The Role
The role of Corporate Partnerships Manager presents a unique opportunity to join an established team in a brand-new role, reporting directly into the CEO. The main duties will include:
- Creating a corporate partnership strategy, and compelling proposals that identify and develop new corporate partnering prospects.
- Building relationships and establishing a pipeline of new corporate partnerships.
- Raising the profile of Home-Start Leeds across Leeds and its surrounding areas by networking at appropriate events and securing new introductions.
- Meeting targets via a range of income streams including Charity of the Year partnerships, sponsorship, employee fundraising, match funding, general donations, and other long-term strategic partnerships.
The Person
We are looking for an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate funders. You must be confident in pitching and presenting and be a proud ambassador and face of Home-Start Leeds in the business community.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in fundraising and donor management however, we are also keen to speak to candidates with transferable skills from a sales, business development or account management background.
Please note that the role involves occasional out of office hours work for meetings and events, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable, as well as passionate and committed!

- We’re looking for a self-motivated, proactive individual with a passion for social media and experience working across accounts with high volumes of user engagement. You’ll know how to create channel and audience-specific content that maximises user engagement and have a talent for spotting trends and opportunities to ensure we stand out from the crowd.
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing active social media communities and understand the value of nurturing online audiences through considered community management approaches.
- You will be confident creating a range of impactful visual assets (graphics, video, photo), and really understand how to get the best results in each placement. - Collect, analyse and categorise issues raised by EU citizens through the3million’s reporting channels, including highlighting correlations to equality characteristics such as race and ethnicity, age, gender etc (including our ReportIt! system, email, social media and listening campaigns).
- Interview EU citizens who report issues, sharing information about rights, signposting to relevant legal advice organisations.
- Identify trends in the challenges faced by EU citizens, documenting these in detail, analysing systemic issues.
- Provide strategic guidance on how research findings can inform the3million’s advocacy, campaigns and communications activities.

The Purpose of the Role
The External Relations (ER) department includes private fundraising, marketing & communications and advocacy. The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team plays a vital role in supporting ER to advance our ambitious global strategy. We are looking for an Engagement Manager (East of England) to join us on a fixed term contract, for 12-months, to cover maternity leave.
About the role
The key purpose of the Engagement Manager role is to deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across the East of England and to engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region. We currently have two Sight Loss Councils (SLCs) in this region, so the postholder will be expected to care-take and develop both SLCs, focusing on the retention of the volunteers engaged and making sure the projects and work they are involved in, continue with success. You will also be managing and developing stakeholder relationships across all the areas in which we work including transport and health sectors, as well with local authorities and arts and culture venues in the region.
About you
You will have the passion and ability to use your lived experience or experience to influence change, for the benefit of blind and partially sighted people. As an experienced volunteer manager, you will engage and lead Sight Loss Council members in the implementation of the region’s business plans to bring about change across transport, health and the built environment, as well as areas of local interest such as arts and culture or retail.
You will be a self-starter and work well on your own but will also enjoy being a part of a team of other Engagement Managers across the country, with whom you can learn from, as well as share good practice with.
