Overview/Purpose
To lead, deliver and continuously improve a programme of work that communicates the long-term environmental and social impact of a major infrastructure asset in London. This role will be central to shaping how the organisation demonstrates its legacy and future value across three interconnected areas:

• Environmental Impact & Data Reporting - analysing and presenting tunnel performance data, including water quality improvements, in collaboration with research institutions and internal teams.
• Strategic Partnerships & Responsible Business - managing and evaluating partnerships that support sustainability, social value, and community engagement, while identifying new opportunities for impact.
• Sustainability Strategy & Thought Leadership - contributing to the organisation's positioning as a responsible asset manager and leader in ESG, supporting senior stakeholders with credible insights and content for external forums and publications.

The role holder will ensure these programmes are delivered effectively, with a focus on strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. They will work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, communications, and operations, and will be responsible for integrating ESG metrics into reporting frameworks aligned with industry standards. This is a hands-on, purpose-driven role suited to someone passionate about sustainability, public value, and infrastructure excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy

• Develop and evolve the organisation's impact and sustainability strategy to reflect its transition from infrastructure delivery to asset management.
• Shape and communicate the long-term environmental and social value of the project, including its contribution to water quality, public health, and urban resilience.
• Support the leadership team with strategic insights and data to position the organisation as a thought leader in ESG and infrastructure excellence.
• Align sustainability and impact initiatives with broader organisational goals and stakeholder expectations.

Management and Oversight

• Lead the reporting and communication of tunnel performance data, including environmental metrics and partnership outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate existing partnerships, including those focused on social value, community engagement, and responsible business practices.
• Deliver clear, accessible reports and presentations on tunnel impact, including carbon emissions and ESG metrics.
• Manage external contracts and partnerships, ensuring performance and value for money.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage with external stakeholders, including research institutions, community groups, and industry bodies to promote the tunnel's legacy and future value.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential

• Proven experience in sustainability, impact management, ESG, or infrastructure-related roles.
• Strong understanding of environmental governance, social value, and sustainable finance.
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical data to diverse audiences, including water quality and carbon emission metrics.
• Experience managing partnerships and evaluating programme outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking skills.

Role overview

The Transformation Hub Manager will play a pivotal role in reshaping our service offerings by creating a vibrant, inclusive, and strengths-based hub for our communities - many of who are underserved, including asylum seekers, refugees, residents facing isolation, and those affected by homelessness. You will lead on the delivery and successful management of our National Lottery funded RenewALL Hub, transforming our ideas from concept into a sustainable, impactful centre for community wellbeing. Central to this role is continuing to drive the shift from a crisis-led service model to a holistic, strengths-based approach, ensuring the RenewALL hub empowers Newham residents to connect, grow, and thrive. A major part of this transformation will be designing and delivering a wide range of new activities and services. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Hub Development

• Lead a team to ensure the successful implementation of the RenewALL Hub project, as submitted to the National Lottery Community Fund, aligning all activities with our “Open House” strategy and theory of change.
• Champion and embed a strengths-based, “advantaged thinking” culture across all Hub operations, actively shifting the focus from deficits to assets.

Programme Design & Community Co-Production

• Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous evaluation of a diverse, inclusive weekly programme of activities, informed by community consultation and resident priorities.

WHAT IS OUR SECOND HOME

We are a youth movement that empowers people with refugee backgrounds to build community, become leaders, and flourish into adulthood in the place that they call home.

We are looking for a highly engaging Leadership & Volunteering Manager to lead and grow our leadership training programming, and to lead on the recruitment, development and retention of our pool of volunteers. You will work across our various hubs to ensure all volunteers are well-supported, feel valued, and are making meaningful contributions to OSH’s mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership Training & Development

• Oversee and continue to codify OSH’s LIT (Leaders in Training) course, including in-person and online sessions, and mentoring LITs on their first residential. This will include hands-on delivery, managing logistics, and working with volunteers and facilitators.

• Co-design and develop other leadership programmes for young people.

• Support young people from refugee backgrounds to move from participants to leaders within OSH.

• Lead the delivery of training and induction for new and returning volunteers in hubs, at pre camp training days and leaders retreats. This includes safeguarding, group dynamics, facilitating groups, and OSH values, but will also include identifying gaps and trends in skills and experiences.

• Help shape the pedagogy and outcomes of OSH’s leadership programmes.

Volunteer Strategy & Recruitment

• Ensure there is an active pipeline of people signing up for the LIT course

• Design and implement a volunteer recruitment strategy to attract a diverse range of volunteers from within OSH and externally.

Volunteer Engagement

• Develop progression pathways for volunteers.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

About the role

This role will be responsible for providing business support for the directorate to support effective leadership and streamlined ways of working across Income Generation. 

The postholder will support the operation of the Income Generation Leadership Team (IGLT) and assist in various aspects of organisational administration and development. It will support IGLT to define and shape priorities and support implementation of priority initiatives.  It will ensure that IGLT’s time is prioritised effectively on delivering the most critical priorities and that follow-up activities are completed.

This role will need to foster and develop credible and respected relationships with all key stakeholders including in other directorates – to ensure visibility and engagement on high priority programmes.

What will I be doing?

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The Senior Business Development Manager will work closely with the Health Team to identify, develop, and propose new initiatives, contributing to Hestia's ambitious growth targets. They will lead on tenders that align with organisational priorities, finalising technical questions and method statements, and ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on time. The role involves bid writing and review support, conducting research into health and business development models, and exploring integrated funding opportunities. The post-holder will also work alongside Operations and HR teams to develop staffing structures, service delivery models, and financial plans, including modelling the impact of TUPE where relevant.

In addition, the Senior Business Development Manager will support the mobilisation of successful tenders, participate in presentations and clarification interviews, and evaluate outcomes to inform future submissions. They will contribute to Hestia's development strategy by identifying new growth opportunities, supporting service redevelopment, and fostering partnerships or consortia as effective delivery methods. The role requires engagement with commissioners, attendance at strategic forums, production of reports, and participation in internal working groups, while maintaining commercial confidentiality and pursuing personal training and development to enhance understanding of Hestia's services.

Here's what the team will be looking for

We are seeking a highly organised and effective communicator with strong written and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in research, analysis, and preparing reports and recommendations. Experience in tender bid writing is essential. You should have a good understanding of safeguarding and the ability to address issues appropriately, along with knowledge of Health and Adult Social Care funding initiatives. The role requires someone experienced in working collaboratively within teams, providing professional technical advice, and supporting projects from inception to completion.

The Senior Fundraising Support & Services Manager will lead a team of two Fundraising Support Executives, providing pre-award support to income-generating teams in the UK, USA and internationally. The postholder will oversee the structuring, costing, and management of proposals and funding agreements, lead pledge administration and philanthropic scholarship processes, and improve operational processes. They will also represent the team on LSE’s CRM replacement project, ensuring that system design and implementation meets operational and compliance needs.

The successful candidate will have:

· Experience leading fundraising or advancement operations within higher education, not-for-profit, or a comparable complex organisation.

· Thorough knowledge of UK and international fundraising practices, including tax-efficient giving.

· Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing staff, and the ability to resolve complex problems and make autonomous decisions.

· Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

• Achieve Gift Aid sales conversion target through maximising new donor sign up and encouraging repeat donations.
• Achieve the shops Raffle sales targets through involving the shops team.
• To maintain high levels of shop presentation by merchandising and housekeeping to agreed standards as set out in the Shops Operations manual.
• Manage the stock levels of bought in/new goods, to include ordering of more stock as and when necessary and recording key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in holding and attending Fundraising events to promote the awareness of The Children’s Trust.
• To source links with local communities to promote Retail in the community via media and other sources.
• Role involves a degree of manual handling in sorting and lifting of stock.
