Overall Purpose of the Corporate Partnernersips and Philanthropy Manager

The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager is an exciting new role, joining our small and expanding fundraising team.

This new role supports the delivery of our ambitious plans to develop and grow income from corporate partners including pharmaceuticals and major donors.  You will proactively lead on identifying, developing and delivering high and mid value partnerships. Utilising your excellent relationship management, you will think creatively and strategically to develop compelling proposals.

The role holder will work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager and Chief Executive as we establish, develop, and retain these valued relationships.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Finance & Operations to take ownership of all internal operations that ensure the organisation’s effectiveness, accountability, compliance, and resilience. Hours and place of work

• This is a full-time role to be fulfilled over a 35-hour week, ideally within the working hours of Mon-Fri, 9:30am–5:30pm, with flexibility as required.
• This is a hybrid role with one day a week in our shared office space in London (Better Space, 127 Farringdon Road, London EC1R 3DA), the travel costs of which must be covered by the individual. We are open to discussing this arrangement further to accommodate individual needs and preferences.
• Further UK travel will be required on occasion, the costs of which would be covered by Clore Social Leadership.

Terms, pay and benefits

• This is a permanent contract.
• Salary for this role will be ca. £55,000 p/a depending on experience.
• The post holder is entitled to 25 days of annual leave, in addition to UK statutory holidays.
• The office is closed for one week during the winter festive period (25-31 December), providing an additional three days of annual leave in addition to the above allocation.

We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Sessional Worker to support the delivery of services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves two key parts. The first is helping to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is supporting with outreach to local schools, colleges, community settings and professionals to identify and engage Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. You will deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls and aim to identify and engage Young Carers in the community. You will also help ensure young Carers feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. This is a sessional role, therefore hours are not guaranteed but will be offered based on project need.

About this role

The Communications and Media Officer, part of SPANA’s Communications and Campaigns team, creates high-quality content and drives impactful communications to support the charity’s mission and raise the profile of working animals in the global news agenda.

The role involves producing engaging written, digital and visual content across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency with SPANA’s brand and messaging. It also includes managing and cataloguing content assets to support the organisation’s ongoing communications needs. Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week), permanent role. SPANA works on a hybrid basis, with staff required to work for 1-2 days per month (or more if preferred) from our London office. Staff must be based in the UK with the current right to work.

The salary for this role is approximately £33,000 per annum subject to skills and experience. SPANA offers a generous package of benefits to employees, including a pension scheme where SPANA contributes 10% if the employee contributes at least 5%, healthcare cash plan and volunteer day.

Reporting into the Head of Major Gifts, you will be responsible for leading on grant applications from trusts and other grant giving organisations. The grants will often be in the five to six figure range, and will be for a wide variety of activities, including bursaries, the Fonteyn International Ballet Competition, local and national learning and participation projects, and more. You will also be building on existing relationships with grant-giving organisations and help plan fundraising with the Head of Major Gifts and the Director of Fundraising and Development.

As a Trusts and Grants Manager you will:

• have experience in trusts and grants fundraising

• have knowledge of major donor pipeline development

Purpose of the Role: As a key leader within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable income growth through high-impact, strategic and philanthropic partnerships with trusts, foundations and corporate partners.  
 

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Income Development, you will lead the stewardship and growth of existing strategic partnerships, including managing a select portfolio of funders. You will also take a proactive approach to identifying, cultivating and securing new funding opportunities to align with income targets and the charity’s strategy.  

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the charity, you will craft compelling cases for support – placing young people’s voices and experiences at the heart of every proposal. In addition, you’ll help to build and nurture our supporter community through initiatives such as payroll giving, individual giving and corporate community fundraising.

Person Specification (Knowledge, skills and experience required)

Fundraising experience

• Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising role in a charity or similar non-profit organisation  
• Demonstrable experience of stewarding high value partnerships with trusts and foundations and/or corporates  
• Demonstrable experience of writing funding proposals/bids/grant applications and pitching for funding opportunities  

Fundraising knowledge
