Purpose of the job
Primarily, you’ll own responsibility for our small to medium grant pipeline, so we're looking for someone with a track record of successfully securing five figure funding from Trusts, Foundations, or Corporates. As well as writing high quality, comprehensive and persuasive funding applications, you’ll need to manage reporting and relationship management with the funders you successfully engage with and oversee wider fundraising areas, including playing a key role in our social media and communications, supporting sponsored event and London marathon runners, and playing a key part in planning our annual fundraising events. We see significant potential for growth within the role with the capacity for the right candidate to progress to Senior Fundraising Officer level within the first 12-18 months.

Role responsibilities to include:
- To prepare and submit compelling funding applications to our existing well established pipeline of small-medium Trusts, Foundations and Corporates.
- To hold responsibility for relationship management with our portfolio of small-medium sized funders (value of c£250,000-£300,000 annually).
- To support the Fundraising Manager and CEO with the preparation of larger and more complex funding bids, showing capacity to progress to leading a proportion of these in time.
- To support the Fundraising Manager with research into future funding opportunities.
- To create detailed, timely and impactful reports for funders, including evidence and evaluation of the projects supported by their donations.
- To lead on our sponsored runs, including 12 London marathon places, ensuring runners are supported with event sign-up, fundraising pages and targets, and social media content. (circa 20 runners total per year).
- To support the Fundraising Manager in the delivery of our May Fundraising gala event evening, June match funded online campaign, Christmas campaign, Corporate volunteering days, and such other future events as may be required.
- To play a key role in fundraising related social media content creation and posting, supporters’ newsletters, supporters’ survey and wider social media and communications functions.
Person specification to include:
- Some previous experience in a fundraising role.
- Demonstrable skills in building powerful relationships with Trusts, Foundations, Corporates and individual donors.
- Good experience in creating impactful monitoring reports for funders.

The role
Evidence and Evaluation Officers are key to generating and synthesising evidence on what works and developing resources to support its translation to policy makers, commissioners and practitioners.
The primary focus of the role is contributing to the Strengthening Families, Supporting Children programme – a flagship initiative involving three large-scale comprehensive evaluations of distinct social work practice models. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to high-impact evaluations that will directly inform national policy. About you
The role requires a strong mix of research and broader professional skills, including communication skills, initiative, and the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences. You will also need a master's degree in social science, social policy, public health, health services, or another related field, or relevant experience equivalent to a master's qualification.
You will have experience of:
- Conducting implementation and process evaluations and delivering outputs to time and to high quality
- Conducting research in sensitive and complex settings, including children’s social care
- Collecting data from children, young people, and families who may be vulnerable
- Analysing quantitative data, including survey and administrative data

The role
Our charity-sector client, a respected UK membership organisation, is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to raise profile and drive engagement across web, email and social channels. You'll plan, create and deliver high-quality digital content, turning complex ideas into accessible stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
What you'll do
Own day-to-day website and social media: publish, edit and maintain high-quality content.
Plan content calendars; schedule posts for events, news, and key moments.
Produce member e-news and other email communications (liaising with internal stakeholders).
Create engaging coverage for live activities (events, campaigns, announcements).
Design assets and promotional materials (graphics, leaflets, event collateral, email campaigns).
Produce multimedia content (images/graphics; occasional short video/animation).
Draft and refine copy; contribute to campaigns that grow and retain membership and promote grant schemes.

Protect, the UK’s leading whistleblowing charity, is looking for an exceptional public-spirited Policy & Advocacy Officer, who will lead our anti-corruption work. The role is currently funded by the Joffe Charitable Trust. The role is 3 days (22.5hours) per week; can be spread over 3-5 days.

What the job involves
We’re looking for a brilliant and proactive Senior Copywriting Officer to lead the creation of compelling written content that engages our audiences, strengthens our brand voice, and helps raise vital funds to support men with, or at risk of, prostate cancer.
As our in-house copywriting expert, you’ll help shape messaging and creative direction for products and campaigns and play a key role in shaping our tone of voice across all communication. You’ll review and edit content, support colleagues to build their confidence and capability, and ensure everything we publish is clear, consistent and impactful.
You’ll take the lead on developing content and writing for key long-form products – including our supporter magazine, impact report and direct marketing appeals – transforming briefs into emotionally resonant, insight-led copy that drives supporter action across both print and digital channels.

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of developing countries to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that developing countries should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions.
This is a unique opportunity to shape global conversations on climate science by empowering researchers in developing countries to publish and communicate their work, collaborating with some of the world’s leading SRM experts.
We are looking for a candidate with strong digital skills and social media experience. The ideal candidate will have experience creating content for social and web, managing website content and systems, and working with digital media (photos and video).
The Digital Communications Officer will report to the Communications Manager and collaborate with teams across the organisation (Policy Engagement, Programmes, Fundraising) and with our researcher teams across the Global South.
Responsibilities will include:
Social media
- Manage day-to-day social media posting across current channels (LinkedIn, X, Bluesky), posting content that aligns with our tone of voice and brand guidelines
- Monitor social media and traditional media for mentions of Degrees and the wider topic of SRM, identifying trends and opportunities
- Evaluate social media performance and recommend potential new strategies and platforms, driven by data as well as awareness of Degrees’ position
Content creation
- Edit short videos of our researchers for social media and the website
- Design graphics for social media, reports, presentations and events, using tools such as Canva or InDesign
- Write news, profiles, and announcements for the website
Website
- Act as primary website administrator, keeping the website up to date by editing and adding new pages as required
- Maintain content consistency across the website, especially as we redevelop our site and move to a new platform (WordPress, with Gutenberg editor)
- Assist with website content migration using a good understanding of website database management systems (e.g. Jet Engine, ACF)
- Use analytics to monitor website performance and suggest SEO improvements (Google Analytics)
Team support
- Create and maintain templates for documents, presentations, etc., to ensure consistency across visual products
- Compile and deliver the quarterly newsletter (using MailChimp)
- Organise and maintain media asset folders (photos, videos, recordings) with clear tagging
- Support other teams (policy engagement, programmes, fundraising) with communications products as required
