The Project Manager (Sport) will lead on developing projects which increase and diversify the sports-based enrichment opportunities available for young people completing their DofE sectional activities.
The role will include leading on project design and delivery, building partnerships with national sports providers, and exploring how the DofE can develop an enhanced sports and physical activity enrichment offer for young people.
Based in the UK Strategic Programmes Directorate, the role will include working closely with colleagues across the Charity, including the Quality and Compliance (Q&C) Directorate. A key focus will be working with Q&C colleagues to develop a new licence-based opportunity, which will support the DofE’s partnership working with sport-based National Governing Bodies (NGBs).

With teams in England, Scotland and Wales, working with hundreds of ‘at risk’ students, we are looking to appoint a Regional Manager in South East Wales who will be responsible for overseeing the effective delivery of our programme in Wales. The Purpose of the Role
The External Relations (ER) department includes private fundraising, marketing & communications and advocacy. - **Bachelors Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or Business

- Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time-management skills – proven ability to prioritize against simultaneous demands and deliver at a fast pace
- **Strong analytical skills – analyze, interpret, and translate quantitative data into actionable insights
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills – breakdown complex problems
- **Advance command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint, PowerQuery
- Experience with cloud-based planning tools (Salesforce), PowerBI and ERP systems is desirable
