We now have a vacancy for a Senior Policy & Public Affairs Adviser to join our friendly Policy & Public Affairs team. This role is key to driving forward our engagement strategy.  Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring activity across Westminster, Whitehall and other administrations as appropriate in relation to the BPS’s policy and engagement priorities

• Managing the consultation process and producing consultation responses in collaboration with our members and other colleagues 
• Representing the BPS on cross-sector policy groups and in external meetings with politicians and other senior stakeholders
• Building and maintaining relationships across the BPS membership, utilising member expertise and identifying opportunities for members to engage with stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in a policy, public affairs or political capacity, who can demonstrate success in designing, leading and implementing engagement campaigns to achieve wider organisational goals.  It goes without saying that you should have a keen interest in the field of psychology and its impact upon society. Oral and written communication must be your strength, with the ability to influence, engage and build relationships with different audiences and stakeholders.

Waltham Forest Advocacy & Support Services (SASS) provide free and confidential support to survivors of abuse within the community. The teams are made up of professional staff offering short to medium term support to women and men affected by domestic and sexual violence in the community. Our team offer information, advocacy and specialist services to increase safety and meet a range of needs – these can include ongoing safety concerns, emotional or housing support, legal options, reporting to the police, help around child contact, benefits and financial advice. As part of the support we also ensure survivors can access therapeutic support via the Waltham Forest Therapeutic Marketplace. 

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in this busy team for a Duty Worker.  The successful candidate will be responsible in dealing with all incoming referrals and queries to the Advocacy Service. The role will involve processing all referrals, liaising with professionals, establishing initial contact as per the service’s contract requirement. The process of initial contact will involve completing a SafeLives risk assessment, assessing the service user’s practical and therapeutic needs and supporting with any urgent needs that arise during this contact. Additionally, the duty worker will make appropriate referral out, this includes MARAC and complete adult and child safeguarding referrals where required in line with Solace’s policies and procedures. The Duty Worker will maintain and manage any waiting list and will work closely with all members of the team in relation to the allocation of cases and case updates.

About You

Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on service users and their children, and experience of working with women who have experienced domestic and/or sexual abuse. It is essential that you have experience of using Office Excel and case management system. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We are looking to appoint a new Head of Fundraising and Communications to lead a very capable, motivated and collaborative team  and provide strategic leadership to develop an integrated approach between fundraising, communications and athletes/alumni engagement.

Over the last two years we have developed a new fundraising strategy, new partnership models and won an incredibly exciting strategic partnership opportunity that will deliver impact for 60,000 young athletes. The Role

As our Technical Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing a portfolio of processes, apps and technical solutions that will enable our organisation to achieve our goals.

Seeking to connect business needs with technical solutions, you will work across the development lifecycle to develop applications and systems that are user-friendly and efficient.

Working closely with stakeholders, you will gather requirements, design and develop solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint, and oversee system integration and automation projects.

You’ll also manage SharePoint, oversee Power Platform security, licenses and best practice, performance tune and troubleshoot systems and provide first-, second- and third-line helpdesk support.

Additionally, you will:

• Configure SharePoint workflows, build apps, and create Power BI dashboards and reports
• Manage system health checks, permissions, governance, and data integration activities
• Support project management tasks
• Lead on the continuous improvement of our technical platforms

About You

To be considered as a Technical Support Analyst, you will need:

• Experience of supporting business applications in particular SharePoint, Power BI and Power Platform
• Experience of producing business process documentation
• Experience in delivering and executing test plans
• Experience in a programming environment
• The proven ability to lead projects from start to finish

Peabody is launching a brand-new supported housing service in Lambeth for young people aged 19–25. We’re looking for a part-time Housing Support Worker to join this exciting new service and make a real difference in young people’s lives.

You’ll support young adults who have experienced homelessness, trauma, or complex life circumstances—including mental ill health, substance misuse, or time in care or the criminal justice system. This is your chance to help them build independence and a brighter future.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing one-to-one support to a small caseload of young people
