We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Knowledge and Information Manager to lead our recently expanded Knowledge and Information team. In this role you will have responsibility for leading the development of our highly regarded information and resources, to support, and empower everyone affected by Crohn’s or Colitis.  This includes our evidence-based online and printed publications, web content, research summaries and other information, ensuring it is relevant, and accessible to all.

You will be driving new initiatives and developing tactical plans for the team which meet our strategic objectives.

You will be a member of the charity’s Management Development Forum, providing leadership across the organisation and liaising with the Senior Leadership Team and contributing to the leadership, planning and delivery of cross-team projects.

CVAA UK is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit adoption agencies across the UK who specialise in finding homes for children in care. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. The programme has developed a strong reputation for attracting a range of subject experts to deliver cost effective, engaging and useful training. The full programme is listed on the CVAA UK website and inlcudes topics such as LGBTQ+ parenting; therapy for children; identity formation; racism and anti-racism; parenting courses; theraplay and many more.

Due to a restructure of the team, we are now looking for a Training Manager who can oversee the administration and delivery of the programme. Initially fixed term, it is anticipated that this post will become permanent. We are keen to have someone joiun us as soon as possible.

The Training Manager will work with the Head of Practice Development to ensure that the courses are full, supported, delivered effectively and evaluated. Part of the role will also be to source new trainers and support the creation of the programme into 2025.

The CVAA team work remotely across the UK so location of the postholder is not a barrier to recruitment as long as long as they can travel occasionally and come into London for team days. The team is small, diverse and dynamic. Experience of project management or delivery of training or events is more important than knowledge of adoption or children's social care. Purpose of the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.

Digital Marketing

• Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
• Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.

• Collaborate closely with staff across the organisation to identify storytelling opportunities to ensure a full understanding of ArtsEd’s broad range of target audiences.

• Set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta, Google Ads and other platforms

• Utilise excellent graphic design skills to collaborate with the team on the design and delivery of different digital campaigns for all stakeholder groups. This will include mass e-mails, social media posts and digital collateral as required.

Design & Brand

Recruitment

• Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
• Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
• Managing an associated  programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
• Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
• To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp

Social Media

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy

The Hepatitis C Trust develops projects nationally where peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training, increase hepatitis C awareness, and access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C. 

Working with the South West Peninsula ODN, The Hepatitis C Trust are now expanding this commitment through the introduction of the HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) surveillance and early liver disease detection programme.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre is seeking a Communications Officer (Media) with sharp news sense to join our growing team. The successful candidate will bring talent, enthusiasm, and relevant knowledge and experience to support press and social media strategies and communications across the entire global organisation. The role sits in our global communications team, working with, and reporting to, the Head of Communications. We are a small, high-performing team tasked with increasing the media and social media coverage of BHRRC’s analysis and key findings, as well as supporting and amplifying the efforts of our partners on the ground that are fighting to achieve justice and remedies for victims of abuse.

Responsibilities

The Communications Officer (Media) will have a particular focus on increasing international media coverage of BHRRC’s work and research, and the activities of our partners, including in the field of labour rights. Responsibilities will include:

Drive a proactive and strategic press approach: Spot opportunities for high impact coverage in target outlets, building on existing press lists, develop relationships with priority journalists, and create and pitch compelling content to media, including media advisories, press releases and related materials.

Develop high-impact communications products, synthesising complex research and data sets: Work with our Global Team to develop materials which speak to our key audiences. Develop key messages for our priority programmes and also discrete outputs including individual briefings and research reports.

Contribute to organisational and project communications strategies and planning: Support the Head of Communications to implement our communications strategy. Advise project managers on strategic communications and support launch project planning. Keep our planning calendar up to date and help ensure deadlines are met.

Produce well-written content: Write and edit channel-appropriate content for our audiences. Support the Global Team to produce high-quality and newsworthy reports, op-eds and blogs.

Support digital outputs: Support the Web Content and Senior Digital Officers as appropriate, creating content for our digital platform and social media platforms (including priority platforms LinkedIn and Twitter).

Support the communications team: Provide on-call cover for the media line, with occasional infrequent out of hours work, and share admin jobs.

Key competencies and attributes

Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in a communications role, including working in a busy press office, communications department or as a journalist.

Media: Sharp news sense and editorial judgement; ability to conceive, craft and pitch news stories and carry out fast reactive work. Knowledge of and experience of working with the mainstream media, including knowledge of the editorial positions, audiences, and sections or programmes of key outlets. In addition, ideally, knowledge of international business media or media in some specific countries or regions.

Relationship building: Track record of developing relationships with journalists on key issues. Any existing contacts of relevance to BHRRC’s work a bonus.

For-impact communications: Excellent understanding of how strategic communications can work with research and advocacy approaches to achieve change. Proven ability to synthesis and communicate complex and sensitive information; understanding of how to tailor content to different audiences, contexts and channels. Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors (London) - £29,000  per annum plus London Weighting (pro-rata)

Here at One Million Mentors, our aim is to ensure that every young person in the country has access to a trained mentor as they transition into adulthood. We believe that investing in mentors will help to address the skills gap agenda and improve social cohesion.

This is one of two Regional Manager roles in London; a Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors, and Regional Manager for Programme Delivery.

The Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors focuses on mentor supply, securing sufficient volunteers primarily for London and also for 1MM’s national outreach. It’s the perfect role for a candidate whose passions and strengths align with large scale outreach for volunteers so that no young people on those programmes miss out.

The role is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors, in London and nationally. This includes partnership development, online site listing, and matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of some corporate programmes. Also to consider safeguarding measures, fundraising, meeting growth targets and leading all aspects of mentor management. The role will help to establish a pipeline in line with 1MM’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond.  This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

1MM Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors main tasks include:

• Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

• Meeting all quality assurance KPIs.

• Maximising conversion, retention, and mitigate drop-off

• Providing ongoing support for key stakeholder partners, including Employers, and maintaining strong relationships.

• Securing at least one new partner per quarter.

• Becoming familiar with the 1MM Platform, using it comfortably for ongoing administration and providing support to users.

• Providing regular reports on progress related to the role.

• Potential for line-management responsibilities as the team grows.

Terms and Conditions: This is a full time role offered in London, for 6 months (continuing subject to funding). This is a hybrid role with two days working at home, two days in the London office, and one day where it is up to you.

Remuneration and benefits: Salary bracket of £29,000 per annum plus London Weighting (pro rata), up to 6.5% employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday per year (pro rata).  We also offer monthly team Learning and Development training sessions, and 15 hours volunteering allowance per year.

About the role

We have a new and worthwhile opportunity as a Project Manager to join the delivery team to increase the impact of our behaviour change work in schools across Wales. You will be working to create a culture that makes it easier for children to walk, wheel, scoot, or cycle.

You will provide project management for 'Active Journeys’, involving effective line management and coordination of a project team of School Officers that deliver behavioural change activities. 

As the Project Manager you will lead in the development of educational resources, supporting the integration of active travel activities in schools. You will also support with organising key events and workshops that showcase Active Travel Schools best practice. 

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans. Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected to the nominated hub/office base in Cardiff.

As the Poppy Appeal Manager in North East London, your main role is to achieve income, expenditure, and contribution targets, ensuring the success of the appeal.
