An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Health and Wellbeing team in the role of Health and Wellbeing Manager, whose primary objectives will be to manage the Health and Wellbeing Team and oversee the delivery and development of Fulham FC Foundation’s Health and Wellbeing programmes: More Than A Game, Fulham Teammates and Walking Football.

Our Health and Wellbeing programme aims to engage people of all ages across South West London in activities that will improve their physical and mental health, reduce isolation and increase confidence. The post holder will need to be dedicated, supportive, agile and self-motivated. They will also require experience managing and developing community projects, overseeing a team of project leads, building strong stakeholder relationships as well as an understanding of working in the non-for-profit/charity sector. The Health and Wellbeing Manager will have the opportunity to lead innovative programme developments and make decisions on the future landscape of our Health and Wellbeing work. The role will also require a flexible approach to working during the evenings and weekends when required to support the Foundation and oversee Health and Wellbeing programme delivery. 

The Health and Wellbeing Manager must:

· Have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in community programme development (health sector desirable)

· Have experience of overseeing funded programmes

· Have experience of creating and managing project budgets

· Have experience of managing people

· Have experience of monitoring and evaluating community programmes

Ideally, the Health and Wellbeing Manager will:

· Have experience delivering community programmes with adults and young people

· Have experience building stakeholder relationships with organisations such as the NHS and Local Authorities

· Have knowledge of the NHS landscape and future plans, particularly across South West London

· Have experience building and developing new health and wellbeing initiatives from scratch

· Have an understanding of the non-for-profit and charity sector

· Have a background in a community health environment

· Have knowledge of Football Club Community Organisations (CCOs)

Revenue Generation & Innovation

As Senior Grants Manager, Environment and Communities, you will identify, assess, and manage grants that contribute to these evolving areas of interest. 

A particular focus of the role will be developing strategic grants and partnerships that contribute to Environmental Sustainability.  This is a developing area of interest, supporting activity that restores the natural environment and enabling practices such as nature friendly farming and community growing.  Current grantees include the Sustainable Food Trust, the Wildlife Trust, and local farmer clusters.  

The Foundation has recently launched a ‘Green Fund’ pilot, supporting Buckinghamshire grantees to deliver progress in environmental sustainability.  The role will lead on the delivery of this programme.

As well as developing relationships with external stakeholders you will also closely collaborate with colleagues, making connections between grants and activities at Waddesdon Manor.  In particular, working closely with the Rothschild Foundation’s Sustainability and Conservation Department and the Education & Learning Department.

The role will also support the development and assessment of grants to the Rothschild Foundation’s Community Fund which is open to not for profit organisations in Buckinghamshire who support local communities, with a particular focus on disadvantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic development of our Environment programme, including current explorations in community growing, nature friendly farming and nature restoration.
• Leading on the delivery of a ‘Green Fund’ pilot, supporting grantees and funded activities.  This will include working closely with the Evaluation and Impact Manager and Operations Manager to review the programme and make recommendations for future delivery to Grants Committee
• Maintaining an overview of the portfolio of ‘Environment’ grants, sharing learning and identifying connections across grantees
• Keeping up to date on sector development, identify funding gaps, and emerging opportunities.
• Identifying and supporting potential applicants, conducting visits, guiding proposal development, and ensuring due diligence standards are met
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with grantees, conducting six-monthly catch up conversations, visiting funded activity and acting as a ‘critical friend’
• Supporting the delivery of our Communities funding, including assessment of applications to the Community Fund and occasional Trustee related community grants
• Producing regular updates for Trustees, including project updates and data insights, and contribute to creative ways of sharing the impact of our funding

Oversee the success of our Networks and Groups for staff from hospices across the UK, ensuring they remain coordinated, consistent and informed by experts and evidence. 

Collaborate closely with subject matter experts across the charity, to help deliver plan and deliver these virtual groups, which involve multiple hospice staff and external stakeholders across different subject areas.

Deliver and grow our integral Big Conversations series, which brings the hospice sector together on the biggest issues of the day.

We’re looking for someone who takes a consistent project management approach to leading virtual networks and large online meetings/webinars. Building strong internal and external relationships will be vital.

You might be working in the charity sector already, or bring strong technical experience delivering virtual events or online membership networks from other sectors. You don’t need to have a background in healthcare.

You’ll join a close, 16-strong Programmes Team at Hospice UK, made up of experienced clinicians, sector-leading project and event managers, and specialists in evidence and research. We work together and alongside external experts, to design and deliver evidence-based programmes, projects and events, which help hospices provide the very best care in their communities. 

At Hospice UK the job title for this role is Network Manager. In other organisations this role might be called Virtual Events Manager or Membership Events Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Philanthropic Fundraising will serve as the cornerstone of administrative support for ULI’s philanthropic fundraising initiatives in Europe. The role will report to the Vice President, Business Development & Membership on a day-to-day basis and work closely with the Chair of the ULI Charitable Trust and CEO ULI Europe. 

The role will have a functional reporting line to the Chief (Philanthropic) Fundraising Officer. This position requires excellent relationship management, organisational and communication skills. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative and management support to the philanthropic fundraising initiatives of the ULI Charitable Trust (and the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee) and ULI Europe, including fundraising campaigns, processing collections (through ULI CT or ULI Europe) and preparing donor reports in cooperation with the ULI Finance team in the US.  
• Oversee and coordinate design and development of marketing collateral, presentations supporting fundraising campaigns, in collaboration with the ULI Europe Marketing and Communications team. 
• Collaborate closely with team members of the ULI Europe business Development and Membership team, in addition to ULI’s country directors and governance director to support the planning of, and coordinate the implementation of the European philanthropic fundraising strategy determined by ULI Europe (namely by the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee), focusing on both donations from individuals based in Europe and donations from European philanthropic foundations and government programmes;  
• Work with and manage relationships with individual and institutional donors, in close collaboration with the corporate accounts team, CEO, ULI Europe and the Chair of the Charitable Trust / Chair of the ULIF Europe Committee; 
• Work in close collaboration with Research & Advisory Services and ESG Programmes colleagues, to identify and research (third party) philanthropic funding and grant opportunities and assist in the preparation of applications for philanthropic funding from (third party) foundations and government agencies; 
• Coordination of proposal writing for potential foundation funding, in close collaboration with the research, marketing communications and legal and compliance teams.
• Set up and implement application, reporting and compliance process for philanthropic gifts for ULI Europe. 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• At least 6-8 years’ experience working in a similar role. 
• Experience working in an international business environment. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Excellent attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• A track record of managing transactions or projects that required multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.
• A quick learner who is able to adapt easily
• Proficiency in one other European language preferred. 
• Real estate background desired, but not essential. 
• Occasional international travel required.

Rock UK Head Office Team

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to provide high quality management and control of the finance function at our multi-site Christian outdoor adventure charity. Reporting to the Finance Director, the post holder will work closely with members of the senior management team to facilitate the smooth operation of Rock UK’s finances. He or she will be able to clearly and respectively communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff, suppliers and other stakeholders of all faiths and none.

The successful applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent, hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), have proficiency in using computerised financial systems, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

The Head of Safer Cultures (Sport) is a senior leadership role within the organisation, responsible for driving high-impact safer cultures and safeguarding strategies and projects across a range of sectors, with a primary focus on Sport. This role requires a highly experienced professional who has led cultural change and safeguarding work at a strategic level, is confident working at executive and board levels, and brings a strong understanding of how safeguarding principles apply across different organisational cultures.

The postholder will play a key role in leading consultancy projects, influencing strategic cultural change and safeguarding decisions, and contributing to the development of content and resources

This is a full-time role and is primarily home-based with some planned travel and so candidates can be based anywhere in the country.

Role Purpose

As Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for generating sustainable income through our fundraising activities, along with ensuring that Beaumond House is continuously building strong relationships with our supporters, local businesses and wider community as part of our income generation strategy.

You will lead and support the Beaumond House fundraising team in developing sustainable income to help ensure our charitable work continues to make an impact in Newark and Sherwood for future generations.  

Main Duties

• Responsible for devising, implementing, and developing innovative fundraising activity plans to ensure dependable sources of income for now and in the future.
• Work with your team, to build long-lasting relationships with our supporters, volunteers, businesses, grant makers and wider community.
• Manage the fundraising team operations and plan day-to-day activities.
• Ensure that all fundraising activity and donor communications is compliant and to best practice, keeping up to date with latest fundraising regulations.
•  Work closely with senior leadership team, in particular Head of Retail and Head of Care to ensure joined-up fundraising campaigns are in place across the organisation.
• Working closely with Head of Finance to ensure all income is correctly categorised and allocated.
• Be responsible for ensuring donor data and relationship management communications are correctly populated within CRM system.
• Oversee our presence across online platforms, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and Beaumond House brand.
• Continuously track and report fundraising performance and budgets to Director of Income Generation and CEO, producing monthly and ad-hoc reports to support strategic decision making.
• Support in developing future strategies for income generation.

Operational and Management Duties

• Responsible line management of the Fundraising team, holding team-wide meetings, 1-2-1 sessions, annual appraisals and development plans. Creating a positive working environment within the department to enable all members of the team are productive and motivated.
• Mentor and coach members of the team, identify and support with development needs in team knowledge or experience, offering support and best practice advice.
• Delivering a tactical programme to ensure the successful implementation of fundraising plans and strategy, supporting each member of the fundraising team to meet their targets.
• Identify and clarify relationship overlaps between fundraising team members to ensure clarity for donors and supporters.
•  Get involved and support the team with fundraising activities as required. Such as attending fundraising events and activities outside normal working hours, weekends and Bank Holidays when required.
• Support and encourage the team in working effectively with volunteers. Ensuring volunteers have purpose, feel valued, well supported and part of the Beaumond House team.
• Abide by organisational policies and practices, including the equal opportunities policy, confidentiality code and code of conduct.
• Ensure that every activity adheres to the health and safety procedures and guidelines, including carrying out risk assessments in line with policy.
• Hold regular meetings with the fundraising and wider hospice teams to ensure good practice and collaboration.
• Liaise with peers across region and attend meetings organised by hospice specific groups.
• Undertake any reasonable task requested by your line manager.

Strategic Support

• Maintain and build on the established brand of Beaumond House, maximising opportunities with local communities and outlets.
• Be the voice, and champion, of our supporters and donors throughout everything we do. Maintaining feedback through items such as supporter feedback groups.
• Champion innovation in income generation, identify emerging trends in philanthropy, digital fundraising and donor engagement.
• Prepare detailed income and expenditure forecasts and project schedules in line with the organisation’s objectives.
• Support in the development of future strategic projects and priorities with Senior Leadership Team.
•  Prepare reports on fundraising performance for board and sub-committees as required.

Administration Duties

• Take responsibility for own administration, always completing to the highest and most thorough standards.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records using agreed systems, such as Xero, Beacon CRM and MS Office 365. Use these to set up and run reports to provide information.
• Support directly or via signposting for IT queries eg. Use of MS 365, Beacon CRM, Gift Aid.
• Respond in a timely manner to enquiries/queries.

General Duties

• To develop and maintain a sound understanding of all facets of the work undertaken by Beaumond House and the hospice movement.
• Work collaboratively and cooperatively with your Beaumond House colleagues.
• Respect confidentiality applying to all areas of Beaumond House.
• Abide by the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Maintain awareness of Safeguarding responsibilities.

The Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) is the learned society and professional body for geography and geographers. The Position

The IT Manager will work with our outsourced helpdesk provider to deliver maximum availability of the network, data and systems, to ensure we are secure and compliant and to provide support and training to our staff. The IT infrastructure includes an extensive wired and Wi-Fi network throughout the building with approaching 100 Wi-Fi access points. This network is critical for the smooth running of the Society’s day to day activities and the successful operation of events on the premises, which account for turnover in excess of £1m p.a.

The IT Manager will also be the internal technical/project lead on the ongoing development of the Society’s CRM system, Centrepoint’s oomi product.

Salary and Benefits:

This is a permanent, full-time post subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months. The salary range for this post is £45,000-£55,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. The post is based in Kensington, London.
