About the role:

This role is based in our Islington office with the flexibility of hybrid working, travel will also be required to other VS offices across London.

As a Children & Young People's Caseworker, you will be required to:

• Conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments and ensure each CYP receives an individual tailored support package that fully meets their identified needs, including safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Provide one to one support to children and young people living in families affected by domestic abuse.
• Effectively manage a caseload of different risk level cases of approx. 12-15 young people and provide specialist support to reduce the risk and increase safety
• Review the assessment of risk on an ongoing basis, ensuring appropriate and immediate action is taken in respect of any CYP facing significant harm, making the necessary referrals to MARAC and local safeguarding processes as required given the legal framework relating to the protection of children and the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Children's Board.
• To consult with and involve children and young people in making decisions about themselves and the development of the service.
• Establish links with relevant statutory partners in Social Care, Education, Health, Police and Housing, with the intention of supporting children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse. Attend meetings as required.
• To advocate on behalf of children and young people with experience of domestic abuse to ensure the diverse needs of children and young people using the service are met.

You will need to have the following essential skills:

• Experience of working directly with vulnerable children and young people aged 4 - 17, on a one to one basis, with a proven ability to work in creative and appropriate ways to engage with children and young people
• Experience with assessing risk and taking appropriate action to safeguard children and young people experiencing domestic abuse.
• An understanding of the current issues for children and young people experiencing crime, domestic abuse and relationship abuse
• Experience of delivering effective multi-agency and partnership work, including building relationships with statutory and voluntary CYP service providers
• Effective organisational skills, including experience with planning, prioritising, managing crises and a caseload, and maintaining accurate and confidential case records
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, databases, internet and Outlook

The Liberty Church is seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of The Liberty Church’s financial strategy, budgeting framework, and forecasting.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures that strengthen financial governance.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Finance/Accounting (BSc minimum).

About The Role 

The Communications Officer will play a critical role in contributing to and delivering The Phoenix Way’s communications

objectives. They will increase public awareness of the challenges faced by Black and Global Majority communities,

highlight the work of our partners, and influence wider change in the funding sector.

This is a dynamic and varied role, requiring a strategic thinker with excellent storytelling, advocacy, and stakeholder

Job Description

This role reports to the Head of Transactional Finance. The jobholder is one of three people working in the Accounts Payable Team, which is part of the Transactional Finance & Systems function. The Transactional Finance & Systems function is responsible for:

• recording and processing the financial transactions required to support the operations of ABRSM and its subsidiary ABRSM (Publishing) Limited and to enable it to meet its statutory obligations
• the provision of timely and accurate financial management information to departmental budget holders and to the ABRSM's committees.
• Management of the Accounts Payable Team including monitoring the volume of work and allocation of work to two Accounts Payable Assistants, ensuring that deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained.
• General review and oversight of the work carried out by the Accounts Payable Assistants providing leadership, support and training in Accounts Payable procedures as required.
• Ensuring all incoming Supplier invoices are shared between AP assistants and processed for authorisation daily.
• Ensuring Examiner fees are processed for weekly payment runs as set out in with ABRSM's payment policy.
• Ensuing Examiner and HLR expenses are processed weekly for payment.
• Ensuring Suppliers are paid in accordance with their payment terms and ABRSM's approval process.

Additional Information

The Sanctuary (Crisis Café) is a service for all residents experiencing emotional distress. The café is weekdays during the evening and at weekends in the afternoon. We provide initial support meetings both face to face and via the telephone, workign with clients to resolve immediate distress, and explore coping mechanisms. We then coproduce support plans with clients and offer 121’s, counselling, peer support groups and workshops as well as a social place to be.  

The support worker will be experienced in working with people in distress or who have mental health issues, highly organised and have excellent people skills.  A minimum of 3 shifts per week is required.

The service is open 7 days a week:

4.30-10pm Monday – Friday and 12 – 6pm Saturday and Sunday (Barnet)
