Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with UK employment law and best practices.
• Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing staff members.
• Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Communicate the employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data confidentiality and compliance with GDPR regulations.
• Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.

We have an opportunity to join our team and build on these achievements. We are recruiting for maternity cover for our Personal Assistant and Office Manager, who will be a key part of our team and play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission.

This is an all-encompassing role for an accomplished and confident Personal Assistant to support the Founders and Director of Research of an innovative and ambitious charity and oversee the management of the Duchenne UK office.

The successful candidate will be highly organised with strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of individuals, internally and externally. Reliability and a can‐do, proactive attitude is a must, along with having an outstanding commitment and sense of dedication to understanding, fulfilling and anticipating the principles' and office's needs and priorities.

The Personal Assistant and Office Manager will report to the Finance Manager and work alongside the Managing Director, CEO and Director of Research and Development.

Job Description:

 Duties to include, but not limited to:

• High volume diary management, including work and personal diary prioritisation and filtering out non-essential meetings.
• Answering, screening and responding as appropriate to incoming calls, visitors and correspondence.
• Preparing for internal and external meetings, calls and video conferences including confirming relevant materials are received, printed and bound for meetings.

• Management of travel arrangements. Scheduling and tracking domestic and international travel itineraries within several time zones.
• Administration support for the research team, including arranging meetings and assisting with event and meeting organisation.

• Management of expenses including arranging currency and processing expense claims in a timely manner.
• General office management and operational support including:
  • Liaising with suppliers / brokers (e.g. internet, energy, insurance)
  • Relationship management with office landlord
  • Overseeing office supplies and equipment
• Internal event organisation (e.g. staff away day, wellness day, staff meetings), including budget management, venue booking, overseeing delivery on site.
• Maintaining up‐to‐date contacts.
• Managing internal files and maintaining the confidentiality and organisation of file contents.
• Minute taking and writing, general secretarial and administrative support, including at Board meetings.
• Booking personal appointments for the CEO where necessary.

The role

Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to become more effective and strategic in their work. They will provide support to the leadership and governance of the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, Director of Finance and Operations and other team members as required to provide high-quality administrative and communications support to the organisation. The Executive Administrator will build strong relationships across GGF’s global team. The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment. 

They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions. 

English fluency is a must.

Chief Operating Officer

Purpose of the Financial and Management Accountant role is to:

We are seeking to appoint a Financial and Management Accountant – Commercial and Projects for the Museum and its trading company (RAFMEL), as part of a small finance team. This is a varied role, encompassing a wide range of financial responsibilities, and the successful candidate will act as business partner to the RAFMEL commercial teams and Museum project leads, providing reporting and analysis to support decision-making, developing monthly performance reports to monitor progress and investigate variances, whilst also being responsible for day-to-day financial operations.

The successful candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the small finance team and build relationships with non-finance heads of departments. You will be experienced in working to deadlines and have an attention for detail required to produce accurate first-time reports. Proficiency in Excel is essential and experience working with Sage200 is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities of our Financial and Management Accountant include:

• Taking responsibility for preparation and first review of monthly management accounts (including income and expenditure statement, balance sheet, cashflow statement, funds summary, 3 salary summary) and performance reports for RAFMEL, in an accurate and timely fashion, including any associated commentary and key performance indicators (KPI)
• Being responsible for accurate recording of all income and expenditure associated with RAFMEL and the Museum’s major projects
• Reconciliation of daily takings sheets reports from both sites and accurate monthly reporting of income by activity
• Preparation and posting of all journals for RAFMEL, such as accruals, prepayments deferred income, salaries and payroll, intercompany transactions
• Developing and providing performance reports to monitor progress, investigate variances and update forecasts for major projects for the Museum & RAFMEL as required, taking ownership of the processes required
• Identifying and agreeing performance indicators with senior managers for the Museum and establishing the processes for collecting the data

The Dalit Solidarity Network is a small human rights organisation working to eliminate caste-based discrimination in the UK and South Asia. Registering as an official charity in 2003, Dalit Solidarity Network UK continues to grow as an effective campaigning and advocacy organisation, working on the issue of caste discrimination in the UK and being an active player in the global movement.  Our major areas of work include documenting 'everyday casteism', building capacity of businesses to address caste-discrimination in overseas supply chains and UK operations and working with UK Higher Education Institutions to protect against caste-discrimination.

About the role:

We are seeking a part-time Office Administrator for 2 days/week, initially for one year with a possibility of renewal. The hours can be worked flexibly with prior agreement of the Director. Hybrid-working arrangements (from home and on site) will be considered.  

Main responsibilities:

Administration:

· Responsible for day-to-day administration and office management and providing secretarial assistance to the Director & diary management.

The Programme Administrator is a fast-paced, varied, and exciting role where you will play a key role supporting the IBAHRI Director and five IBAHRI Programme Lawyers and provide logistical, administrative, and financial support to IBAHRI projects worldwide.

In this role you will provide administrative support to the Volunteering and Community Networks Department and Head of Volunteering and Community Networks.

You’ll be proactive and highly motivated. Attention to detail is essential as is the ability to plan and manage a busy and varied workload to provide support on various tasks.

You will contribute to the smooth running of the department through managing diaries, booking meetings and being responsible for departmental invoice processing.

As a part of the Volunteer Support Admin Team you will provide high quality support to our Community Networks volunteers based across the UK.

You will ensure that all volunteer enquiries are resolved promptly, that information provided to volunteers is aligned to our organisational positions and standards that relevant information is recorded and appropriate follow-up actions are completed.

Your insight will help inform our wider Community Networks team on volunteer priorities and issues.

We are looking for a Development Events Manager to join the National Theatre Development Team.

The purpose of the role

The Development Events Manager’s role is to organise a portfolio of events and support of larger annual fundraising events. There is also an opportunity to instigate and creatively lead on participation projects.
