About this role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays an important part in supporting our Finance Team in delivery of SIB’s new strategy and focus.
Key responsibilities
- To ensure all bank mandate updates and KYC requests are dealt with efficiently and records accurately maintained.
- To be responsible for ensuring that, by month end, all bank reconciliations are completed for all entities, required for Management accountants to run loan and grant reports.
- To reconcile and post interest for non-feed bank accounts when statements are received.
- To prepare the monthly Cash Analysis Report.
- To monitor credit control.
- To process monthly direct debit collections.
- To ensure the filing and archiving is up to date.
- To assist the Governance Team with minute taking at Committee meetings as and when required.
- To enter invoices into Receipt Bank/Xero, checking that coding and budget data is correct.
- To monitor and maintain shared finance mailboxes.
- To manage the electronic approval system – ApprovalMax. Matching Invoices to purchase orders and ensuring invoices are uploaded with correct authorisations.
- To handle any payment issues raised by internal/external team members for timely resolution.
- To prepare for and make weekly payments to SIB grantees, investees, employees and suppliers following laid down procedures.
- To set up payment templates for new payees within SIB’s agreed controls for suppliers, grantees, investees and team members. To support the Project Accountant and Head of Governance in maintaining and reviewing the supplier register to be complaint with ISO.
- To upload/import payments for approval when grants and loan disbursement requests are required.
- To be responsible for credit card and Pleo card book keeping and reconciliations.
- To generate sales invoices.
- To enter invoices into Receipt Bank/Xero, checking that coding and budget data is correct.
- To match Invoices to purchase orders and ensuring invoices are uploaded with correct authorisations.
- To be the bank administrator for all accounts in relation to systems admin.
- To work within the organisation's values, principles and processes to achieve operational excellence.

The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to become more effective and strategic in their work. They will provide support to the leadership and governance of the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, Director of Finance and Operations and other team members as required to provide high-quality administrative and communications support to the organisation. The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment.

English fluency is a must.

You will call across supporter acquisition, welcome calls, cross-sell, membership, legacy fundraising campaigns and more. You will be speaking with existing supporters who have previously donated or shown an interest in supporting the charities work, no ‘cold calling’ and will be making a strong fundraising ask on a charity’s behalf.
To be considered for this role, you will have strong background in a sales-based role, interpersonal skills transferable to telephone conversations, a confident and clear speaking voice, and the ability to follow a structure (call guide). You will also be resilient, able to handle objection, empathic and have the ability to perform to a target based working environment.

The Network Lead plays a central role in helping us achieve our vision to end the need for food banks in the UK. This is a varied, proactive and fast-paced role that involves representing the Trussell Trust on policy and public affairs and key stakeholder relationships in South West, the leadership of a dynamic team of area managers that supports the network of food banks in the South West to deliver emergency food, and the coordination of projects and partnerships to support the food banks in our network to reduce the need for their services locally.
Role responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Manage the delivery of food bank operations in the nation and key strategic projects that are part of the Trussell Trust’s five-year strategy to end the need for food banks.

Projects and partnerships: Build partnerships and develop projects with organisations to develop and build services and systems that help end the need for food banks.

Policy, public affairs and church engagement: Engage with a wide range of external bodies, including national government, elected representatives, faith and community organisations, and research bodies. Ensure that local churches (including church leaders) feel connected and understand the importance of ending the need for food banks in local communities.

Team Leadership: Provide leadership, support, coaching, development, and line management to the area managers. Provide support, advice and guidance to Trussell Trust project leads as appropriate to ensure they understand the policy and public affairs context for delivering their work in the nation e.g. Pathfinder and Financial Inclusion team

Risk Management: Ensure consistent quality assurance of food banks across the nation , in line with the risk framework and support area managers to deal with complaints and manage food banks with high risks.

As a Project Officer, you will organise and deliver engagement activities with local community groups, community leaders, businesses, schools and volunteers on our community led infrastructure and National Cycle Network projects.

Let’s Go Zero is a national campaign uniting teachers, pupils, parents and their schools as they all work together to be zero carbon by 2030. We’re also working with national government to ensure the right support is in place to help all schools reach this goal through seven policy actions.
The Let’s Go Zero campaign is seeking one Climate Action Advisor based in Cumbria or Lancashire, and one Climate Action Advisor based in North/North East Lincolnshire or Hull, as part of its new climate action advisors project. This initiative will link thousands of schools across the whole of England with advice and support from a network of 31 local climate experts.
About the Role
Do you have a passion for climate action? Are you confident engaging with external stakeholders? We're looking for two advisors to support school leaders, local authorities and others to carry out projects that reduce emissions and inspire students and the wider community. We know schools are eager to take climate action, but often lack the information to do so.
You will play an important role helping them develop their plans, secure funding, and work in partnership to achieve their goals. You will support future new initiatives announced by our coalition members, the Department for Education, or other organisations working in schools, to ensure a smooth flow of information, enabling schools to transition to zero carbon.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with up to 3 years of experience in administration which includes administering and monitoring databases.
