About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to join UKCF at a time of growth, ambition and innovation. We are looking for an interim Partnerships Officer to help us build and deliver impactful national partnerships that bring real, measurable benefits to communities across the UK. 

Initially for a period of six months, you will hit the ground running to pick up an existing portfolio of national programmes currently under delivery. You’ll lead on programme administration including design and delivery, as well as collaborating with UKCF finance and membership colleagues to collate and disseminate programme data for funders and internal stakeholders. 

In this client facing role, you will be responsible for administration and operational support in the development, delivery, and evaluation of high-value, strategic partnerships, whether with government departments, major trusts and foundations, corporate partners, or other longstanding partners. 

You’ll work closely with the Director of Partnerships & Insight and community foundations to deliver an existing portfolio of programmes and to shape strong proposals and administer the end-to-end implementation of new partnerships. 

You’ll also play a key role in helping UKCF and the wider network become more insight-led and data-driven, strengthening our approach to programme design, learning, and impact evaluation.

This role requires exceptional organisational, programme and project management skills. Experience in a trust or foundation, grantmaking, especially within programme design, is a bonus.

You will report to the Director of Partnerships & Insight and also work closely with the wider team including finance, membership and communications staff. 

Key responsibilities 

• Programme delivery and administration – Support the smooth running of national partnerships and programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Maintain accurate financial and programme records, track deadlines, and make sure monitoring and reporting requirements are met. 

• Reporting and insight – Analyse programme data and contribute to clear, high-quality reports for funders, partners, and internal teams. Capture learning and examples of good practice to strengthen future programmes. 

• Collaboration and communication – Work closely with colleagues across UKCF, including communications, finance and membership, to ensure effective programme delivery. Provide timely advice and support to team members, community foundations, and funders, resolving queries quickly and accurately. 

• Relationships and improvement – Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with funders, community foundations, and delivery partners. Identify opportunities to refine and improve processes to make delivery more efficient and impactful. 

Who we’re looking for: 

We’re seeking someone who is proactive, highly organised, confident with data, and comfortable juggling competing priorities while building strong relationships. You’ll bring experience in programme administration, accurate record-keeping, and reporting, with the ability to translate information into clear insights. Strong digital and technology skills are important, as is the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners. Ideally, you’ll also have some experience in grant-making, process improvement, or using systems like Salesforce, but above all we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, curious, and motivated by UKCF’s values of inclusivity, collaboration, and ambition for communities. 

ROLE SUMMARY 

Reporting to the Director of Partnerships & Insight, this role is central to the effective day-to-day running of UKCF’s national partnerships and grant programmes. You will play a key role in keeping programmes on schedule and within budget, with strong administration and attention to detail at the heart of the position. At the same time, you will build and maintain positive working relationships with funders, community foundations, and colleagues across UKCF, acting as a reliable point of contact and ensuring information flows smoothly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Under the supervision of the Director of Partnerships & Insight ensure the partnerships and programmes are delivered on time and in budget.

• Analyse partnership and programme data and contribute to reports for funders and internal teams.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. To lead on financial strategy and planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis for The Mix and its trading subsidiary, 127 Trading Ltd.

To lead on data strategy and management, (financial and non-financial), across the whole organisation ensuring data quality, and promoting data-driven decision-making.

Background

The Mix Stowmarket Ltd. is an established youth charity working with young people across Mid Suffolk. Through mentoring, youth work, education programmes and social enterprise, we support young people young people aged 9–25 across Mid Suffolk. The Mix has a committed team, a flagship youth centre, and a trading arm, 127 Trading Ltd, which operates two cafés. We are rooted in community impact and innovation.

We have recently appointed our new CEO, who takes up post in October 2025.  We now seek an experienced Head of Finance and Data to support the senior team as they lead The Mix into its next chapter, with prime responsibility to provide sound and rigorous financial and data leadership across The Mix and 127 Trading Ltd.

Overview of the role

As the organisation’s Head of Finance and Data, you will be an experienced, and trusted professional, who can bring strong financial and data disciplines to the organisation.

Working closely with our new CEO and committed trustees and staff, you will develop and implement The Mix’s financial and data strategies that are aligned to our vision to expand the reach of our crucial support of young people in Suffolk.

You will have a thorough understanding of financial accounting and planning relevant to the charity and social-enterprise sectors, with a strong attention to detail.

You will be passionate about the use of financial and non-financial data to inform business decisions and be an effective analyst and communicator of business performance.
 
You may come from the youth, charity, health, education, or social enterprise sectors — but above all we welcome candidates who can bring the vision, leadership and heart to shape the future of fundraising and marketing at The Mix.

Main Responsibilities

1. Financial leadership

· Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and practices.

· Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

· Lead the Finance sub-committee

· Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and relevant analysis of performance, at a project, site, and business level.

· Manage financial risk and ensure regulatory compliance.

· Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the board.

· Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
 

2. Data Strategy and Management
 

· Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy.

· Ensure data quality, security, and governance.

· Drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

· Chair the Data, Impact and Evidence Action Group.

· Oversee data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

· Collaborate with other departments on data-related initiatives.
 

3. Stakeholder Engagement
 

· Communicate financial and data insights to senior management, the CEO, the Board, and stakeholders.

· Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Function as a point of contact for audit and regulatory inquiries.
 

4. Team leadership and development
 

· Lead and mentor the finance and data team.

· Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Grants operations and data manager

Salary - £54,963 - £64,124 pro rata

We believe that people’s sight matters and wish to strengthen our committed and passionate team by appointing a grants operations and data manager to join our grants and research team.

The grants operations and data manager is a newly created role, within Moorfields Eye Charity's grants and research team, to support, manage and develop grant funding operations. This is a really exciting time to join the team as this position will play a key role in the ongoing optimisation of the teams grants management system (Flexigrant, implemented 2024) and also the underpinning funding operations to support the delivery of our first grants strategy, due to be launched in early 2026.

We have ambitious plans. We have put into action a five-year business plan that is supporting our growth from raising and funding around £6 million annually to becoming a £10 million a year charity.

This is an exciting opportunity for the grants operations and data manager to bring passion and experience to our dedicated team, ensuring we have robust and effective processes to select and award the most impactful projects and programmes, and enable the monitoring of outputs, outcomes and impact.

Experience in grants management is essential and the successful candidate will be able to think creatively, plan, solve problems, and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

You will be joining a supportive grants and research team who are committed to ensuring the charity has robust grant making mechanisms to determine best use of charitable funding together with monitoring and evaluating projects and programmes. 

You will be involved in optimising the grants management system and funding processes, driving effective data collection and reporting, and corresponding work-flows. The role is highly collaborative, requiring you to develop professional working relationships with stakeholders at various levels. It will suit a candidate who is dynamic and ambitious, confident delivering change, and in taking initiative.

About you

You will have an established track record in grant-making, ideally in a health or medical research charity. You will have experience in the full life-cyle of grants management and the delivery of grant-making programmes, working with complex data and databases. You will also have a keen interest in improving operational processes and developing/analysing reports for data driven grant making activities and showcasing the impact of funding.

You will be an effective communicator, able to build confident working relationships at all levels. You will bring strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to work collaboratively and to influence, lead others in matrix style working.

Schools Development Officer

The Role:
To assist in the delivery of a high-quality, widely respected and customer-influenced repairs and maintenance function by providing full project management support and customer liaison across the full range of Stoll’s property compliance and asset maintenance contracts and programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a positive image of Stoll to its customers, stakeholders, and other relevant outside bodies.
Provide input to the Corporate Plan and Team Plans through participation in Organisational, Departmental and Team Meetings.
Provide appropriate ‘team’ cover in the absence of other staff as reasonably requested.

Specific Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and implement the delivery of gas safety services to include annual gas safety checks to all dwellings and gaining access to inaccessible homes.
• Develop and maintain effective mechanisms to ensure all gas, LPG, oil, ASHP & renewables and solid fuel appliances are inspected annually.
• Maintain up-to-date and appropriate records for the proper management of the gas safety programme and all other property compliance programmes. This may include both paper and electronic records.
• Ensure that STOLL meet all statutory and HSE (Health and Safety Executive) requirements relating to all identified areas of property compliance including all elements of FLAGEL –   fire, legionella, asbestos, gas safety, electrical safety, and lifts.
• Work closely with the H&S Officer to ensure that work relating to fire safety is delivered appropriately and as required.
• Effectively manage appropriate facilities management and property compliance budgets and resources to ensure optimum service/programme levels are achieved.
• Process invoices and ensure contract payments are made in a timely fashion.
• Provide colleagues with itemised service charge estimates for tenants and leaseholders detailing the annual costs of servicing/maintenance/cyclical works.
• Ensure timely, accurate and relevant performance management information is available for review and can be produced for the property compliance function. Assist in monitoring performance targets to achieve continuous improvement.
• Assist with the preparation, administration and monitoring of facilities management and property compliance contracts and programmes. Prepare specifications and schedules and programmes of work. Issue works orders and monitor quantity, progress, and quality of works on site.
• Manage contractors daily across the full portfolio of facilities management and property compliance programmes, ensuring that contractors adhere to an agreed programme for each individual resident’s home and that collectively programmes are delivered on time.
• Ensure timely and accurate administration of all records relating to property compliance and facilities management. This will include input and record keeping and include supervision of contractors.
• Records must be maintained to a standard which ensures that all information in connection with servicing and testing programmes is readily retrievable when requested.
• Carry out site inspections of works in progress when required. Arrange and minute regular meetings with property compliance, facilities management and cyclical maintenance contractors either as specified in individual contracts, or on good practice grounds agreed with the Director of Property and Asset Management.
