About You

Parentkind has been highly successful in fundraising, delivering 5/6/7/8 figure opportunities during this, its first year of fundraising.  We now require an ambitious and experienced Corporate Account Manager, with a passion for building on this to grow and deliver high value fundraising partnerships that will bring about transformational change. Crucial to this is the energy and focus we bring to ensuring charitable donations are utilised as effectively as possible through the Guy’s Cancer Charity, the Evelina London Children’s Charity and the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity. You will work in our Trust Engagement team, which is responsible for developing projects with colleagues at the Trust, making grants to deliver those projects and managing those grants on an ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of grants, advising and guiding applicants and grant holders, with appropriate support from Funding Managers where needed.

• Manage initial enquiries from Trust staff, responding to potential applicants and progressing ideas as agreed.

• Build strong relationships with the Fundraising and Communications teams, supporting robust information flow between the teams.
• Build strong relationships with grant holders, Special Purpose Fund holders and other Trust contacts, helping to raise the profile of our three Charities and spot opportunities to develop and fund work.
• Become familiar with the Charities’ Special Purpose Funds (SPFs), supporting annual requests for spending plans, coordinating approvals, and responding to queries from fundholders.
• Develop and manage a process to monitor fundraising income into SPFs and allocation of restricted donations.
• Work with the Trust Engagement Business Manager to design reporting that enables robust pipeline and grant management, and supports monitoring and evaluation.
• Support improvement projects as needed, such as improvements to funding schemes, funding operations or business systems.

We are seeking to appoint someone on a 12-month fixed term contract as maternity cover, to join our Grants Team in delivering The Ideas Fund, an exciting programme which looks to connect communities with researchers in order to develop and try out ideas related to mental wellbeing. The Fund is delivered in four areas of the UK – Oldham, Hull, the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and North West Northern Ireland, although this role can be remote, based anywhere in the UK.

With support from the Head of Grants, we expect that you will have lead responsibility for our work in two of these areas, building strong relationships with our Development Co-ordinators and contributing to the successful delivery of the overall programme. You will oversee the support for grant holders to learn from what is working and feed this learning into our overall approach with the Fund, as well as sharing insights externally. You will work with our existing Grants & Learning Manager to ensure that our due diligence and grant reporting requirements are met, responding flexibly and creatively to issues that arise. Key responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role are to:

• Work with the Head of Grants to deliver an innovative programme that constantly evolves based on what we learn.
• Deliver excellent grant-making using relational, flexible and participatory approaches.
• Design and implement high-quality assessment, due diligence and grant management processes, continually reviewing and refining the approach.
• Support the assessment and delivery of a portfolio of ‘evidence building’ grants, with projects due to begin in January 2025.

• Develop bespoke application and grant management and learning processes as appropriate.
• Work with the Head of Grants to devise a learning and development plan for the Grants Team.

• Champion innovation in supporting community/researcher collaboration, community-led research, systems change and grant-making across relevant sectors including:
  • Sharing learning, practice and ideas with a broad range of stakeholders through a range of approaches.
  • Representing the British Science Association at external events to share innovation and learning.
  • Develop and deliver events and/or content to showcase practice.
• Support the Head of Grants with developing the BSA’s strategy around future grants programmes.

We’re looking for a Research Manager who combines exceptional ability in research and report-writing, with a real passion for (and experience in) peacebuilding. We offer flexible hours and working from home, anywhere in the world. It will be vital that you have an excellent grasp of the context in the Central African region, which will require time spent there and, ideally, significant prior knowledge.
In the first months of the programme, the team will consult at least three thousand people, with a combination of key informant interviews, individual questionnaires and focus groups to build both quantitative and qualitative datasets.
This will add to a dataset of over ten thousand consultations over 6 years, so you’ll have a unique evidence base at your disposal. We believe that, with your expertise and support, we could make better use of the rich information in these datasets, and we feel we owe that to the women and men we’ve consulted. The reports you produce will help amplify their voices, providing decision-makers in government and the international community with clear recommendations for activities that will address root causes of conflict and promote sustainable peace and development.

Who you are:

An experienced and ambitious project and programme officer looking for a new challenge engaging with the education sector on the crucial issue of road safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-scale project management from planning to execution and reporting.
• Assess and recommend new projects or changes to existing ones.

• Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective information flow.

The For Baby’s Sake Trust seeks to appoint a Deputy Director of Operations. The Deputy Director will work with the Director of Operations to lead programme development and delivery across the Trust. Specific Responsibilities:

Publicity & Marketing

• Be responsible for regular social media posts relating to BLG Minds services, projects, news and events across all channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Identify local groups and organisations to align our communications with, ensuring that tagging and appropriate hashtags are used to extend our reach.
• Work closely with the Communications and business development teams to identify and communicate key news items which can be shared online and assist in the production of offline promotional materials where required.
• Support the Business Development & Engagement Officer to promote and communicate fundraising campaigns, events and new areas of focus.
• Be responsible for maintaining the BWW Mind website, creating and updating engaging content (using Wordpress)
• Produce Facebook and Google ads in line with promotional requirements of our services/projects.
• Identify and manage any issues arising on BWW Mind's social media feeds (in consultation with more senior staff as required), particularly where there is a reputational risk.
• Be involved in capturing images and video during events and activities for promotional purposes.
• Ensure that the organisation’s branding is upheld in all aspects of online communications, and that our outputs online comply with National Mind’s brand guidelines.

Communications

• Ensure that queries and comments presented through our social media channels are responded to in a timely way.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation and communicate with staff and volunteers to find out more about services and projects generating news stories.
• Edit information provided by staff and partners to communicate news clearly and effectively through the various online systems.
• Work with partner organisations including local press online contacts to ensure joined up digital communications.
• With other members of the Communications team, plan and organise activities to raise awareness of BWW Mind, tying in with other notable calendar events such as Mental Health Awareness Week.
• Alongside the Communications team, ensure that staff have an awareness of corporate guidelines with regards to use of email, social media and web content.
• Through the induction process, be involved in ensuring that new staff understand the importance of communications and how they can contribute to our organisational outputs.

Monitoring, evaluation and strategic direction

• Using Google analytics and statistical information generated on the back end of the different social media platforms, extract relevant data which identifies key trends and reasons why interaction may have increased or decreased and provide this to the DoBDI monthly, and assist in the production of quarterly reports for dissemination to committees and SMT.
• Work closely with internal staff to gain an understanding of which online approaches are most effective in reaching audiences and gaining buy in.
• Create systems to ensure that as an organisation we can ascertain the impact of our communications and focus our approaches accordingly.
• Contribute to communications and marketing work plans and be involved in developing a marketing and communications strategy.
