Reporting to the Senior Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever-increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for existing supporters and new supporters who respond to our fundraising activities by phone, email, letter or in person, letter, or email delivering outstanding supporter care
• Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail, with excellent customer care
• Prioritise answering incoming phone calls and escalate any difficult situations/complaints to the Senior Supporter Care Manager
• Support processing incoming phone and postal donations
• Assist with banking and processing incoming/outgoing post
• Be responsible for thanking our supporters, including by letter, email and phone, dispatch of information and fundraising materials
• Enter and maintain accurate records on our Database
• Maintain and assist with all types of donation processing, administration and Database record amendments/records being kept up to date. This will include Gift Aid status and contact consent requests
• Assist with cancelling and amending all types of regular gifts and sending out appropriate letters
• Manage the removal process and consent process
• Assist with sending out problem payment letters
• Following up cancelled regular payments as part of the winback process
• Assist with handling material requests and recording actions on the Database
• Assist with any third-party agency supporter care requests
• Maintain sensitive information and records with appropriate confidentiality
• Play an active role in developing the supporter journey at Operation Smile UK, working with the Senior Supporter Care Manager and colleagues across Fundraising & Communications.

About the role

We are seeking a Grants Systems and Business Analyst to join our Foundation, providing subject-area expertise to our grantmaking and wider teams. This exciting role leads on our grants system and processes and ensures we are working in the best way to support our grant-making (approx. £35m of grant spend per year).

You will lead on maintaining, designing and developing grant making systems and processes and their relationship to other parts of the organisation. You will work with colleagues to identify where we could improve our use of existing digital systems or introduce new systems and oversee the introduction of new systems as agreed including the development of a new grant management system. A key element of this role is to help others work in the most efficient and effective way. 

In addition, the role leads on introducing, developing and overseeing the operation of digital systems to support the operation of PHF’s wider business.  The post holder will bring a mix of technical and people skills to lead on continuous improvement, ensuring our systems and workflows fit the needs of the organisation and those we work with, and colleagues are skilled-up to work effectively.  This may involve working on the introduction of new software as required and will include working with our IT support company, software suppliers and colleagues who have specific oversight of some systems.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. We work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together we have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. We also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse. 

In July of this year the Home Office announced a £53m investment over the next four years to enable the Drive Project to roll out across England and Wales. To end domestic abuse, we must address the source of the problem - the perpetrator.  This funding will make a huge difference to our efforts to support survivors, by holding perpetrators to account, stopping them from causing further harm and giving them the chance to change. 

The Drive Head of Operations will play a central role in maintaining strategic oversight of internal operations, including project planning and risk management across workstreams, and partner coordination across the Drive Partnership. This is a senior leadership position providing operational leadership, staff management, and cross-partner coordination to ensure workstreams within the Drive Partnership function effectively, efficiently and in in alignment with the Drive Partnership's core mission. 

The role will report directly to the Drive Director, form part of the Drive Senior Management team and work alongside the Drive Deputy Director and other Senior Leads to embed a high-performing, values-led culture across The Drive Partnership.

About Adolescent Health Study

The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with and involving young people, schools, parents and other relevant stakeholders in the design and delivery of the study, as well as on including young people that represent as wide as possible a range of backgrounds, experiences and characteristics. AHS will focus on enabling a wide range of research, including studies of the critical biological and social developments that occur during the transition from childhood to adulthood and the determinants of both mental and physical health and wellbeing in adolescents and young adults.

Purpose of the post

Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, the postholder will oversee all financial operations, providing strategic insights to inform decision-making and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
This role is integral to supporting the organisation’s mission of advancing health research through effective financial stewardship, and it offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced finance professional to make a significant contribution within a mission-driven organisation.

Main responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning
• Develop and implement robust financial strategies to support the organisation’s strategic goals.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

Financial Management, Reporting and Regulatory Compliance

About Migrateful

Migrateful is an award-winning social enterprise and registered charity founded in 2017. Our mission is to support refugees and migrants facing barriers to employment and integration in the UK by offering training, paid work, and a supportive community.

Our chefs come from diverse backgrounds, often shaped by displacement, modern slavery, or gender-based violence. Through our programme, they train to lead cookery classes for the public and corporate groups, helping them build confidence, improve English skills, and gain meaningful work experience.

About the Role

The Operations Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of Migrateful’s cookery classes and the overall effectiveness of our operations. 

You’ll play the important role of supporting Facilitators by creating practical guides, coordinating training and skills-sharing sessions, gathering feedback, and maintaining up-to-date documentation such as health and safety records. 

Alongside this, you’ll help manage other key areas of Operations like responding to customer and volunteer queries, coordinating volunteers for public and corporate classes, and supporting process improvements around our use of Salesforce.

A key deliverable of this role is overseeing our invoicing process. You’ll be responsible for bi-weekly checks to ensure timely and accurate payments to our cookery class hosts (Facilitators) and teachers (Chefs). You’ll also support improvements that help us better track the real cost of our classes.

Person specification

This role would suit a proactive, organised, collaborative individual who enjoys variety in their work. You’ll need to be confident using systems, have a keen eye for detail, and take satisfaction in improving processes.

Essential

• Experience working in an operations, administrative or coordination role

Key Responsibilities

Invoicing

• Perform bi-weekly invoice checks and capture these on Salesforce
• ​Support the continuous improvement of invoicing systems 

Support Cookery Class Hosts (Facilitators) 

• Coordinate the periodic recruitment and onboarding of new Facilitators
• Update and improve Facilitator user guides and training materials
• Maintain regular communication with Facilitators, including announcements and process updates
• Carry out in-class observations and provide constructive feedback to Facilitators
• Provide out-of-hours remote support for Facilitator
• ​Share and implement improvements based on Facilitator feedback and survey results

Volunteer Coordination

• Respond to volunteer queries and troubleshoot the Volunteer Portal
• ​Ensure adequate volunteer coverage for all cookery classes
• Create supporting material to enhance the experience of volunteers in classes

General Operations Administration

• Maintain up-to-date operational records (e.g. DBS checks, risk assessments, food hygiene certificates)
• Complete ad hoc administrative tasks (e.g. equipment inventories, printing and laminating recipes)
• ​Support the implementation of operational policies across venues and staff

Cover and Additional Support

• Provide occasional out of-hours support to facilitators
• ​Willing to support the Operations team during periods of annual leave to ensure continuity of work

Systems and Process Improvement

• Contribute to the improvement of internal systems and processes, including support for Salesforce streamlining
• Office based admin e.g. purchasing office supplies, tracking equipment
• Support onboarding and off boarding of staff members

This is a hybrid role that requires you to work from our HQ office in Farringdon, London four days a week. Please note that you may be required to attend classes or other events outside your usual working hours. Governance

· Provide administrative support to the Board and sub-committees, including scheduling meetings (including annual AGM), supporting the CEO and Deputy CEO in drafting agendas, preparing, collating and distributing papers, and minuting meetings.

· Acting as the key point of contact for members of the Board.

· With the CEO and Deputy CEO, track key deliverables and action points and follow up on outstanding items.

· Assisting with the election, appointment and reappointment processes for board and committee members.

· Manage trustee onboarding, training, and compliance requirements.

• 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally within a small or purpose-led organisation.

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (the Trust) is recruiting a part-time HR Manager.

The purpose of this role is to manage and develop all core HR functions, supporting employees and the organisation and ensuring the delivery of HR services which are efficient, inclusive and aligned to the Trust values. 

Based on the developing People Strategy, the HR team deliver a wide range of HR projects for continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in a friendly, highly focussed organisation with an important mission.

The role will line manage the Senior HR Officer and oversees HR operations, recruitment, policy development, staff development, wellbeing, EEDI and remuneration processes.  The post provides an advisory service to the senior management team and will have the opportunity to play a key role within many of the Trust teams.

You will be CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards, and be able to demonstrate previous relevant experience of working at HR Manager level in which you will have delivered the full range of generalist HR operations.  You will hold skills in relationship building, communication, project management and organisation together with good knowledge of employment law and digital systems utilisation.
