The role
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficiency of our HR operations and the smooth running of our office. You will provide administrative support across the full spectrum of the HR employee life cycle, from recruitment through to retirement, and ensure our office is a professional and welcoming space for staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Administration duties related to day to day operations of the HR function; including recruitment, new starter onboarding, staff development support and training coordination.
- Maintaining employment records and updating internal databases.
- Monitor and maintaining stationery stock levels, office stock and kitchen supplies.
- Serving as the initial point of contact for all employee-related queries.

The District Administrator is the first port of call in the District office and acts as an essential point of contact for all 19 Circuits and their Churches within the District.
The District Administrator will work collaboratively with the Senior District Administrator and be proactive with good organisational skills.
The role will provide administration support in a number of areas to support the Senior District Administrator, with emails, setting up meetings, maintaining records and databases.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for incoming emails, telephone calls and meeting and greeting visitors.
- Accurate and effective use of information management systems including general office filing, electronic file management, scanning, archiving, databases, other electronic records, spreadsheets and hard copy paper records, regularly updating as required.
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the District Directory and databases.
- Assist with the administration for representative and presbyteral synod.
- Managing and ordering office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintaining office equipment, i.e. photocopiers and printers for smooth office functionality
- Communicate meetings and agendas to attendees. Take minutes when required and arrange lunches and refreshments.
- Assist with the management of the District Zoom accounts.
- Any other duties and responsibilities identified by the Chair and the Senior District Administrator as are within the capabilities and level of responsibility of the role in order to meet the needs of the District.

Office Administrator - Donor Communications and Volunteer Liaison
Friends of the Holy Land are looking for an energetic, dedicated individual to join our fast-moving, growing charity.
Friends of the Holy Land has a small network of volunteer supporters around the country and an expanding number of financial donors. This new role will be responsible for communicating with these two communities, with a focus on preparing monthly emails to supporters, monitoring and moderating social media accounts, liaising with external partners to deliver external communications, developing donor stewardship and growing our volunteer network.
The role will also be required to help with regular office duties and will need to be familiar with all aspects of administrative support for the operational success of the charity. You will need to be comfortable working in a faith-based organisation, talking to supporters across the UK and with our partners in the Holy Land, and be competent in creating communications.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Office experience

The Office Coordinator position is responsible for the general day-to-day operations of the London, UK office. Due to the nature of this position, work must generally be performed within a 30 hours / week timeframe (M-Fri). This role is an in-office role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, with other duties upon request:
· General administration as required: call handling and forwarding, front door access controls, post management, post requests, staff access, etc.

· Ensure the payment of facilities invoices within payment deadlines, including invoice tracking and coding.
· Manage and maintain key office supplies (including pantry supplies, office materials, first aid supplies, etc.). Inventory and maintenance of the storage unit.
· Manage the office access controls / visitor protocols of the office space and coordinate security enhancements / improvements upon request.
· Provides administrative support to the Grant, Contracts & Compliance Department in the coordination of contracts received to and shipped from the London office.

We are looking for a great motivator with excellent communication and organisational skills. About This Job
The MS Society is starting a new phase of charity shop launches. Beginning with the launch of new shops in Hale and Sale as part of an exciting, national retail transformation.
You’ll be managing our shop volunteers and maximising revenue to support the activities of the MS Society local group.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A background of working in retail management is desirable.
