With a focus on the strategic development side of the team you will cultivate information into initiatives such as the development of curricula or standards but also ongoing initiatives which will serve to increase routes into the workforce for both existing and emerging groups of doctors and allied health professionals. What you’ll do:
- Manage the development and implementation of new versions of the postgraduate curricula for our specialities.
- Establish and implement necessary quality assurance mechanisms and initiative.
- Oversee the provision of support for ancillary workforce development initiatives.
- Undertake market research to evaluate the viability of proposed new workforce initiatives, targeting those with the greatest reach and impact.
- Lead, motivate performance manage and develop a team.

We are a multi-award winning, creative and innovative organisation with an exciting vacancy to lead War Child UK’s Institutional funding to ensure growth in our restricted funding portfolio. Bringing a strong network of partners, donor relationships and understanding of donor trends, you will play a vital role in reviewing and improving the quality of War Child’s institutional fundraising in the UK and work with our Programmes teams to diversify the scope and scale of new donors and grants. The main task of the Institutional Funding Lead is to secure funding from UK-based institutional donors. Your primary focus will be the FCDO. You will drive forward dynamic and proactive engagement strategies directly with UK-based institutional donors and indirectly through consortia. The post holder will also develop and support organisational positioning for contracts and grants. This role will introduce innovative and agile funding approaches and models to enhance War Child UK’s competitiveness in a complex donor environment.
If you have the following qualities, we'd love to hear from you:
- Substantial experience of co-creating, leading, and coordinating complex proposal development processes directly and remotely – ideally for relevant donors including FCDO and humanitarian pooled funds
- Strong understanding of donor compliance, with an up-to-date knowledge of relevant donors including FCDO, and humanitarian pooled funds
- Experience in building networks, partnerships, and consortia to maximise programme impact and funding opportunities
- The ability to engage with diverse stakeholders in a way that leads to increased impact for the organisation, and to spot and create opportunities with institutional foundations effectively and facilitate increasing access to funding for War Child’s work
- Ability to analyse the donor environment and identify trends, anticipate changes, be comfortable to deal with a large number of elements interacting in diverse and unpredictable ways
- Good knowledge regarding current development and trends in the (international) aid sector
- Experience in leading and delivering donor engagement strategies in the humanitarian sector across multiple countries - ideally in fragile, conflict-affected settings, similar to where War Child operates

About the role
In this role you’ll contribute to the operational delivery of innovative health partnerships for BHF. PSK leads and supports organisation-wide programme learning and knowledge management, collating and disseminating programme knowledge and facilitating knowledge exchange. The team provides technical advisory expertise and fosters and supports internal and external programme and technical partnerships and networks. The team also leads on developing normative programme documents and standards and advise and support the delivery of a programme capacity enhancement strategy. PSK collaborates with many functions across the organisation including policy, advocacy, campaigns, fundraising, communications, as well as with WaterAid partners and collaborators.
About the Role:
The Knowledge Management and Learning Senior Advisor drives the design and implementation of WaterAid's organisational programme learning and knowledge management strategy. The senior advisor leads the development of knowledge management tools, contribute to organisational processes for collating and disseminating program knowledge, and the evolution of knowledge exchange mechanisms. Additionally, lead the development of the internal programme and policy knowledge library, ensuring comprehensive access and collaborating on strategic knowledge communications.
The Senior advisor reports into the Knowledge Management and Learning Senior Manager and their key accountabilities will be:
Co-lead Programme Learning and knowledge management (approximately 50% of time)
- Co-lead the design and implementation of an organisational programme learning and knowledge management strategy (in alignment with the organisational research agenda led by GPAC and supported by PMER processes).
- Lead the development and implementation of knowledge management and learning strategies and tools to capture, organise, and disseminate programme learning within the organisation and externally

ROLE PURPOSE
This position involves identifying and prioritising potential donors capable of making significant contributions to help us deliver a range of projects aimed at enhancing the student experience and supporting the local community. By providing the Development and Fundraising Team with tailored and insightful research, this role will enhance the prospect funding pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of a diverse pools of donors, including individuals, grant-making trusts, and companies. This role will also manage a well-structured stewardship program for donors. Responsibilities include promptly acknowledging donations, creating personalised impact reports, and overseeing bi-annual events which recognise and celebrate their support.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To maintain and develop the University’s database of fundraising prospects through proactive identification, analysis, and segmentation, (individual and aggregate) record updating, and original research, including the identification of new prospects.
· To prepare prospect profiles (which may include wealth ratings), and work with relationship managers to devise appropriate tailored cultivation and solicitation plans, enabling appropriately targeted fundraising asks.
· To develop and manage reporting in the database across fundraising portfolios to help ensure prospects are strategically moving along the prospect pipeline towards major gift solicitation • To produce and provide due-diligence reports on prospective donors as part of the University’s gift acceptance procedures.
· To deliver an annual donor recognition event to acknowledge and celebrate the support of the University’s most generous supporters.

CONTEXT
The primary purpose of the Development team is to secure philanthropic income to support the delivery of the University’s Being Westminster 2022-2029 strategy. 1. Background and Purpose
The Deputy Director works in close partnership with the Executive Director (ED) to enhance the work of the small, dynamic secretariat team to create more momentum across its network. The Climate and Environment Lead is a leadership position in the WASH Technical Effectiveness team, reporting to the head of the team. About Black Thrive
Black Thrive Global (BTG) evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth (BTL) Partnership, which was established in 2016. We exist to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people so that the thriving of Black communities is the norm.
Our guiding principle is that Black communities should be at the forefront of reimagining, redefining, and co-creating a society where systemic racism and other oppressive systems have been dismantled so that they have fulfilling lives. We have two priorities – building a Black Thrive Research Institute and embedding race equity in systems change.
We have grown rapidly since 2021 and so still have a start-up culture and often deal with competing priorities at a fast pace.
The aim of Black Queer & Thriving is to explore the health and wellbeing needs of Black LGBTQ+ people in Lambeth and Southwark, develop community research that details these needs with the Working Group and use the outcome to influence local policy and infrastructure.

We need professionals with a background in education, youth work, and practical experience working with families to join our team of Community Connectors. You will work with the school community to improve the mental health and wellbeing support available. Working with parents, staff, and children, you will be able to identify the challenges faced by the community, using your links to local services and offers to ensure timely and appropriate support. Through your engagement with the school community, you will feed into a network of connectors, sharing important learnings & good practice.
