organisational leadership as the charity continues to grow and mature.
The Director of Programmes will also champion the integration of lived experience leadership throughout the organisation, ensuring that the perspectives and expertise of refugees and those with lived experience of digital exclusion are embedded within programme design, delivery, decision-making and strategic direction at Screen Share.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Office Manager is responsible for the smooth running of our renovated, spacious open plan office, ensuring that it is welcoming, safe and inclusive. The postholder will lead on day-to-day office management, health and safety, and contribute to a high-quality employee experience in the office and working from home.
You should have demonstrable experience in office management and knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly about, property and office facilities management. The role is majority office based due to the responsibilities of the role, with a minimum 3 days per week in the office, with the option of some home working.
