IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of special educational needs and disability (SEND) law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Trusts and Philanthropy Officer to join our small, ambitious fundraising team. IPSEA has a proven track record of successfully securing grants, and this is a new role designed to help strengthen and grow IPSEA’s income from charitable Trusts and Foundations. You will be responsible for researching new funding opportunities, preparing and submitting tailored applications and reports, and managing relationships with existing funders through thoughtful and timely stewardship. You will also support the early development of strategies in major gifts and wider philanthropy.
This role is an opportunity to play a key role in our future fundraising strategy and help secure long-term financial sustainability for our services.
You will work remotely, with occasional travel required for essential meetings approximately 4-5 times per year.

Are you passionate about developing personalised supporter journeys and stewardship plans? Do you have experience in delivering these across multiple channels specifically digital? We’ve invested in our technical capabilities and how we communicate with our digital donors to improve engagement and lifetime value and we’re looking for an exceptional Individual Giving Manager to develop and maximise our retention strategy and activities.
Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.
You will develop retention strategies and deliver plans across regular giving, lottery and cash supporters including developing and launching a mid-value programme. You will also manage the online shop. Using digital channels along with direct mail, SMS and telemarketing you will improve supporter loyalty and lifetime value. You will also manage one direct report, the Individual Giving Officer.
You will bring digital expertise and show how you work within a test and learn environment. You will demonstrate a supporter-led and evidence approach that is based on insight. You’ll be creative and curious, looking internally and external for inspiration and ideas. You’ll also be responsible for budget management and play a pivotal role in delivering ambitious targets in the Supporter Giving + Legacies team.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.
Their vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. To achieve their mission, they are looking for a Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to lead the high value function, including income from major donors, corporate partners, and trusts and grants. The P&P team also encompasses volunteering and relationships held with the family of member charities.
There is currently an interim Head of P&P in place until August to ensure progress continues towards the income ambition, and to support the team.
The P&P function is on a journey, much work has been done to embed effective processes and a consistent approach to pipelining. There has been much improvement so far, but there remains a lot of scope for the incoming Head to shape the team, define areas of focus and ways of working.
The team have had significant success this year, especially in the corporate partnerships space, so there is energy and enthusiasm to harness. There are exciting opportunities for high value fundraising connected to the launch of new Centres of Excellence across the UK, and some key events in the calendar such as a major donor dinner in September.
This role would suit an experienced fundraiser across major donor or corporate income streams. You will have led a team before, and have experience of designing and delivering fundraising strategies.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to come into a team that is on the right path, but needs a confident Head of to ensure the team works in the most effective way, and to provide support and guidance to the team.

What you will do:
You will be responsible for raising vital income from individuals via appeals, in memory, regular giving and our weekly lottery. Working with our beneficiaries and hearing their stories, your focus will be on delivering compelling appeals and marketing our individual giving campaigns digitally and physically; ensuring exceptional donor journeys when stewarding existing relationships and creating new ones.

What we are looking for:
• Demonstrable experience in individual giving and appeal management.
• A successful track record of securing and maintaining income from individuals.
• Proven experience of effectively managing relationships with volunteers, supporters, and external audiences.
• Demonstrable experience of managing campaigns and appeals on all digital platforms.
• Excellent written communication with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to record and maintain information on a charity database (e.g., Salesforce).
