Joining their UK team, your role as Communications and Digital Marketing Officer will lead on the delivery of a cohesive digital marketing strategy, while ensuring that all content aligns with organisational brand and values. This is a remote based role in the UK, with monthly travel to London.

As Communications and Digital Marketing Officer you will grow the organisation’s online audience. You will engage new and existing donor, prospect and fan bases, using effective and innovative digital marketing strategies. Your role will see you create, manage, and optimise paid campaigns: run ads on Meta, YouTube and other relevant platforms to secure high-quality supporters at the most cost-effective rate possible. This role is part of our peer support services team and will be responsible for supporting our online peer support communities, including our forum and Facebook groups.

The post holder will work directly with the Peer Support Manager and the Senior Online Communities Officer, as well as with colleagues from across the charity to develop our online communities, helping us to reach and support more people affected by bowel cancer and those concerned about symptoms, risk and pre-diagnosis.

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Young Lives vs Cancer as we set up a new Brand Marketing and Communications function including a team of digital experts.

As the Digital Product Officer, you will support the ongoing development and management of the organisation’s website. Help to manage the process for reporting, testing and deploying updates to the functionality. Improve the processes around the creation of content on the website and help manage the back end of the CMS to ensure it is clear and functional.

• Experience of developing and maintaining a website to deliver excellent user journeys that meets the needs of our audience

About the role

As the Corporate Partnerships Senior Officer, you will lead on securing new six figure multi-year corporate partnerships. The Operations Officer will support the operation and development of the AAP programme across the UK. This role will support a portfolio of AAPs – the AAP network itself encompasses a variety of providers for all Sections of the Award, from, large UK wide charities to sole traders.

This position will involve working alongside two other Operations Officers within the AAP Team, splitting the support of AAPs into three portfolios. The role will be field-based, and applicants will work from home most of the time, meeting with the AAP contacts virtually, delivering training and conducting audits remotely wherever possible, with some travel to attend field-based audits when necessary, as well as attending conferences and meetings.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, proactive, and effective team player to join the AAP Team. The post holder will report to the UK Operations Manager (Approved Activity Providers) and will be responsible for the day-to-day contact with and management of Approved Activity Providers (AAPs) in order to support the delivery of the AAP Team business plan.

**The geographical allowance is based on a staff member having a home or office-based postcode within 30 miles (as the crow flies) from Charing Cross, WC2N 5HS. The allowance is 7% capped at £4,000 (pro rata) per annum.

This is a key role in developing, promoting and delivering online and face-to-face bereavement trainings to organisations and communities who support bereaved children and young people.

You will be involved in identifying training needs, developing training content to best support those needs, delivering and evaluating Winston’s Wish’s training delivery across the UK.
