About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media and Engagement Officer with a genuine passion for conversation, connection, and community. This is not a broadcasting role — it’s about dialogue. You’ll be the voice of St John International across our social media channels, engaging with audiences in real time, responding thoughtfully to emerging conversations, and finding opportunities to amplify our work and our people.
You’ll help us grow beyond our traditional audiences, reaching new spaces and communities, and positioning St John International as a global leader in first aid and humanitarian service. The role reports to the Director of Communications and works closely with colleagues in the Fundraising Team and our network of international communicators across 44 St John Establishments.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for St John International’s social media communities, responding to comments, messages, and discussions in a timely, engaging, and brand-aligned way.

As education quality assurance service officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of World Physiotherapy’s education quality assurance services, including programme accreditation and CPD recognition.
You will be one of the key points of contact for World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) recognition. The position is instrumental in assisting the smooth running of World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services and supporting the work of the Head of membership, education and development, and other staff working on the education portfolio.
You will use your experience, initiative, confidence, project and organisational skills to support effective implementation of the education quality assurance services. You will support and coordinate activities and administrative tasks for the full review cycle. These include managing inquiries, processing applications, distributing materials to reviewers, organising site visits, supporting the review and reporting process, preparing documentation for committee approval, and communication with applicants about the results of the review. This will require close liaison with staff, member organisations, reviewers, board/committee members, and external stakeholders.

Duties and key responsibilities
Education quality assurance service administration
- Act as a primary point of contact for all inquiries related to education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and CPD recognition services.
- Manage the full application process, including intake, tracking, communication with applicants, assigning reviewers, and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
- Manage the annual reporting process
- Coordinate the distribution of applications and supporting materials to reviewers, ensuring timelines and procedures are followed.
- Organise and support site visits, including scheduling, logistics, documentation, and communication with applicants and reviewers.
- Support reviewers throughout the evaluation process, including preparing materials, responding to questions, and ensuring adherence to governance requirements.
- Provide administrative support to reviewers in preparation of documentation for internal and committee consideration.
- Organise accreditation committee meetings.
- Prepare materials for committee approval and minutes of the committee meetings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organisational standards.

Work with relevant staff to ensure that activities are set up on Teamwork® or other project management software and support their ongoing management.
Support communications activities:

- providing information to promote uptake of quality assurance services
- editing and formatting education quality assurance documents for house style
Liaise with different stakeholders including member organisations, regions, specialty groups and networks if necessary and as required by the Head of membership, education and development and other staff.
Maintain office systems and procedures, including data management and reporting.
Promote the image of World Physiotherapy in all activities and contribute to the overall development of the organisation undertaking any reasonable duties, as required and agreed, to support the work of World Physiotherapy.
Person specification
The education quality assurance service officer must have experience in supporting quality assurance management and administration. They must be highly organised, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in managing complex and competing demands from different sources.
It is expected that the individual will have a relevant degree, or equivalent professional experience in quality assurance, education administration, project coordination, or related field. Experience of working with senior staff, academics and boards/committees is essential. Experience working with reviewers, review boards or academic/quality assurance processes is an asset.

Introduction:
We are looking for an exceptional Programme Manager to join our UK Overseas Territories team to develop and manage an ongoing programme of international conservation projects in St Helena, Ascension, Tristan da Cunha and the Pitcairn Islands. Working closely with the RSPB’s network of territory partners the successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the development of an ambitious portfolio of impactful projects conserving and protecting the unique biodiversity of these special islands.
What's the role about?
Your main duties will include:
- Facilitating the development, funding and implementation of a diverse programme of partner led projects including policy, species, habitats, science and capacity focused interventions
- Working closely with partners to ensure development and the successful delivery of projects and the ongoing development of organisational capacity.
- Define the RSPB role in supporting territory governments in identifying and prioritising impact focused recovery and conservation programming across the Southern Ocean UKOTs.
- Work with internal fundraising teams to identify new funding opportunities and to develop new projects and secure legacies/extensions to existing projects.
- Building and maintaining a network of stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Internally this will include: relevant Programme Boards, the Globally Threatened Species Nature Recovery Group, Leadership Teams, Heads of International Programmes, Conservation Science and Policy Colleagues
- Externally this will include: BirdLife Partners and other NGOs, UK and Territory Government Departments, Fund-raising bodies.
- Management of budgets (up to £1m p.a.)
- Reporting on progress through CORA
- Assisting the Head of UKOTs in running a Leadership Team to oversee the UKOT project pipeline and to maintain and build team morale and cohesion.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
We are looking for a professional, persuasive and engaging individual with an excellent understanding of programme management and the development and funding of compelling, high impact projects. They should have the skills and personality to be able to bring together dynamic teams and lead cross-organization collaborations.

About the role:
We are looking for an Independent Domestic & Sexual Violence Advisor (IDSVA) to be based in our Cumbria team.
This is a 37.5 hour post. The aim of this role is to provide initial contact to victims of Domestic and/or Sexual abuse & provide ongoing support to victims and survivors referred to our Independent Sexual Violence service (ISVA).
As an IDSVA you will be:
- Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic and/or sexual abuse.
- Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
- Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
- Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
- Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse across the support sector.
You will need:
- Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic and/or sexual abuse is advantageous
- To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
- To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic and/or sexual abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

We offer a wide range of services that help the people we support to truly thrive in their communities. To make this possible, we’re looking for someone who can help us raise funds for the extras that statutory funding doesn’t cover—those things that make life richer, more connected, and more joyful.
While we fundraise for a variety of enhancements, the heart of our efforts is focused on our community‑based projects, including:
- Warmley Wheelers – our accessible cycling project that enables people of all abilities to enjoy the freedom and wellbeing benefits of cycling.
- Creative arts programmes – offering people meaningful ways to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with others.
- Garden‑based wellbeing initiatives – supporting the startup of therapeutic community gardening projects that nurture both people and green space.
We’re seeking someone who can help bring these projects to life—someone who can secure the funding that turns good ideas into real, lasting impact for local people.
About the role:
As our Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering our Fundraising Strategy by:
- securing income through well‑crafted grant applications
- building meaningful, strategic partnerships with local and national businesses
Your work will directly support the growth and sustainability of our community programmes, ensuring we can continue offering the opportunities and experiences that make a real difference.
This is a developmental role, designed to help you grow and thrive professionally. To support your success, you will receive structured mentoring, coaching, and professional development over a 6–9 month period from a senior freelance fundraising specialist. This hands‑on support reflects our commitment to nurturing talent and ensuring you feel confident and equipped to progress in your fundraising career.
What you’ll do:
- Research, prepare, and submit high‑quality funding applications to trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies.
- Build and manage relationships with funders and corporate partners, creating tailored proposals and partnership opportunities.
- Monitor grant budgets and ensure compliance with funder requirements and fundraising regulations.
- Support marketing and communications for fundraising campaigns and coordinate corporate fundraising events.
- Engage with the people we support to ensure their voices are represented positively and respectfully in bids and reports.
What we’re looking for:
- Educated to A‑Level standard or equivalent, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Proven experience in charity fundraising, including successful grant applications and corporate partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to craft persuasive proposals.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, results‑driven approach and commitment to our values.
Desirable:
- Institute of Fundraising (IoF) qualification
- Knowledge of CRM systems
- Experience in community‑based fundraising

The ELHAP Volunteer and Community Events Officer will play a pivotal role in enabling ELHAP to achieve its goals - helping us to reach more supporters and raise vital funds through volunteering partnerships and community fundraising events. You’ll be at the heart of building relationships, creating impact, and driving income that directly transforms the support available for children and young people with disabilities.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, the Volunteer and Community Events Officer will be the driving force behind volunteer recruitment, ensuring ELHAP has a thriving network of passionate, well-supported volunteers who feel valued and are making meaningful contributions to our mission. You'll manage the complete volunteer journey - from attraction and onboarding through to retention and recognition - creating rewarding experiences that keep volunteers engaged and motivated.
Alongside volunteer management, you'll take the lead in planning and executing fundraising events that bring our community together, raise vital funds, and celebrate ELHAP's work. You'll also support individuals, groups, schools, and businesses undertaking their own fundraising challenges on our behalf.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, loves bringing people together, and can juggle multiple projects with creativity, energy, and excellent organisational skills. You'll work collaboratively across the team to ensure every volunteer interaction and event strengthens ELHAP's presence and impact in the community.

Ideally, you will bring the following to the role:
- Experience in event planning and delivery, ideally within a charity or community setting
- Experience in fundraising activities or supporting fundraising campaigns
- Experience of volunteer recruitment, management, or community engagement
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices in a youth or community setting.
- Exceptionally well organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Warm, personable, and approachable and able to build strong relationships with volunteers, supporters, and community partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Warm, personable, and approachable with a genuine passion for community engagement and volunteering

You will be part of a small energetic and committed team supporting the delivery of Northamptonshire Community Foundation’s philanthropy and income generation ambitions. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help grow and steward support from individuals, corporate, charitable and statutory donors, with a lead responsibility for a defined portfolio of relationships and initiatives.
Fundraising and relationship building happen across the charity, and you will manage your own portfolio of donors and partners and work with the Chief Executive and wider team to co-ordinate activity, share insight and maximise opportunities for place based philanthropy in Northamptonshire.
