Purpose of the Role

This exciting new role is about creating connections, building ecosystems and developing and strengthening relationships that power social justice movements. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will work closely with the CEO to lead our partnerships and community engagement work — creating the enabling conditions and networks that help youth-led movements grow, sustain, and make lasting change.

You will take lead on:

• Partnering with other funders to resource youth-led change, including co-designed and co-held programmes with other foundations.
• Developing community partnerships based on the needs and priorities of the young people we are here to serve - including charities, local businesses, and local authorities.
• Understanding the landscape of youth-led change and social justice work, identifying gaps in support and guiding our investment to help fill them, both at the national and local level.
• Monitoring and communicating the impact of our work with external audiences.
• Ensuring our work is grounded in safeguarding practices that minimise harm and uphold our commitment to care, equity and justice.

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Without our care, these buildings might have disappeared entirely. Instead, they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.

Overall job purpose

In recent years, CCT has experienced great success in applying to grant funders, including Trust and Foundations, Landfill Communities Fund, and the National Lottery Heritage Fund. 

CCT’s 2025 -30 strategy focuses on delivering conservation projects across our estate and securing income from grant funders will be crucial.  We will also work with local communities to address smaller conservation projects via the Community Initiative Framework.

The Grants Officer will research and identify relevant funding opportunities, build a healthy pipeline, and submit applications for project funding to meet fundraising targets during an exciting period of growth.

There will be requirement for occasional travel for project visits and team meetings.

About the Role

As a Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for student engagement, timetabling, logistics, and tutor performance, helping learners secure vital qualifications for their future.

Programme Coordination

• Manage a portfolio of up to 300 students throughout the year, ensuring sustained engagement with tutoring sessions.

• Support contract renewal discussions to sustain and expand partnerships.

 Creative Problem-Solving and Innovation

•  Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance programme efficiency.
• Contribute to wider organisational projects, such as tutor training, resource development, and student engagement initiatives.

Championing Get Further’s Vision and Values

Job Title:Youth Engagement Officer

Reporting to:Operations Director

About the role

This role will continue to develop and deliver Allergy UK’s youth engagement initiative for our existing Youth Engagement Group for young adults living with allergies aged 18-25. 

This role will also need to recruit members to a new Youth Engagement Group for young people living with allergies aged 13-17.

Owing to the nature of this role, the successful candidate, will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

We are excited to create and deliver projects focused on engaging young people who live with allergy and providing opportunities for them to have a voice and support them in raising awareness of the issues that affect their life. We are seeking young people’s participation and co-production in all activities we develop to support their needs. The role of Youth Engagement Officer will be to engage with young people across the UK, to ensure that they have the opportunities and support to shape and influence Allergy UK’s programmes and activities for young people living with allergy.

The successful individual will work to develop youth engagement opportunities which increase skills, confidence, and life chances through supporting young people living with this disease to overcome any barriers they face.

 As a Youth Engagement Officer, you will have experience of working positively with young people and have a proactive nature. Organisation skills and initiative is a must as you will be the lead on our youth provision.You will be required to coordinate activities with young people such as online and in-person engagement, blogs, podcasts, learning and digital activities. In addition to this, you will need to effectively lead the young people to help them shape services for young people in the allergic community to better improve the standard of care that exists in the public, private and commercial sectors.

These activities will be centred on practice of co-production. We are looking for someone who wants to work as part of a team to engage young people, to highlight unheard voices and stories and promote progress and change through action.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, project manage and deliver exciting new co-production projects and establish positive links with young people and promote active participation in activities.
• Provide opportunities for young people to have a voice and support them in getting involved in Allergy UK’s awareness and public affairs to influence governmental change and improve services for young people with allergy.
• Create, develop and lead on the work of the Allergy UK Youth Forum.
• Support and develop young people to become champions and ambassadors for Allergy UK.
• Work collaboratively with a range of organisations including but not exclusively schools, local government, health and youth services and youth organisations.
• Develop training and development resources for young people 
• Complete all required documentation accurately and within agreed timescales to ensure that contract requirements are met 
• Work alongside the Operations Director and other staff advising them of relevant issues facing children and young people.
• Develop Allergy UK’s youth engagement procedures and practice.
• Develop opportunities to engage young people in volunteering for Allergy UK
• Responsible for the health and safety of yourself and others who you interact with and undertake appropriate health and safety reviews, risk assessments in relation to activities.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a PR Officer to help us develop our PR campaigns to help raise awareness of our brand and inspire people with our work.

The Role: 
•    You’ll be responsible for all our regional PR and sector press activity.
•    You’ll manage media relationships and collaborate with comms leads across the UK to deliver this work.

About the role:

As a Senior Triage and Early Interventions Officer (TEIO) you will:

• Line manage a team of TEIOs
• Allocate work to the team
• Provide early intervention support and work with those affected by crime
• Ensure quality of service by monitoring and sampling work
• Work with other managers to develop, enhance and coordinate the Hub

You will need:

• Good organisational & people and communication skills
• Experience of managing others & an understanding of managing a team in a similar environment
• Experience of answering calls & speaking to people in distress
• The ability to keep calm and make decisions based on information
• Good IT skills, able to work on a case management system, access phone & online systems, email and Microsoft Office programmes.

Design & Implement Staff Training Programs: Proven experience developing and delivering comprehensive training modules in areas such as health and safety, safety protocols, customer service, and leadership development.

Training Delivery: Demonstrated ability to facilitate engaging, interactive training sessions using both in-person and digital methods for diverse teams.

Training Needs Analysis: Experience collaborating with leadership to identify skill gaps and create tailored training solutions.

Performance Measurement: Proven capability to develop metrics and evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness, report findings, and refine programs accordingly.

Resource Development: Track record of creating and maintaining high-quality training materials, guides, and documentation.

New Starter Journey: Experience designing and delivering induction programs that provide new staff with a strong introduction to organisational culture and key knowledge areas.

External Training Development: Experience delivering specialist training to partners and clients, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.

Continuous Improvement: stay up to date with industry best practice, new technologies and new flood-related practices to be incorporated into training materials

 Day-to-Day Activities

• You will line manage an Administrative Co-ordinator who has partial responsibilities for Training delivery and support them with their workstreams and development
• Liaise and develop relationships with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop training processes to support them
• Support Senior Management Team to build income streams and develop new activity, working to support and deliver NFF strategy
• Providing information and case studies for communications and advocacy work

· You will be acting as the main contact for training, both internally and externally
