This is a permanent, remote working role with a salary of £29,757 per annum, pro rata. We welcome applications for 40 hours full time or 32 hours (0.8 full time equivalent) including breaks. Your responsibilities will include recording transactions, processing invoices, expense claims and grants, administering the charity’s bank accounts, payroll, and audits.

The role
As Forward Action’s Partnerships Officer, you’ll support the Partnerships Director to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners, so we can help them achieve change on everything from climate change to refugee rights.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage the administration side of our partnerships, from initial contact and briefing, through proposal management, all the way to issuing contracts and drafting scopes. You’ll work across multiple projects and deadlines, managing processes, organising meetings, following up action points, and keeping accurate partnership records.
You’ll champion the partner experience and ensure we always deliver value. This includes meeting with organisations to explore their goals, and briefing colleagues on new partners’ needs. You’ll also lead on our marketing and webinar programme, coordinating plans and working with colleagues and freelancers to deliver outstanding content.

The Supporter Donations Queries Team at Macmillan are looking for x2 Supporter Donations Assistants to play their part in helping Macmillan's supporters and stakeholders do whatever it takes for people living with cancer. We have two roles available within our Supporter Donations Queries Team. Whether you are a recent graduate looking to gain customer care experience within a large, complex, and successful charity or you are seasoned supporter/customer care or administrational professional looking to broaden your experience and are keen to contribute to the work of a busy, friendly, and high-performing team, or whether you are looking to change your career and have the skills needed to excel in a customer service role, we want to hear from you.
You’ll be processing high volumes of income and inputting donations on our income system, resolving queries from our supporters & internal stakeholders, sending personalised thank you letters and helping to process Gift Aid sponsorship forms. In addition, you will undertake a range of admin duties in general support of the smooth and effective operation supporter donations as a whole, here at Macmillan.
You will liaise with stakeholders across the organisation including our Finance team, colleagues across Supporter Care, Relationship Fundraising Managers and product teams in order to accurately thank and process supporter donations received by Macmillan across all channels. Including processing online event registrations & donations, revalidating eligible Gift Aid, cleansing data and addressing all queries related to donations. You will be delivering recognisable, high quality Macmillan experiences in line with Brand and Strategy guidelines and messaging.
Initial training is due to be delivered in the London office - arrangements to be discussed dependent on contractual location.

As part of the Trusts and Institutional funding team of four you’ll work alongside the Head of Trusts and Institutional, Trusts Manager, Trusts Executive and the new Trusts and Institutional Funding Executive. The main task of the Institutional Funding Lead is to secure funding from UK-based institutional donors, with a primary focus on the FCDO.
You will drive forward dynamic and proactive engagement strategies directly with UK-based institutional donors and indirectly through consortia, as well as developing and supporting organisational positioning for contracts and grants.
This role will introduce innovative and agile funding approaches and models to enhance War Child UK’s competitiveness in a complex donor environment. - Develop and strengthen a network of contacts with relevant representatives from UK institutional donors and partners, primarily FCDO, institutional foundations and INGOs, to enable consortia to develop and grow.

About the role:
Kinship are seeking to recruit experienced event co-ordinators with a whole range of skills and great energy to join our brand-new training team. They will be responsible for delivering this first ever programme of its type supporting kinship carers across England in their caring role.
As a pivotal part of the team, you’ll be supporting delivery of high-quality in-person and online training events across England. You’ll be the first point of contact for the team and be experienced and responsive in dealing with enquiries. You’ll be used to working with suppliers and have proven experience of planning, co-ordinating and supporting the delivery of large events. You’ll bring significant working experience of using Microsoft tools, and other platforms and technology including Zoom. You’ll have a positive, can-do approach and the ability to work with initiative, being curious and always thinking ahead to anticipate need and deal with issues.
Collaboration will be key to your approach, and you’ll be detail orientated and be great at managing your time and priorities, and working to consistently high standards. You’ll plan, co-ordinate and support the successful delivery of all our online and in-person events, including being available and involved as needed on site.

YMCA West Sussex Transitional Housing provides safe, secure accommodation for young people aged 18-25, who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. Our staff team comprises of Supported Housing Support Workers, Housing Mobile Night Workers and two Supported Housing Managers. We offer a support package alongside the accommodation to actively encourage residents into education, training, employment or voluntary work.
In delivering the role, you will work with the Deputy Supported Housing Manager and the wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our transitional accommodation service. You will have your own caseload of residents, working creatively and effectively alongside young people to develop their assets and talents and to acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the service by providing consistency and reliability. You will have a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. You will also support young people to safeguard themselves against abuse and risk. There will be times when lone working will be a requirement for this role.
This role is based on site in Horsham and will cover Transitional services across Horsham, Crawley, Burgess Hill and Worthing. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable in leading and co-ordinating a team. You will lead and operationally manage the department in our external business development engagement activities as well as our internal, cross-departmental collaboration working towards our ‘Evolve Strategy’.

a) Completing current procedure for Carers’ Assessments and to support Carers through the Assessment process.
b) Offering Carers the opportunity to take up other services offered by KCC such as coffee mornings and Holistic Therapies.
c) Providing an empathetic and supportive ear to Carers about the difficulties they may be experiencing. Remind carers that we are here to provide a listening ear and offer our counselling service if appropriate.
d) To signpost Carers to relevant voluntary and statutory organisations.
2) Keep up-to-date with services, benefits and organisations relevant to Carers.
3) To assist in the promotion of the work of the organisation by use of media, talks, presentations, displays etc.
4) Make links with relevant statutory and voluntary organisations.
5) Use any of the above opportunities to identify hidden Carers and
Casework
1) Work on behalf of Carers both by phone and in writing to help them to obtain the services they need.
2) Make home-visits as necessary to carry out this aspect of the work and initial support to new carers via home visit with the agreement of line manager.
3) Liaise with other advice/advocacy organisations to develop and maintain referral systems.
4) Complete all the necessary administrational tasks related to the role including updating all contacts on the database.
Groups and Events
1) Setting up, administering and facilitating Carers Support Groups.
2) Organise outings and events for Carers. To liaise with the manager to raise small funds to assist with one to one support or group support.

Administration and Monitoring
1) Complete contacts on the database for every interaction with each carer. All phone calls, drop ins, home visits letters, emails and texts to have a separate contact.
2) Ensure attendees at group events whether in house or at another venue complete the signing in sheet. Complete the register for these events on the database if requested to do so.
3) Add names to waiting lists for trips and events following the standard procedure. Make appointments for carers to attend holistic therapies following the standard procedure.
4) Write up case studies and other reports as requested by line manager.
5) To be primarily self-servicing including word processing letters, keeping appropriate records of work undertaken, write reports and complete monitoring forms.
6) All of the above are necessary for management to produce statistics and other monitoring reports to comply with funders requests outlined in the main contract and other sources of funding.
General Tasks
1) To work as part of a team contributing to the smooth and effective running of Knowsley Carers Centre.
2) To produce articles for the Carers Centre newsletter and to distribute
to various establishments around Knowsley.
