About the role

Donor Relationships

Donation Coordination

- Execute on data entry, data hygiene and data maintenance projects to further the efficiency and accuracy of our donor database (Blue State Digital)
- Manage and respond to supporter queries, record and update non-financial supporter information such as Gift Aid declarations, data protection opt outs, legacy pledges and other personal information in line with the Data Protection policy and GDPR
- Work with colleagues across the organisation to deliver a positive and effective donor experience
- Oversee established team processes aimed at mitigating risk and preventing fraudulent activity in online donations such as card testing, illegitimate refunds, and other risks, working with RI’s risk management team when suspicious activities occur and require investigation
- Update and maintain process documents, communicating relevant information to the team
- Respond to queries from the general public about fundraising activities, work closely with other teams to ensure enquiries are dealt with quickly and effectively maximize fundraising opportunities

As Administrative Assistant Theory Examination, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the successful operational delivery of College examinations, along with contributing to the development and implementation of IT systems and processes to enhance the College’s service.
Acting as first point of contact for UK and overseas examination candidates, the Administrative Assistant is an integral role within the Education and Training Division, in which you will provide effective customer service to candidates from application to the delivery of results.
Reporting to the Theory Examination Lead, you will ensure the accurate allocation of candidates to centres, processing of examination and application entries and processing the payments. You will also check, organise and send results to candidates upon completion.
In addition, you will also assist in the development and implementation of improved systems and processes using new and existing technology/software platforms, including the College website, booking system, databases and exam delivery platforms.

The successful candidate will lead a small, dedicated team of staff that takes care of several functions including, IT, office administration, and HR. You will have the ability to motivate the team and fully support them by rolling up your sleeves and applying your critical thinking & experience to contribute to the everyday operations of the charity. They are a "hands-on" charity, and you must enjoy getting stuck in.
When it comes to the charity's finances you will be the most senior person in the team, maintaining the foundations and be that vital link between the Senior Management Team and the Board of Trustees. You will also work closely with the Chief Executive to help maintain open communications with the Board of Trustees ensuring all regulatory requirements are adhered to.
This role requires someone with proven experience in all areas of finance and administration. As a fully qualified accountant, you will have significant knowledge of financial and management accounting, you will also apply your commercial and pragmatic mind to financial analysis & control, budget management, compliance, data management, and preparing papers for senior management and trustees. You will manage the annual budgeting and re-forecasting processes and be responsible for communicating accurate monthly management information.

Our menu of services continues to flourish thanks to investments and trust placed in us by clients, funders, and partners. We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer who has knowledge and understanding of how charity finance works. You will have a genuine understanding of, and commitment to, the aims and values of the LHP and work effectively alongside the Director to implement the financial policies whilst working to support our dynamic teams.
The Finance Officer will be responsible for preparing financial statements, monthly management accounts, maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll, purchasing, maintaining accounts payable & receivables, budget preparation, and managing office operations.
To input all financial data on QuickBooks Online software, ensuring that authorization and documentation are received from the appropriate members of staff, and filed accessibly.
