About the Role:

This role is crucial in the long-term retention and growth of our partnership revenue streams. The role requires strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills to maintain and nurture mutually beneficial strategic alliances to enhance Urban Synergy’s capacity and reach. The position also provides value to our partners and will ensure our collaborations with businesses, foundations, government agencies, and non-profit organisations are sponsored, supported, and sustainable.

We will be looking for someone who can offer more to really get themselves stuck into Urban Synergy to help grow the company and develop the role into their own.

What You'll Do:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Corporate partners within FTSE 250.

Develop and implement a partnership strategy to enhance financial support and resources for Urban Synergy programmes.

Develop tailored partnership packages that align with the philanthropic priorities and interests of our Corporate partners.

Prepare compelling and professionally written proposals and presentations to potential corporate partners. Ensure they are aligned with the interests of potential partners.

Effectively communicate the impact and benefits of partnerships to prospective sponsors.

Lead negotiations and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Urban Synergy's values and goals.

Work with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.

Collaborate with programme managers to ensure seamless integration of corporate partnerships into Urban Synergy's initiatives.

Provide regular updates to the leadership team on partnership progress and outcomes.

Work closely with the finance team to manage and report on the financial aspects of corporate partnerships.

Ensure budgetary alignment with partnership goals and objectives.

Who we are looking for:

Proven experience in a partnership development or similar role, preferable within the non-profit sector.

Bachelors’ Degree in Business, management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Works collaboratively within a team and also work independently

Comes with ideas and suggestions on how to develop and nurture our partnerships.

Self-starter, who is results-oriented with a track record of achieving fundraising targets.

Is socially dynamic, successful at networking and is able to nurture and maintain positive relationships

Strategic thinking and ability to align partnerships with organisational goals.

Exceptional writing and communication skills and displays a commitment to excellence through careful attention to detail.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Proficiency in fundraising software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

As General Store Manager you will:

• Oversee all aspects of stock collection, preparation and display and look at ways to build stock donations.

• Recruit, manage, and develop staff and volunteers within Scope’s HR and operational policies and procedures and foster an inclusive team working environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and engage with the local community to strengthen ties. 
• Review and implement all relevant Health and safety policies to ensure compliance.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have previous fashion and homeware experience and ideally previous experience of managing a large store footage.
• Be personable and have excellent customer service skills.

• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Be numerate and ensure accurate cash handling, banking, and financial reporting.

Shop hours

It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day. So some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. Our full time hours are 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.

The Role

The Marketing and Communications Manager is a core role. You will work directly with the Head of Content and Communications (HoC) and Creative Content Designer and Animator on the delivery of a communications strategy focused on increasing visibility and impact.

Utilising an excellent understanding of digital marketing and content creation, you will manage the digital and social media channels, leading on the development and delivery of high-quality video, audio and image based content, work on communication strategies to support new research and report launches, and work closely on the production of podcasts including The Sacred podcast.

It will also involve working with the Operations and Events Manager across the online and offline events programme. 

About You

You will have excellent copywriting and content development skills, with the ability to write engaging, audience-focused content across different formats. Highly creative, with the ability to produce compelling multimedia content and oversee production from concept to execution, you will have experience in planning and executing digital marketing and promotional campaigns

You will also have:

· An interest in and/ or experience of podcast production

· Strong organisational and project management skills

· Proven experience of using social media management and Ads manager software (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Podigee, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook ads)

· Experience of using social media reporting tools (e.g. Google Looker Studio) to generate performance insights

· Experience using social media platforms, website content management systems and IT systems including Microsoft Office

· Experience of using video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premier Pro)

· Filming experience with knowledge of mirrorless cameras (e.g. Sony A7iv)

· Experience of using audio editing software (e.g. Logic Pro X, Izotope RX11)

About the role

The DAPO Project Manager will work closely with the DAPO Programme Manager and SafeLives Finance Manager to support the successful delivery of the programme and maintain effective commissioning relationships with service providers across each pilot area. Key responsibilities will include overseeing commissioning contracts, supporting programme implementation, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing regular progress reports to commissioners.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week with flexible working hours and provision of an out-of-hours response as needed.

Location: Remote working. You will be required to travel when the role requires it.

The Role
Join a team to develop the marketing plan for individual online and offline campaigns with all stakeholders.

Manage the approach to audience targeting and segmentation, working with external media agencies for digital and cold direct mail campaigns.

Manage campaign budgets and ensure accurate and complete records are kept.

Research into projects, case studies, production methods and other charities approaches to feed into the creative process.

The Candidate
Experience in direct marketing for a charity.

Clear and accurate written skills and copy editing.

Ability to work at a detailed level as well as develop campaign strategy.

As a Caseworker, you’ll work directly with unpaid carers, providing a vital mix of practical advice, emotional support, and advocacy. From conducting statutory carer assessments to organising support groups and events, your work will ensure that carers feel recognised, valued, and supported in all aspects of their role.
 
You will engage with carers via various channels - phone, email, text, face-to-face, and group settings - ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. This is a multi-faceted role that blends frontline casework with community engagement and strategic development.
 
Main responsibilities of the role include:
 
Direct Support to Carers: 

• Deliver comprehensive carer assessments in line with the Care Act 2014, and co-produce tailored support plans
• Identify and assess eligibility for Carers Personal Budgets and assist with the application process
• Provide accurate and empathetic information, advice, and guidance on carers’ rights, benefits (e.g. PIP, Carer’s Allowance, Attendance Allowance), housing, and local services
• Act as a listening ear and a source of emotional reassurance for carers navigating challenges and crises
• Liaise with Local Authorities, NHS providers, and voluntary agencies to advocate for carers and coordinate support
• Make appropriate referrals and ensure follow-ups are completed

Identification and Outreach: 

• Lead proactive outreach efforts to identify new carers, particularly those from underrepresented or vulnerable communities
• Build and nurture collaborative relationships with GPs, hospitals, primary care teams, and community organisations
• Raise awareness of unpaid carers and the charity’s services through campaigns and community presence
• Contribute to the development of internal strategies and external policies that reflect the needs and voices of carers

Administration & Case Management:

• Maintain high-quality records using internal systems (Charity Log) and the Mosaic Local Authority database
• Register new carers and ensure timely updates to service user records
• Prepare case summaries and contribute to internal and external reports for management, commissioners, and funders
• Ensure data compliance, confidentiality, and GDPR adherence at all times

Team & Organisational Development:

• Act as a lead on specific areas of knowledge (e.g., benefits, outreach) and share expertise across the team
• Attend regular team meetings, supervision, and 1:1s, contributing to a positive and solution-focused culture
• Participate in ongoing training and staff development opportunities

The Successful Candidate:

Experience of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of need
Managing a personal caseload, including detailed case note keeping
Providing advice and support in a frontline or community setting
Exposure to the health and social care sector (voluntary experience welcomed)
Background working within mental health/supportive settings working with vulnerable people
 
Skills and Abilities:
 
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Skilled in using Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems (training will be given on Mosaic)
Excellent verbal and written communication, including report-writing
Creative and proactive with a solutions-focused mindset
 
Knowledge:
 
Familiarity with the Care Act 2014 and its implications for carers
Understanding of welfare benefits (especially PIP, Attendance Allowance, Carers Allowance)
Awareness of housing issues, safeguarding, and equality legislation
Insight into the unique challenges facing unpaid carers and the value of support networks

Global Programme Manager (Lebanon)
£52,744 pa plus excellent benefits

The Programme Manager is an exciting and influential role at RCPCH Global, a specialist unit within the College, in which you will lead the management of our Early Child Development and Disability programme work in Lebanon and the wider Middle East region; you will also be responsible for supporting smaller programme development with our partner, the Paediatric Association of Sierra Leone. Based in our London office, you will oversee the implementation of the programmes, including the delivery of high-quality programme activities.

As Programme Manager, you will monitor and manage all financial and budgetary aspects of the programme in compliance with donor requirements and take the lead on all programme reporting to donors, maintaining and ensuring high-quality programme monitoring and evaluation processes are adhered to. You will also provide strategic/backstopping technical support on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health programme design, budget formulation, financial and activity reporting and M&E with the other members of the Global Team.

Crucially, you will be responsible for liaising with local programme counterparts and stakeholders in the field, which may include regular field visits. You will also take the lead on the recruitment and management of short- and/or long-term programme volunteer clinicians, as well as short-term advisory consultants, for the programme.

You will lead, with the Global Team members, on wider donor liaison, including development of fundraising strategies and target donor institutions, and you will help develop new programme grant agreements, as well as promoting RCPCH Global activities to external stakeholders.

Suitably qualified in international development, public health, international and global health, health systems strengthening and child health, or with equivalent work experience, you should have excellent project/programme management skills and have a background in a relevant international/development management or implementation role. 

With demonstrable experience of designing, initiating and leading complex programme development processes, including with senior government counterparts, local partner organisations and international and multilateral donor agencies, you should have a significant understanding of budget management and financial reporting, including to bilateral and multilateral donors.

Previous experience of successfully managing large complex programmes, including supporting field-programme teams both remotely and in the field, within the international development and/or health sectors is essential, in particular with experience in working with Palestinian communities both in-situ in the West Bank and Gaza, and in other refugee camp environments as well as broader experience of working in developing countries is highly desirable.

Although based in London, this role may include some travel to Lebanon and other countries/regions as required. 

RCPCH Global is a unit within RCPCH which designs and manages a range of international projects and programmes to improve neonatal, child and adolescent health, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Our programmes use teams of skilled clinicians and other health professionals to work with counterparts in targeted low-income countries to train and mentor doctors, nurses and other health workers, as a means of helping to build the capacity and quality of the health systems in those countries. 

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. As our Engagement Lead, you will work with the Head of Wellbeing to review, evolve and drive forward the way we bring young people into our services at OTR.

Alongside your team you will proactively engage young people with the work we do.
