- ACA/ACCA qualified or working towards a qualification is highly desirable.

Chain of Hope delivers life-saving cardiac care for children in developing countries. Through a global network of volunteers, medical teams, and supporters, we ensure children receive the surgeries they urgently need.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Fundraising & Donor Care Administrator to join our fundraising team. This role is central to ensuring excellent donor care, accurate income processing, and maintaining high-quality data records. You will work closely with the Donor Care & Supporter Experience Manager to keep operations running smoothly across all fundraising streams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their fundraising or charity operations career who wants to develop their skills within a busy and impactful organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for donor enquiries via phone and email.
- Process donations and send thank-you letters promptly.
- Maintain accurate donor records, including Gift Aid declarations and preferences.
- Ensure data integrity within our CRM (ThankQ), supporting data entry, cleaning, and reporting.
- Assist with income reconciliation and Gift Aid processes.
- Provide administrative support for fundraising events and community fundraising activities.
- Uphold the highest standards of donor care and confidentiality.
About You
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach.
- Comfortable working with data and systems (CRM experience desirable but training provided).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We are recruiting a General Advice Officer to support with the delivery of advice and welfare support to vulnerable guests who access the Community Wellbeing Service, a local support hub offering relief from the rising cost of living for local families. The General Advice Officer will support our guests on a range of areas including benefits, immigration, housing, money management and access to training and employment services. The postholder will provide high quality welfare advice and guidance through weekly one-to-one advice sessions, undertake case work, work with partners to facilitate referrals, and provide support to advice volunteers.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a finance function and support the delivery of accurate, compliant and high quality financial information.

About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will oversee the operational finance function and ensure the organisation maintains accurate, reliable and compliant financial records. You will line manage a team of Finance Officers, lead on financial reporting, support statutory accounts preparation, and ensure all financial processes meet regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing the finance team
- Overseeing all financial transactions and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Maintaining accurate ledgers and control account reconciliations
- Supporting monthly and year end financial statements in line with SORP and FRS 102
- Ensuring timely and accurate month end journals and management accounting
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Preparing annual service charge budgets with budget holders
- Producing audit schedules and working papers
- Overseeing operational finance including accounts payable, receivable, rent accounting, payroll and bank reconciliations
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Providing financial data for grant claims, loan covenant monitoring and other funder requirements
About You
You will be a part qualified Accountant (CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly relating to FRS 102 and SORP. You will bring experience managing a finance team and have excellent attention to detail, analytical capability and a strong understanding of financial controls, compliance and reporting.
Essential experience and skills:
- Technical accounting expertise and experience preparing or supporting statutory accounts
- Previous team management within a finance setting
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory standards
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Role purpose
The Finance Operations Officer is responsible for supporting the finance team in transactional processing, financial administration, and providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
