About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Development Officer to join our small, dedicated Development team. In this pivotal role, you will:

· Contribute to individual giving fundraising activity across the department

· Support the strategic direction of the department by helping with the retention and recruitment of Patrons

· Support the management of international giving, including the US Patrons programme

· Support the organisation and delivery of Library events

· Build your knowledge and experience of legacy giving, stewardship and other fundraising processes to make a meaningful impact on the achievements of our small team.

About You

You are an enthusiastic professional with:

· GCSEs (A–C) in Maths and English or equivalent.

· Experience in a supporter/client-facing role and in administration within a busy team.

· Interest in fundraising and knowledge of best practices in the sector.

· Clear, courteous communication in person, by phone, email, and letter.

· Ability to write accurate, grammatically correct correspondence.

· Strong attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism.

We are seeking a part-time Money Skills Coordinator to help us deliver our ambitious plans to equip more individuals with money skills. The primary purpose of this role is to manage Crosslight’s money skills courses that are attended by the local community as well as our debt advice clients. These are delivered online or in-person in a range of different locations across our network.

The role holder will take ownership of the planning and running of our money skills workshops, including setting them up on our systems. They will also act as a ‘champion’ for the courses, promoting them internally and externally, including through community engagement and outreach in different locations. And they will have the opportunity to deliver some of our workshops, as well as supporting and equipping our volunteers to do so to a high standard.

About the role

In this role you will be part of the Health & Care Quality team, providing administrative and organisational support to the clinical team, which includes nurses, therapists and counsellors.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Manage all referrals from centralised inbox, prioritising and forwarding referrals to the relevant team member, or to direct enquiries to more appropriate services if necessary.
• Assess need of each referral and discuss with ‘on call’ nurse/counsellor if it appears urgent or guidance required to establish need.
• Ensure all relevant service user information is available. Calls sometimes required to establish this.
• Input into database (CRM). Ensure information remains updated and relevant.
• Refer to appropriate nurse/ therapist / counsellor according to region.
• Overview that referrals are responded to in a timely manner.
• Manage the Counselling referrals on the CRM including adding clients, updating status and setting up respective client files on the public drive.
• Contact those waiting to access SIA’s counselling service as required, to reassess need and inform of offers or initiatives.
• To liaise between the team and referrers to arrange face-to-face visits as required.
• Admin support with stock level, ordering and distribution of leaflets, booklets, emergency medical cards.
• Arrange and minute internal meetings and training sessions.

Overview

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

The aim of the Interpersonal Trauma Service is to improve the health, wellbeing and safety of people who have been exposed to trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse.

You will work across a specified number of GP practices, to offer support to health professionals working in practices, people who have experience of interpersonal trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse, as well as a service for people at risk of perpetrating abuse.

You and the team will provide training to GP surgeries to improve identification, enquiry, and response for patients. You and your team will also support adults and children who have been impacted by interpersonal trauma with emotional and practical support, focusing on trauma stabilisation. The team will be responsible for facilitating timely access to further appropriate support services where needed.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel to GP practices and for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.

This role may include evening and weekend work when required.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide specialist, individual and needs-led domestic abuse and sexual violence advocacy and support to patients who are or have experienced, who are referred from participating practices or self-refer, and to provide onward referrals where appropriate.

Working as part of the Global Impact team, our Global Outcomes function catalyses positive change for children by driving influencing agendas and bringing knowledge, evidence, analysis and expertise to our partnerships, programmes and advocacy work.   

 The Education Team works as part of the Global Save the Children movement and the wider sector to drive long lasting systems changes at the global and country levels. The team's purpose is to drive impact to deliver equitable rights (outcomes) in education for boys and girls through participatory, inclusive and collaborative thought leadership and technical expertise to influence financing, policy and practise.

About the Role 

Working 3 days a week and reporting to the Head of Education, you will work closely across the teams in SCUK and the wider movement in line with our strategy and policies in our global education priorities. 

As a Senior Education Policy & Advocacy Advisor, you will provide global leadership within your area of expertise (Education) to shape and drive shared advocacy and impact agendas across Save the Children and the wider sector. You will develop and deliver high-quality policy and influencing strategies, fostering innovation and inclusivity and contributing to systemic change. In this role, you will build strategic relationships with key decision-makers, lead capacity strengthening for colleagues and partners, and champion equality, inclusion and the shifting power agenda.

Key Accountabilities 

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

• Being our key representative in the Send My Friend to School coalition, including being an active member of its Policy and Parliamentary Working Group and potentially its Steering Group  dependent on your experience. This the UK's global education coalition of international development NGOs and teachers' unions, bringing together young people, politicians, teachers, civil society and the media to campaign for quality education for all children across the globe. Its focus is to influence the UK Governments financing and policies related to global education.

• Lead the movements influencing in support of the Global Partnership for Education replenishment campaign which aims to raise $5 billion from donors in 2026, as well as partner government commitments on domestic education financing. You will work closely with colleagues across the movement to influence their governments, as well as lead the work to ensure a significant pledge from the UK Government. 

• Provide global leadership in other areas of global education to shape and drive shared advocacy and impact agendas across Save the Children and the wider sector. 

This is an important time to take up this role. The UK Government has stated that it plans to deprioritise its work on global education as part of its significant aid cuts in 2027. The inspiring Send My Friend to School coalition has developed an impactful UK schools campaign, youth campaign champion network and strategic policy and advocacy approach aiming to protect the education aid budget. Similarly a successful replenishment campaign for the Global Partnership for Education is vital for maintaining multi-year, transformative investment into education systems.     

About You 

We are looking for someone with the following experience, competencies, and skills: 

• Strong track-record in designing and implementing successful influencing strategies with minimal supervision, drawing on analytical skills to identify political and other barriers to change and prioritise from the range of possible objectives and approaches.

• Very high-level expertise in the global international development and child rights policy landscape and institutions, coupled with deep expertise in Education

• Very strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to have resonance with and influence particular audiences.

• Ability to network and represent Save the Children externally, including facilitating and speaking at high level events and meetings and doing media interviews

• Strong track-record in policy analysis and development, with ability to draw on different sources of information and ideas from partners and children to generate relevant policy positions and solutions that will have cut through with target audiences.

• Strategic thinker driven by impact and evidence, curious to keep up to date with new ideas and innovations, and sees the positive potential in change

• Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and authenticity that enable effective communication with different audiences

•    This role is key to ensure detailed record keeping is maintained.

Strategic Leadership

 Gaming Group Wish

 Partnership Development:

Wishgranting:

The sexual and reproductive health (SRH) workforce is comprised of doctors, nurses and allied practitioners who deliver high quality care across the UK and beyond. The CoSRH Membership and Workforce Assistant will support the needs of this workforce, supporting the delivery our Workforce Action Plan in partnership with the Director of Membership, Marketing and Digital and the Vice President of Membership and Workforce. You will lead on the administration of regular committee meetings in the Membership and Workforce portfolio, support the progress of key initiatives and coordinate responses to workforce-focused queries from our membership.

The role reports into the Director of Membership, Marketing and Digital.

The role:

Administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council

• Lead on administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council and its sub-committees, including setting meeting dates, sending invitations, preparing papers, taking minutes and actions, and dealing with queries.
• Supporting with actions arising from the Board, including supporting the development of projects and programmes as directed by the Board.
• Supporting the Direct of Membership, Marketing and Digital in coordinating responses to queries from the Membership and Workforce Board of Council.

Administration of key workforce processes  

• To act as the main point of contact for clinicians looking to recruit new SRH professionals

o and require representation from the CoSRH on relevant interviews

• Respond to workforce-focused member queries

 Administration and support of the CoSRH Mentoring Scheme

• To act as a key point of contact and support for our forthcoming mentoring scheme, resolving member queries and ensuring the smooth running of the scheme.
• Provide support as a system administrator, using dedicated member mentoring software to ensure a high-quality mentoring experience.

Other tasks as directed by the Director of Membership, Marketing and Digital
