This is a key role in fulfilling CEASE’s aim to drive legislative reform that strengthens accountability, scrutiny and regulation of all parts of the commercial sex industry and other vested commercial interests, which are driving sexual violence, abuse and exploitation. It is about holding the UK government accountable in its duty to protect citizens from high-harm industries, appealing to robust evidence, survivor testimony and a careful critical analysis of the ideological justifications that uphold it.
The work crosses multiple different areas, from policing, online safety and child protection to violence against women and girls (VAWG). It involves close collaboration with experts and partner organisations through strategic partnerships and coalitions, and the building of trusted relationships with MPs, Peers, civil servants and other decision-makers.
This role sits within the Activism strand of CEASE’s strategy, alongside media outreach and commercial advocacy, and works closely with the Chief Executive and Strategic Director
Main Duties and Responsibilities
A. Strategic Leadership

About the role
The Senior Adviser post is a new role to increase capacity within our small and friendly Advice and Information Team. The Senior Adviser will be responsible for delivering high quality, evidence-based, advice and information by email and phone to Coram BAAF members. Our enquirers are primarily social workers at all levels including senior managers, along with associated professionals in health, legal and other areas of children’s social care.
The role will also support our Outbound Permanence Service which provides specialist advice and resources for local authorities across the UK seeking to place a looked after child with relatives overseas, and also offers training and consultancy. Job Purpose:
The Major Donor Officer is an integral part of the Philanthropy team, responsible for managing a portfolio of major donors, principally individuals, giving between £25k-£100k and ensuring their continued support of MSF.

About the opportunity
Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and Head of Philanthropy, you will support a range of fundraising activities, most predominantly researching new avenues for funding within trusts, foundations and corporate partners, completing grant applications, carrying out communications and reporting to existing funders and raising the profile of the charity through representing Action Tutoring at funder or networking events. Duties and responsibilities
- Research new opportunities for Action Tutoring to explore for fundraising and carry out initial enquiries to determine suitability to apply to trusts and foundations.
- Prepare and submit grant applications to suitable trusts, foundations and corporates, carrying out careful research to ensure the applications are as strong as possible and include relevant data and case studies.
- Work alongside the Corporate Partnerships Team to encourage corporate support through donations or grants.
- Identify and lead on local fundraising opportunities in Action Tutoring’s nine key regions, for example researching and submitting applications for local grants and to local businesses.
- Research and determine suitability of profile raising opportunities or awards for Action Tutoring to apply to, such as corporate Charity of the Year opportunities, the Third Sector Awards and Charity Awards.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative and organised Events & Fundraising Officer to join our small, dedicated team. The role involves coordinating event logistics, managing supporter journeys and communications, maintaining our online presence, spreading the word about the importance of the work we do, and helping to develop our fundraising strategy. You’ll also line manage the Events & Fundraising Assistant and play a key role in maintaining LLST’s excellent reputation.

The role
The welfare rights adviser will report to the welfare rights supervisor.
The welfare rights adviser will be supporting people affected by long term health issues with financial challenges, supporting with benefit and housing advice, and referring on for further support where appropriate.
Experience as a welfare rights adviser, including managing your own casework, is essential when applying for this role.
Principal accountabilities / responsibilities: -
Welfare rights advice and casework
· To provide welfare rights advice and casework for people affected by long-term health conditions, including inpatients, outpatients, and carers.
· To work at least two days per week on site, mainly based at the Royal Free Hospital or the Royal Free Charity office
· To provide advice and support primarily on welfare benefits and housing matters (that do not require a solicitor).
· To check whether clients are in receipt of all the benefits they are entitled to and help them claim relevant benefits.
· To help clients understand benefit decisions and challenge them (where appropriate) by way of mandatory reconsiderations and appeals.
· To help clients ensure they keep to their responsibilities in respect of their benefit claims, for example by notifying any relevant changes of circumstances.
· To refer or signpost clients to other agencies or departments as appropriate, e.g., housing solicitors; community care cases involving social services and NHS duties, FCA-regulated debt and immigration services.
· To signpost or refer to other services that might be valuable to a client such as condition specific charities, mental health support, or offerings in the local community that would improve their health and wellbeing.
· As part of this role, there may be some advice given to NHS staff.
· There may also be some involvement in new advice projects
· There will also be some triaging new referrals as part of this role

The Head of Compliance and Building Safety will lead the strategic management and operational delivery of Look Ahead's compliance functions, encompassing Building Safety, Fire Safety, Gas Safety, Water Hygiene, Lift Safety, Electrical Safety, and Asbestos Management.

What you'll do:
* Lead, develop and coach the Compliance and Building Safety team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services.
* Oversee statutory compliance across building safety, fire, gas, water hygiene, lifts, electrical systems, and asbestos.
* Manage service contracts and remedial works, ensuring value for money, regulatory compliance, and minimal disruption to residents.
* Act as the lead reporting officer to external bodies including the Regulator of Social Housing and MHCLG.
* Develop and implement policies and inspection programmes aligned with the Building Safety Act and other legislation.
* Monitor contractor performance, resolve disputes, and ensure health and safety standards are met across all sites, working in collaboration to manage the quality of all fire remedial works completed by external contractors.
