What you’ll do
You will lead on postgraduate recruitment and marketing for the Education and Training division, working with UCL and internal teams. Key duties include creating and delivering marketing plans, managing web and promotional content, organising recruitment events, running social media campaigns, promoting bursaries, tracking recruitment data, and supporting alumni engagement.

Key details

Location: Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

The Global Donor Acquisition Lead is a senior and highly influential role within Save the Children International (SCI). · Strengthen humanitarian acquisition readiness, working in partnership with the Humanitarian Fundraising Lead ensure compelling emergency content and rapid mobilisation strategies are in place, as well as effective journeys towards committed giving to our organization.
· Ensure DRTV excellence and evolution, by driving best practice, coordinating a global community of practice, facilitating shared production of adverts, and exploring opportunities in connected TV (CTV) working in closely collaboration with our digital specialists and global content unit.

· Influence across the movement, acting as a senior thought leader and trusted advisor to Fundraising Directors, Heads of IG, and global stakeholders, with visibility across a significant portion of the global acquisition budget.

Experience and Skills
Essential
1. Significant experience (minimum 5+ years) in strategic leadership roles in large fundraising organisations.
2. Experience of leading the development and implementation of large-scale donor acquisition strategies and strategic initiatives that require deep stakeholder engagement in complex international organisations.
3. Excellent skills across a variety of different acquisition programmes/channels, including DRTV, F2F, telemarketing and digital, including vendor and account management.
4. Ability to analyse complex data sets across multiple channels and markets to identify actionable insights. Adept at understanding market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
5. Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships and work effectively in a multicultural and multi-ethnic environment respecting diversity.
6. Strong personal organisational and self-management skills with the ability to lead and work in teams and to motivate others.

Education and Qualifications

Essential criteria:
- Experience in a government relations, policy or public affairs environment (previous experience of working in Parliament and autonomously with parliamentarians or ministers is highly desirable).
- Operational experience of UK political structures, processes and trends.
- Proven experience of engaging through the policy process – (1) developing policy ideas and (2) responding to consultations, strategy development and call for evidence from parliamentary committees. To do this you are able deploy evidence and stakeholder insight expertly to positively engage government and parliamentary stakeholders with a clearly framed point of view.
- Proven ability to engage working level stakeholders and manage political, ministerial and departmental sensitivities.

Our partner seeks a driven and astute grants finance officer to support in the financial management and monitoring of projects being implemented in Asia, Africa and Latin America. CARIS Families is a small frontline charity that offers holistic support to families experiencing homelessness in hostels in the London Boroughs of Camden and Hackney. Amongst our other services, we run play and learning activities for children aged 0-16 from within 4 hostels in these boroughs, as well as a school holiday day trip programme. Our services for children aim to reduce the stress on children and parents of living in overcrowded, insecure accommodation, and to put back essential childhood experiences that homeless accommodation deprives children of.
The services we currently offer our families in hostels are:
- Kids Club: an after-school play club in term time for 0-16s, run from our dedicated play club in the basement of one family hostel in Camden.
- Enrichment Trips and Summer Programme: a series of day trips for groups of families from our 4 hostels in the school holidays. We take part in exciting activities and visit interesting destinations round London and the South-East, to ease the pressures of being stuck in the hostel during the long school breaks.
- Essentials Bank: Our Essentials bank runs weekly in term-time from two of our hostels, offering families free hygiene products such as toiletries, nappies, washing powder etc. to ease the pressure on family finances at a difficult time.
- Family Support Work and Housing Casework: we offer holistic casework to support families to ease the stress of their situation, from working on finances to supporting employment searches, to assisting with legal cases and supporting them to navigate their housing case and move out of homelessness as soon as possible.
