We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser who can work alone and confidently to shape and grow our fundraising income.

At Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove (AUKWSBH), we’re proud of the difference we make but we know we can’t stand still. This is a pivotal role, leading the development and delivery of a sustainable fundraising strategy that supports our mission to help people love later life.

You will initially work alone as we shape and grow the team going forward. You’ll be confident and assertive in working across the different fundraising income streams and with your knowledge and experience, guide us on what we need to do next.

The role involves developing local relationships, a strong understanding of West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and its communities is essential. You’ll spend time in our centres and communities, building connections and raising our profile locally, so applicants must be based in or very familiar with the area.

We're seeking a part time Scheme Manager to join our Specialist Housing team!

Our places are leasehold schemes where residents live independently and Midland Heart manage housing/property related services.

As a Scheme Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Oswestry Road, a leasehold Retirement Living Scheme for over 55s comprising of 26 bungalows residing in the picturesque town of Ellesmere, Shropshire.

As a Scheme Manager, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering an excellent housing management service by ensuring that repairs, grounds maintenance and environmental services are coordinated effectively and delivered to a high standard.
• Ensuring the scheme is safe for residents by completing regular compliance checks including health & safety, building safety & fire safety, in line with regulatory requirements.

As a Store Manager you will manage the day to day running of our Kirkby Stephen Store, leading a team of colleagues to maximise store sales and profits. About You and the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Lead to join our lifesaving charity. As part of the Marketing Communications team, you’ll focus on the delivery of our digital marketing and communication plans, working across the charity to build relationships and help teams meet their engagement and income objectives. You’ll act as an internal account manager for internal digital marketing requests, providing an exceptional stakeholder service.

You’ll be passionate about delivering exceptional online experiences, excited by what’s possible in the digital space and be driven to use insight to shape what you do across a wide range of marketing channels including our website, email marketing and digital ads.

You will work closely with the Head of Digital and Marketing to develop and implement engaging digital marketing strategies that support the strategic goals and ambitions of the charity.

The successful candidate will have experience in project managing, delivering and evaluating multi-channel marketing campaigns for a business or charity.  You will be experienced in managing website updates and be comfortable creating and editing imagery and graphics for use across digital environments.

*This role will be worked a minimum of 3 days a week from our Norwich office and up to 2 days a week from home.  The exact days worked in the office will be agreed with the successful candidate, but you must live within a commutable distance of our Norwich office.

The Data & Research Manager plays a key role in Youth Futures Foundation’s Impact and Evidence team, helping us understand and address youth unemployment in England.

The Torbay Health and Wellbeing Voluntary Sector Network in Torbay is recruiting a full-time Manager to oversee the Torbay Community Helpline.

This post will be based in the local voluntary sector infrastructure organisation - Torbay Communities, hosts of the Community Helpline.  

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead this nationally recognised and acclaimed innovation. Torbay’s Community Helpline was established during the Covid pandemic and has since been developed by the local community into a central access point to the voluntary and community sector as a whole. Since 2021, it has also been the front door for new Adult Social Care referrals in the area through a unique partnership with the local statutory sector. Providing the best possible support to local residents the Helpline’s strapline ‘One Call – That’s All’ sums up the holistic approach. Individuals and families can access a wide range of support from food parcels to mental health support, help with isolation to debt advice etc. The Helpline links into over 100 voluntary sector organisations locally and into grassroots networks of residents offering support to each other. The Helpline has a strengths-based approach to its operations, with callers often helping others after they have received some support.

We are looking for someone who can lead this initiative into the next phase. Someone with the relevant experience who can identify the Helpline’s potential and - working with staff, volunteers, voluntary sector and statutory sector partners - deliver excellent support to our residents and develop the Helpline to meet future needs.
