Our People Operations Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of our people processes, systems, and administration, ensuring that they are fully fit for purpose. Reporting to the People Director, you will be joining a highly supportive and friendly People Team, committed to working together to provide a high-quality and responsive service to the organisation.
While your main focus will be our UK people operations, you will also engage with our country offices around the world, developing an understanding of their people operations and working with them to maximise efficiency across the organisation.
The role is varied including optimising people processes and systems, managing and developing our global HRIS, configuring and rolling-out new systems/modules (e.g. global ATS, UK payroll), overseeing UK and international payroll administration and UK pension and benefits, managing our UK business sponsorship licence and sponsor duties, ensuring a high-quality information and reporting service to internal stakeholders, and working on global people projects and initiatives.
You will have substantial experience managing people operations at a similar level, developing, implementing and managing systems, processes and administration relating to all stages of the employee life-cycle. You will be comfortable configuring, managing and maintaining a HRIS. You will have a thorough understanding of UK payroll processes and UK pension regulations, as well as a thorough understanding of UK employment and immigration law. Experience as a SMS Level 1 User is desirable and experience managing a global HRIS would be an advantage.
You will have excellent people management skills and will enjoy collaborating and consulting with colleagues around the globe to understand their needs as we strive for continuous improvement. Your interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to build effective and productive working relationships with colleagues at all levels across Fauna & Flora.
You will have a methodical and rigorous approach to work and a meticulous attention to detail. Excellent numeracy and data analysis skills are also essential, as is knowledge of data protection legislation and fluency in spoken and written English.

The Role
What will I be doing?

Camp Jojo is currently in transition. Over the first 8 years it has worked from one established site in Mersea, Essex; but we are now opening a second site near Appleby in Cumbria. The role of Program Manager will work across the whole organisation, towards the successful development of the values and the proven model in a second site; and its partnership with the Essex site will be an important part of the role.
Camp Jojo is growing from a young, largely trustee led, organisation to a staff team led organisation. Again this role will be a fundamental part of that transition. This is a predominantly an operational post, and not responsible for the finances of organisation, though it will deliver operations within the board approved budget. They will also sit on, or chair, several of the Committees of the charity; including the Senior Operations Team.
The role will offer leadership to key functions of Camp Jojo, Camp Jojo staff and contractors, and to members of the Camp Jojo Board, in relation to the work of the charity. Whilst the majority of the work will be remote the incumbent will be required to attend some meetings and events in person, including at both sites. They will also be required to attend at least part of the actual camp events. They may need to work flexibly, according to the seasonal demands of the charity.
The Program Manager will have a varied and sometimes high-pace job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, interact professionally with the Camp Jojo community and be very good communicators. They will deal with model consistency, values, and operational issues across both sites.

About the role
As a Senior Direct Marketing Manager in the team, you will take the lead in driving the strategic development of the Individual Giving programme forward, using supporter insights and data to deliver outstanding supporter experiences at every touch point across both online and offline channels.
You’ll be a leader in the team, managing both your direct report and matrix teams to deliver multiple projects at the same time. You’ll also manage significant income and expenditure budgets and deliver exceptional fundraising campaigns to maximise income opportunities which will help more people and families secure a safe home.
About you
We're looking for a strategic and collaborative leader to shape and deliver our Individual Giving programme, driving supporter engagement across acquisition, retention, and innovation. You'll lead a talented team and agency partners – including face to face agency campaign management, to create inspiring, multi-channel campaigns that build long-term supporter relationships and maximise income. With responsibility for planning, budget management, and insight-driven campaign delivery, you'll champion cross-team working and foster a positive, inclusive team culture – helping Shelter grow its impact through evidence-led, supporter-focused fundraising.

This post sits within the Individual Giving team, which is responsible for delivering a diverse programme of work with ambitious income targets that support our organisational strategy, across cash, regular giving and lottery products. · A degree or equivalent experience in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
· Significant experience in editorial roles within publishing, journalism, communications, or similar.
· Exceptional writing skills and editorial judgement and the ability to transform complex ideas into clear, compelling copy.
· Confidence in coaching others and building editorial capacity across teams.
· High attention to detail and a strong grasp of inclusive writing, proof-reading, plain English, and accessibility principles.
· A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

¨ Working with colleagues in other teams to create a culture where community engagement is at the heart of everything we do.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager
Location: Based within the Non-residential service in Wembley, working within communities, homes, and other residentials. This service does have step free access.
