Role Summary

• The School Engagement Coordinator for Northern Ireland serves as a crucial liaison for the Into Film programme in the region. This role involves actively engaging with schools and educators to promote and support their participation in various initiatives related to film, games, and creative media.
• The Engagement Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring that schools and teachers have access to the full range of educational resources, training, and opportunities offered by Into Film. They will collaborate closely with the Northern Ireland team to provide tailored support and foster meaningful connections between schools, the creative arts, and the industry.

Given the nature of the role, the Co-ordinator may need to work occasional weekends and extended hours, as well as travel regularly to designated regions and occasionally elsewhere in the UK.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Proactively engage with schools, teachers, and educational stakeholders across Northern Ireland to raise awareness of Into Film's programmes and resources.
• Deliver a range of educational activities, including school workshops, screenings and industry events, tailored to the needs of the local area.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with schools, creative organisations, and screen industry bodies to support the delivery of Into Film's initiatives in NI.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of Northern Ireland-specific programmes, including Story Builder, Games, Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression, and Young Creatives.
• Collaborate with teams across Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach to programme delivery, KPI achievement, and budgetary oversight.

Person Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

• Significant experience in designing and delivering engaging educational programmes, including youth workshops and industry-facing events.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Northern Ireland education system, curriculum, and the local creative/screen industries.
• A track record of establishing and nurturing partnerships with schools, organisations, and industry stakeholders.

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Operations Officer to play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of Animal Equality UK’s internal operations and supporter services.

This is a varied role covering administration, finance, data management, supporter care, and event coordination. You will be the first point of contact for many of our supporters and stakeholders, providing excellent service while supporting team members across all departments.

Support health and safety measures for team members and volunteers at peaceful protests, undertaking risk assessments and first aid training. • Data and systems: Conduct database cleansing and maintain accurate supporter, volunteer, and executive records.

The Training Officer will have a range of administrative responsibilities relating to Action Tutoring’s tutor training delivery and curriculum resources.

As Training Officer, you will support the Training Team by scheduling sessions in digital systems, organising and checking ID and DBS documents submitted by volunteer tutors, and responding to enquiries to support a smooth tutor journey. The role does not involve delivering training to volunteers

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa holder (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting Cantonese speaking Employment Advisors to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will provide high quality advice and guidance through 1:1 employability support and group employability workshops with the aim of coaching individuals and supporting them on their journey into employment that suits their previous experience and skill set.

You will prepare participants for employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will monitor and encourage participants’ engagement and attendance in all aspects of the programme. You will provide an exemplary level of support to STEP participants working towards a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of participants including successful delivery of workshops, completion of training courses, volunteering, and achieving and sustaining paid employment. 

The Employment Advisors will work remotely and can be based anywhere in the UK.

About you

• Proven experience or knowledge within the employment sector
