The Role

As the Safeguarding, HR, & DBS Administrator, you will provide essential support across safeguarding, HR, and DBS functions, helping to ensure communities are safe, well-supported, and compliant with best practice.

Your role will include

• Assisting the safeguarding team and parishes in building effective safeguarding structures
• Supporting HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle
• Managing DBS administration for both diocesan staff and parishes
• Maintaining accurate safeguarding and data protection records in the Contact Management System contributing to wider departmental tasks and your own professional development.

Post Title: Outreach and Recruitment Officer

Type of role: Full time,( fixed term one-year contract)

Reporting to: Senior Outreach and Recruitment manager

Annual Salary: £30,000 to 33,000

Holidays: 27 days per annum (with 3 additional days added to cover the Christmas and New Year closure days)

Location: Victoria

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (flexible), with evenings and weekends as necessary

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Promote Ada at outreach events (careers fairs, assemblies, workshops) with the aim of maximising applications
• Engage and network with school contacts to ensure growth of Ada’s active contacts in outreach database
• Management and updating of the school database to support outreach communications
• Assist with event planning, administration and delivery including Outreach events, Careers Fairs, Open Days, School visits to Ada and Keep Warm events (This will involve commitment on some weekends and evenings during busy times)
• Support the administration of the Sixth Form application process when needed, including: dealing with enquiries to the inbox and on the phone in a timely manner, sending application communications including invitations for assessment, offers and enrollment paperwork, data entry and keeping accurate records of all applicants and their information within the customer relationship management tools (Salesforce)
• Support role in the preparation and administration of Lift-off days

• Keeping accurate records, inputting data into Ada’s systems and exporting relevant information to produce reports and dashboards for the team

I'm recruiting on behalf of a small, globally connected Christian organisation based in London, with an annual income of approximately £2 million. The Job

This is a hands-on Director of Finance role, responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of the organisation and two related charities. You'll manage a small team (currently one full-time and one part-time staff member) and report directly to the Chief Exec equivalent.

- Overseeing statutory accounts and audit processes

The Person

You'll need excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems (SAP Business One experience is a plus but not essential).

We are recruiting two Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners to join our Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Team at YMCA East Surrey.

Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) will be expected to integrate into YMCA East Surrey’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) team and to support all early intervention work. You will assess and deliver (under supervision), outcome focused, evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.   

This Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner role includes completion of the Child Wellbeing Practice Postgraduate or Graduate level Diploma run by the University of 

Sussex, which follows the nationally agreed curriculum to qualify as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.

The post holder must have experience of working with children, young people and families with multiple and/or complex needs and hold a minimum qualification equivalent to a NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field. In addition, the successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

For the Level 6 (Graduate Diploma) the minimum level would be 3 x A-levels with grades of AAB - BBB (BBC if meet the criteria for contextual offer), or an equivalent qualification such as NVQ level 3 or above, or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at graduate level). Evidence of experience of working with children and young people.

For the Level 7 (Post-graduate Diploma) the minimum requirement is a Graduate Degree at 2:2, NVQ level 6 or above in Health Care or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at post-graduate level) 

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. Includes attendance at the University of Sussex 2 days per week from January to October.

Location: Tadworth, but working across various locations in East Surrey and attendance at the University of Sussex.

Key responsibilities:

· Working in partnership to support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties

· To develop plans for successful intervention and agreed outcomes.

· To support and empower children, young people and families to make informed choices about the intervention.

· To always operate from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects diversity.

· To accept referrals within agreed national and local protocols.

· To undertake accurate assessment of risk to self and others.

· To adhere to the service referral protocols. Under supervision, signpost unsuitable referrals to the relevant service as necessary.

· Through close case management and supervision, escalate cases where the level of need becomes beyond scope

· Provide a range of information and support for evidence based psychological treatments, primarily guided self-help.

· Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or CYP in treatment, where appropriate.

· Keep coherent records of all activity in line with service protocols and use these records and outcome data to inform decision making.

· Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post including practical, academic and practice-based assessments.

· As well as attendance at the University for training, fulfil private study requirements to enhance learning and prepare assignments for examination - recommendation is 150 hours of study for each of the 8 modules, which includes the teaching days.

· Assess and integrate issues relating to transitions, education and training/employment into the overall therapeutic process.

Gaddum provides therapeutic support within the CYP Bereavement Therapy Service and the Complex Care Therapy Service across Greater Manchester. Our CYP Bereavement Therapy Service is delivered across Manchester and Salford. Our Complex Care Service is delivered across Salford, Rochdale and Stockport. Our Kentown Support Service will be delivered across Greater Manchester.

Role Purpose:

Working as part of the Gaddum CYP Bereavement Therapy and Complex Care Team, your role will be to provide effective and efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of Gaddum’s therapy services. You will be responsible for ensuring that all administration tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

You will demonstrate appropriate professionalism and empathy towards clients both face to face and over the phone. A keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise is key to the success of this role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Processing referrals: adding them to our database as well as our waitlist spreadsheet, sending out therapy agreement emails to gain consent from families, communicating with referrers/other professionals where needed

· Screening referrals: for any unsuitable or high-risk cases, identifying those 16+ to help us build list for trainees

· Completing follow ups where needed - such as awaiting carer response to agreement/consent email, or we are waiting to hear back about something

· Responding to queries from professionals or service users

· Monitoring email boxes and supporting to monitor waitlist

· Completing IA’s with families who are due to start therapy

· Assisting with therapy bookings where needed (may be contacting schools or community venues on behalf of therapists)

· Liaising with professionals and assisting with onward referrals

· Keeping records up to date

· Communicating cancellations/scheduling changes to therapists or clients or both

· Support therapists with collecting feedback from parents/carers

· Attend team meetings, assisting with minutes where possible, helping to share information with the team

· Support with onboarding of new staff/volunteers/trainees, including support for CRM training and access

· Signposting for other services

· Communicate referral decisions to clients and healthcare professionals in line with procedures.

All staff are expected to work within all Gaddum policies and procedures. This role is subject to Basic DBS check.

· To work collaboratively and effectively with statutory and voluntary agencies to identify parents/carers in need of support and to agree effective referral processes. 

· To create, develop and deliver one-to-one interventions, workshops and presentations for small parent/carer groups covering a range of emotional wellbeing and mental health topics. 

· To set up and facilitate peer-to-peer support and discussion groups. 

· To offer one or more one-to-one consultation and advice sessions for parents/carers who need a more personalised approach. 

· To identify a range of specialist services and agencies who can offer further support for parents and families. 

· To work in partnership with YMCA East Surrey’s Face2Face service. 

· To work in partnership with Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead who will provide support to parents/carers with children aged under 11 years. 

· To promote the service within YMCA East Surrey and with statutory and voluntary sector partners across the region – this might include presentations at networking events and production of promotional material. 

· To collect appropriate data and information about families being supported, to record attendance at group and one-to-one sessions, to report activity monthly and ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated.    

· To collect feedback on support delivered and to use feedback to inform continued development of the service. 

· To help assess the needs and strengths of the parents/carers referred into the service and help them identify short-term goals to achieve desired change.  

· Record and review parent/carer goals using the Goal-Based Outcomes tool and use this to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.  

· To take responsibility for managing own caseload and diary. 

· To involve parents/carers in the co-design of group work and ensure that the service responds to user voice and meets the needs identified. 

· To provide written case studies as evidence of the effectiveness of interventions and group work. 

· You will deliver services from YMCA East Surrey sites and other community venues across the following areas – Banstead, Tadworth, Epsom, Ewell, Ashtead, Leatherhead, Dorking and Esher. 

· Any other duties which you are required to be performed within the grade and renumeration of the role. 

· To work as part of a team and attend team meetings, training events and participate fully in reflective practice groups.   

· We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults. This role will require an enhanced DBS disclosure (with barred children/vulnerable adults).  We require you to understand and demonstrate this commitment and attend any required training.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Engagement Coordinator will join our Engagement Team at the forefront of involving local communities and schools in our exciting tree-planting & urban greening projects and engage people in learning about and taking action for trees and the environment.

The Engagement team at Trees for Cities promotes and leads site-based activities and events for thousands of adults and children to participate in our tree planting programme that aims to plant, promote, and protect trees in public urban spaces.

Our Trees for Schools programme aims to transform urban school grounds into leafy green oases for both the children of today and for future generations. Our award-winning work in schools is delivery-focused and involves transforming school grounds into greener and healthier places to be.

This role involves establishing and maintaining school tree planting projects, climate-adapted gardens and food growing projects with pupils and supporting teaching staff to embed outdoor learning through trees and green spaces into the school curriculum. The coordinator will deliver school tree planting and educational workshops as well as conduct community consultation and coordinate events around public tree planting projects.

This role will join another Engagement Coordinator and the Engagement Manager in working closely with our Urban Forest, Build and Design, Monitoring and Impact, as well as Marketing and Communications teams to deliver multiple, overlapping projects with diverse London communities.

We are looking for an energetic and organised individual to support and coordinate our engagement activities for tree planting and outdoor classroom initiatives. This involves planning, delivering, and reporting back on community consultations, educational workshops, public tree planting events and other activities.
The role is public-facing, so we are looking for confident and adaptable communicators who are comfortable engaging residents in a range of communities, schools, and interest groups, and who are passionate about what we do at Trees for Cities.

We are seeking individuals who are happy to work hands-on outdoors in all weathers at a variety of locations, and over some weekends, with TOIL (time off in lieu), as well as being comfortable working indoors in an office environment. We want practical and highly organised people capable of coordinating event logistics and are keen to lead everything from small scale workshops to public community events involving hundreds of people.
