We also run the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline and work with individuals, communities, businesses, governments, other charities, and statutory agencies to stamp out slavery for good. 

Salary: £32,500 per annum (pro-rated for part time hours). We are an accredited member of the Living Wage Foundation. 

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time/ 37.5 hours per week (Part time may be considered for the right candidate). Evenings and weekend work occasionally required.

Location: Hybrid or remote (Hybrid approach with some working from home days. A degree of flexibility will be required).

Purpose of the role:

The purpose of the Business Sales Marketing and Communications role at Unseen is to support businesses and organisations across various sectors in developing and enhancing their approaches to modern slavery. This role is integral to Unseen's mission of building capacity and capability within the business community and equipping them with effective solutions through advice, training and consultancy. The ideal candidate will be able to develop compelling marketing campaigns, generate strong leads, and analyse campaign results to inform future activities. They will have strong B2B experience and have the skills to create content and deploy across a range of channels.

Role Overview 

Support Through Sport CIO is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to deliver our innovative School and Community Navigator programme throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The Senior School and Community Navigator will lead a team of three Navigators across four schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The role combines direct support to children and young people aged 10–17 with leadership and coordination responsibilities, ensuring delivery is of the highest standard and in line with Support Through Sport policies and project specifications.

Working closely with schools, families, and local agencies, the Senior Navigator will provide supervision and guidance to staff, build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure effective safeguarding, monitoring, and reporting systems are in place. You will work with young people aged 10–17 in community settings, building trust-based relationships and providing early intervention to reduce risk factors linked to crime, violence, and exploitation.

The role combines youth work, mentoring, and community engagement, supporting young people to tackle challenges such as disengagement in education, substance use, poverty, discrimination, and school exclusion. You will act as an advocate for young people, bridging gaps with the wider community while promoting respect, empowerment, and positive life choices whilst working utilising a child-centred and collaborative approach.

At Support Through Sport, we use a range of creative approaches, including sport as a diversionary tool, to build brighter futures and create safer communities. Flexibility is essential, as sessions may take place during evenings and weekends, in addition to typical school hours. Job description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team of 28 staff, ideally before the end of 2025.

This is a hybrid role of 3 to 4 days a week with a minimum of 2 days a week based at the office in Talgarth, LD3 0BW.

We offer flexibility around working hours, with the expectation of trustee meeting attendance 3 times a year, and weekly management and team meetings on-site over 2 days. We offer 24 days holiday (pro rata), plus 8 statutory public holidays (not pro rata). The starting salary is £60,000 (pro rata) plus a 6% employer pension contribution on a salary sacrifice scheme.

The CFO works alongside the Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer to manage the finances and governance of The Wye and Usk Foundation (WUF), a conservation charity with an annual income between £1.5m and £2m.

Given the retirement of the current postholder at the end of 2025, we are seeking a well-qualified and experienced individual to take on this senior leadership role as soon as possible to enable handover to occur.

The role is very varied and wide-ranging, including presenting financial information and management accounts to the trustees and senior management on a monthly basis, maintaining annual budgeting, appraising internal project budgets and contracts, preparing annual statutory accounts in line with the Charity SORP and liaising with external auditors, and managing the VAT requirements for the organisation on a partial VAT basis.

The postholder will lead a team of three in the finance department and join a very knowledgeable and welcoming team of 28 highly engaged and passionate staff at WUF.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Working alongside the CEO, the CFO will provide commercial, financial and governance management and leadership for WUF. The CFO will not only be an exceptional accountant, with executive oversight of the finance function, but will be commercially astute and have the confidence to represent robustly the best interests of WUF. The CFO will also be an experienced manager of people.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Act as a business partner to support and constructively challenge the CEO in the general management of WUF, reporting to the trustees.
2. Lead all aspects of the finance function (including maintaining and developing the financial control environment; robust financial accounting; cashflow management; incisive management information; clear and concise reporting to the trustees) to ensure that the Charity and the Companies’ assets are secured, risks are managed, and the Board of Trustees can make well-informed decisions.
3. Manage relationships with auditors, funders, banks, investment platforms (with assistance from the trustees), and other external organisations.
4. Provide support to project bids and the development of other commercial opportunities to ensure that bids/opportunities are optimised for WUF.
5. Provide input to project and programme delivery from time to time, to ensure that performance is maximised for WUF.
6. Attend trustee meetings and Finance and General Purposes Committee meetings to guide the Board of Trustees and the Senior Management Team on financial, commercial and governance issues.
7. Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Charity Commission and Companies House and, from time to time, provide guidance to members of WUF on good governance practice.

1. Lead, manage and develop the finance team and ensure the team understands their respective and collective contribution to achieving the Charity's objectives.
2. Support the team in their professional development.

Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research and provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.

The Taskforce for Lung Health (the secretariat for which is provided by Asthma + Lung UK) is a collaboration of the largest ever group of organisations and individuals who have come together, as a team, to improve lung health. Our primary goal is to elevate the importance of lung health within the NHS. The Taskforce has over 50 members including patients, carers, healthcare professionals, the voluntary sector and professional associations. An Industries Forum working alongside the Taskforce includes representatives from the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, devices and digital industries. 

Senior Policy and Engagement Officer – Taskforce for Lung Health

This role will support the Taskforce to deliver its ambitious programme of activity for 2026, working collaboratively with members and partners to deliver meaningful change for people with respiratory conditions.  You will lead and drive forward Taskforce policy and influencing work across priority areas, producing high-quality evidence-based outputs, working in collaboration with Taskforce members and partners, including patients, clinicians, other charities and corporate partners. You will develop the Taskforce’s engagement strategy, identifying opportunities to increase engagement and harness the potential of our collective endeavours to drive improvements in care for people with respiratory conditions, building strong working relationships with key stakeholders. This role can be either Office based or Remote based.

Senior Policy Officer – Asthma + Lung UK

Reporting to the Health Policy Manager, you will carry out proactive policy and influencing work across a range of health policy areas related to NHS services, treatment and care for lung conditions. You will work closely with other policy team members to influence change, and draft impactful policy positions and recommendations, using research, patient experience, clear analysis and strong arguments. You will work with a range of important external stakeholders, building strong relationships and influencing positive change. This role is Office based only.

You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise your workload efficiently. You will have experience of developing robust policy positions and campaigning for policy change. You will be proactive and able to manage your workload independently, able to communicate complex issues to different audiences, and work collaboratively with a range of teams and external stakeholders. You will be comfortable managing multiple deadlines and adapting to changes in the external policy environment.

- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and membership of a relevant professional body

 At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for an Operations Director to join the Oasis Youth and Community national leadership team supporting local Oasis community charities across the country.

With accountability to the CEO the Operations Director will be responsible for three key areas of work:

1. Lead key elements of policy and systems ensuring the Youth and Community function remains safe and compliant, and that local leaders and other key staff are effectively supported (including line management of People Services).
2. Oversee the effective governance oversight for all local charities through a cycle of professional guidance and monitoring.
3. Lead the national framework for monitoring and evaluation across activities.

About the role:

EJF seeks a dynamic and highly organised individual to join our expanding Environmental Defenders (ED) programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we scale up support for grassroots leaders who protect our planet and defend interlinked human rights.

Working closely with the Global Programme Coordinator, the ED Programme Officer will enable EJF to deliver tailored training on advocacy, investigation, and filmmaking to environmental defenders worldwide. This starts with supporting the coordination of our new Ocean Defenders project alongside EJF’s teams in Southeast Asia and West Africa.

As an effective multitasker and skilled coordinator, you will lead the operational and logistical elements of our capacity-strengthening programmes. You will build and maintain strong relationships with our partners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, tailored support. The role requires excellent planning abilities, a strong attention to detail and a passion for helping others.

This position offers significant room for growth and learning. The successful candidate will be given opportunities for development such as participating in training projects overseas and growing project management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

Taking instruction and guidance from the Global Programme Coordinator (and in her absence, a named member of the Senior Management Team), the Environmental Defenders Programme Officer will:

● Plan and organise in-person (and remote) support for environmental defenders – leading on scheduling, budgeting, logistics and other administrative elements of the EJF support.

● Support the implementation of the capacity-strengthening programme, following up with colleagues and partners to ensure continuous progress towards deliverables.

● Coordinate with environmental defenders (grassroots NGOs and other civil society leaders) – maintaining relationships with focal points, collecting feedback, and monitoring support needs.

● Contribute to the implementation and improvement of the monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) processes, to measure the programme’s impact, the quality of the support provided and adapt to  emerging needs and priorities.

● Support with creating new and streamlining internal processes – developing templates, centralising training materials, and facilitating the sharing of lessons learned across teams. 

● Assist with production of reports to funders and in securing new and additional funding for the programme.

● Support communications efforts on the Environmental Defenders programme, drafting impactful content for the website, sharing successes with the EJF comms team and identifying other opportunities to improve the programme’s visibility.

● Ensure that digital images from the Programme and from partners are logged in the EJF image library and utilised effectively to drive engagement in the programme.

● Conduct research and participate in networking opportunities to identify potential organisations and individuals to join and benefit from the Environmental Defenders Programme.

● Liaise between partners and EJF’s finance function to ensure that activities are delivered within budget, delivering value for money.

Essential experience and skills:

● Experience coordinating logistics for international trips, events or complex projects.

● Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with partners (NGOs or others) from different cultures and across time zones.

● Experience in managing complex schedules and meeting deadlines.

● Experience with budget management (planning and reporting) and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

● At least two to three years’ professional work experience in a relevant field (e.g. environmental action, human rights, international development, project management, etc.)

The Community Forest Trust (CFT) supports, enables and champions the work of England’s Community Forests, who are the leading woodland creation network in England. We provide a range of support services for the forests including finance functions, payroll and accountable body for funded projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance and Operations Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with the organisation’s financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in a finance role, competency with accounting software and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.

You will also provide support to the CFT Managing Director and team, including diary management, booking travel and accommodation, supporting project delivery and arranging meetings and events. Key Responsibilities

Finance Work

• Check, process and record payments in accordance with agreed procedures, administer invoices and expenses claims received, ensuring they are forwarded for authorisation in a timely manner, correctly coded and posted on the finance system
• Prepare purchase invoices, add to the payment spreadsheet ready for weekly payment run processing
