The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of our four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. It is then distributed to over 1,200 community organisations, such as food banks, homeless shelters and primary schools, all of whom are working within communities across London to feed people experiencing hunger.
Purpose of the Job
We are looking for someone to play a key role in our Learning and Development team to support the upskilling of our staff and volunteers. The Learning and Development (L&D) Officer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating modules and training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of employees.
This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs, developing engaging learning materials, and facilitating training sessions to support the professional growth and development of staff. The post will also be responsible for supporting other teams in the organisation design and run their own training programmes.

Overview
The Procurement and Travel Officer will play a vital role in managing the procurement and travel functions for the organisation, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient booking of travel for staff and senior stakeholders, as well as overseeing the organisation’s purchasing activities. As a newly created position, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing systems and processes to manage travel and procurement, working closely with the Finance team and the Travel and Security Advisor in the HR department to ensure consistency and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Travel Management:
· Coordinate and manage all travel arrangements for staff and senior stakeholders, ensuring timely and cost-effective bookings while adhering to organisational policies.
· Organise international and domestic travel, including flights, accommodation, transport, and visa arrangements.
· Serve as the point of contact for travel-related inquiries, providing guidance and support for smooth logistics.
· Negotiate with travel vendors and service providers to secure the best pricing and terms for the organisation.
Procurement Management:
· Oversee and manage the purchasing of goods and services for the organisation, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and budgetary guidelines.
· Source, evaluate, and engage with suppliers for the provision of necessary goods and services, aiming to achieve cost-efficiency and quality.
· Develop and maintain procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
· Liaise with Finance to ensure accurate tracking of procurement expenditures and alignment with budget allocations.
Collaboration with HR and Security Teams:
· Work closely with the Travel and Security Advisor in the HR department to ensure travel safety and security measures are in place for staff and senior stakeholders, particularly for international trips.
· Support the integration of security protocols into travel arrangements and procurement decisions, ensuring all relevant safety guidelines are met.
· Assist in providing pre-travel briefings and information to staff traveling to high-risk areas.
Systems and Process Development:
· Collaborate with the Finance team to design and implement systems for procurement and travel functions.
· Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for travel bookings and procurement to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement and travel transactions, ensuring clear communication across departments.
Stakeholder Support and Coordination:
· Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external suppliers regarding procurement and travel matters.
· Support staff and senior stakeholders with travel and procurement inquiries, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
· Assist in coordinating logistics for organisational events, conferences, and field visits, ensuring all travel and procurement requirements are met.
Confidentiality and Discretion:

Person Requirement
· Proven experience in procurement, travel coordination, or a similar role, ideally within the public or not-for-profit sector.
· Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external vendors.

About the Team
The WaterAid Data Selections team works with stakeholders across the entire Fundraising directorate. This is a great role to quickly learn how charities use data for their fundraising communications.
About the Role
As our data savvy Data Selections Officer, you will update and write SQL scripts to enable WaterAid UKs fundraising mass communications, and champion our supporter’s experience ensuring supporters receive communications that are relevant to them.
In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders across Fundraising, interpreting their data requests into SQL scripts, and work closely with the Data Engineering team to update our data warehouse as the organisations data requirements evolve.
You’ll also:
- Review current SQL scripts and optimise them
- Work with teams on setting up, and updating our supporter journeys
- Advise stakeholders on using data effectively, creating variable outputs or segmentation for testing
- Work closely with the Analytics team, implementing their findings and collaborating on propensity models
- Champion data quality, and work with relevant teams to constantly improve the data in the data warehouse.
Requirements
The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail and be able to interpret natural language data requests into complex SQL queries.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Experience of writing SQL syntax, including the creation of views, stored procedures and processes.
- Good knowledge of data protection legislation and its application.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Experience working in a Fundraising or charity environment.

About Us
The Greater Manchester Women’s Support Alliance (GMWSA) was established in 2016 by seven organisations who provide support services to women across all ten boroughs in Greater Manchester (GM) who may be vulnerable or have unmet support needs.
We came together as the GMWSA in order to ensure that our collective voice is heard by policy makers and commissioners of services. We represent the interests of our beneficiaries and service users, we share good practice and experience and ensure that no service operates in isolation. GMWSA is now formed of nine Member and Associate Member women’s centres having a presence in each of the 10 local authority areas across GM all of whom are collectively funded to deliver support services across GM to women either involved in the Criminal Justice System, or whose vulnerability and marginalisation leaves them at risk of offending, but all also have individual funding streams to ensure their provision reaches every woman in need of support.
Alliance members offer a full range of services to women who need support around issues such as domestic abuse, housing, mental health, substance misuse, education, employment, training, and confidence/self-esteem, all delivered with a trauma responsive approach.

Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer to join GMWSA to transform the Alliance to meet future challenges around function and funding.
You will shape and implement the strategic direction of the Alliance, ensure the smooth running of the charity, provide leadership to staff, support the Board of Trustees to fulfil its strategic and governance duties and ensure the delivery of grants and contracts.

Purpose

1. Project Support

- Set-up and monitor project workplans, including change requests ensuring that approvals are formally recorded and filed
