JOB PURPOSE
UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive team player who can join us as a Senior Officer, Direct Marketing, within the Individual Giving Team.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for some of our key donor development activities: you will be a confident communicator and experienced project manager, with a strong knowledge of donor development key touchpoints and best practice, as well as a tracked record of managing telemarketing and Direct Mail campaigns

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead on the overall donor development offline programme for both cash and committed donors, ensuring a strong onboarding and onward journey is in place, and that key touchpoints are leveraged to deepen engagement and increase donors’ Lifetime Value.
- Work with digital fundraising colleagues to create integrated, multichannel campaigns and an effective, donor-first giving journey.
- Provide colleagues with strategic guidance, and technical support if required, to deliver warm appeals via Direct Mail that meet six-figures campaign targets.
- Manage our Telemarketing programme, to successfully launch and deliver activities such as conversion, upgrade, reactivation, and welcome calling.
- Ensure an insight-led thanking programme is in place, with key moments identified throughout the year to acknowledge support and communicate impact.
- Work with key stakeholders across digital and offline teams to ensure we maintain a strong retention rate whilst growing our Regular Giving file.
- Remain flexible and rapidly respond to emergency situations.
- Work with our Data team to identify the best approach to data and segmentation for each project.
- Manage production processes, developing supplier briefs and managing approval stages and end of campaign reviews.
- Work with our suppliers to ensure campaign fulfilment is in place and collaborate with our Supporter Care function to monitor responses and identify issues/opportunities.
- Ensure cost effective fundraising, manage individual campaign budgets and identify opportunities to improve ROIs.
- Stay up to date with issues affecting displaced & refugee communities, campaigns from international teams and reports from the field. Scope new fundraising themes.
- Share creative and insights with UK colleagues, global markets and HQ, participating in training seminars, workshops and international skill shares where applicable.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
Essential Experience
- Experience of working in a fundraising environment, ideally in a medium-to-big-size charity.
- Experience in managing onboarding and ongoing donor development activities.
- Experience of scoping, briefing in, managing, and delivering integrated fundraising campaigns that delivered against budget.
- Experience of managing Telemarketing campaigns with a tracked record of successes
- Strong experience in delivering and managing all aspects of successful Direct Mail campaigns.
- Understanding of digital fundraising best practice and how digital channels can integrate and support offline activities to increase donors’ Lifetime Value

About the role

You will develop policy positions on areas of CUF’s work in relation to poverty that will give a firm basis for our work, and that we will be able to speak out on with confidence and knowledge based on connection to grassroots churches and organisations. The Role

Kinly is a fast-growing social impact start-up with a mission to help older people live independently for longer. We are focused on the megatrend of ageing demographics, improving healthspan and helping to reduce the economic and social burden of ageing.
Kinly supports older people and their families to understand what support and allowances they are eligible for and then does all the complex forms/applications for them. By doing so, we unlock £5,000 a year per person on average, helping people to afford health/care support, physios, taxis, and at-home equipment.
A majority of older people are cut off from the support they need due to barriers to access – disability, low income, lack of internet or lack of family. We help people navigate a complex system and make ageing easier. Our services are free at the point of use, and fully accessible offline (using only a landline phone), but we use a lot of technology to deliver the service.
Kinly was founded by a previous unicorn founder (insure-tech) and ex-Managing Director of an AIM-listed healthcare company. The business is based in West London, with teams focused on Benefits, Customer Success, Tech and Operations. The business has a very senior advisory Board, including Government advisors and health and care leaders. Kinly’s Head of Benefits formerly lead a successful Information & Advice Service at Age UK, gaining two external Quality Marks under her leadership.
About the role
This is an exciting new role for someone with welfare benefits advice experience.
You will complete benefits checks and applications for our clients, their families and their carers. This includes providing support with Personal Independence Payment, Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit, Carer’s Allowance, Council Tax and Housing Benefit applications.

Main Responsibilities
Providing information and advice over the telephone to older people, their carers and relatives
Completing benefits checks and advising clients accurately and appropriately in relation to their welfare benefit and related entitlements
Completing benefit applications
Holistically exploring a client’s financial, health and care needs to fully understand and tailor support to their specific circumstances
Communicating with empathy, patience, and good listening skills
Presenting and discussing information with clients in an accessible way, enabling them to understand and make informed choices
Identifying and researching information using trusted resources.
Understanding how regional differences can affect benefit entitlement (e.g., Local Housing Allowance) and advise accordingly

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.
We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a Bespoke Event Manager to join our Events and Community Fundraising team at WWF-UK.

What you’ll be doing …
The post-holder will serve as social media manager, overseeing the Society’s social media accounts, and contributing to the maintenance and effectiveness of the Society’s other key digital communications channels such as our newsletter and website. They will support the Society’s Web Manager with content sourcing and webpage creation for the Geological Society’s website and newsletter, sent to around 11,000 subscribers.
Overall responsibilities / requirements …
The post-holder will be responsible for implementing the Society’s broader communications strategy, and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to develop communications outputs that further the Society’s mission and ensure communications content is current, coherent and comprehensive.
The Digital Communications Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering dynamic digital content to inform, engage, and motivate diverse audiences, helping to raise awareness of the Geological Society’s work. The role will ensure a consistent voice across social media, websites, and email communications to enhance visibility, strengthen member and stakeholder engagement.
Social Media
- Act as Social Media Manager – leading on oversight of the Society’s social media accounts (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn) – with responsibility for implementing our social media strategy in line with the Society’s wider

As an Education Programme Manager, you will manage and deliver programmes across our education and equalities work. Current areas include the Healthy Schools and Healthy Early Years London programmes, the EYSEND Partnership supporting early years and family hubs to improve inclusion, and national networks such as the Special Educational Consortium (SEC).
Alongside programme delivery, you will gather and analyse evidence, contribute to consultation responses and help build consensus among a wide range of stakeholders. This work supports our aim to influence and improve practice and policy for disabled children and those with SEN.
The role involves managing complex programmes from planning through delivery and evaluation. You will monitor budgets, produce resources and reports, and organise engaging events and training for education professionals. You will work closely with schools, early years settings, local authorities, health and public health partners, professional and voluntary sector networks, funders and policy makers, as well as parents, carers and children and young people, turning evidence and insight into practical impact for education.

A Hybrid Role
This role will work across both frontline delivery and input into the administration of the Duty system that underpins all HHPA’s work. It’s anticipated the worker’s role will be split roughly 50/50 across both elements of the work. Having a staff member working across both will give us a valuable insight into how frontline and Duty can work better together. It is also a good opportunity for the worker to gain experience in all aspects of project delivery, which could be a valuable first step for anyone interested in project management or leadership.
The Duty work
The HHPA Duty Team makes sure the Homeless Health Peer Advocacy service runs safely and smoothly. They handle bookings from partner organisations, match referrals with Peer Advocates, and organise all the practical details – like booking transport, giving travel directions, and confirming who will attend each appointment. They use a specially designed Salesforce database to keep track of appointments, update records, and measure the impact of the service. A key part of their job is running the Duty System, which checks Peer Advocates in and out of jobs so that everyone is safe and supported.
The team is also the main point of contact for partners, frontline staff, and volunteers. They answer questions, make sure referrals have all the right information, and keep everything running to schedule. They look after data security, maintain good relationships with partner agencies, and make sure volunteers and workers have what they need to do their work well. By taking care of the behind-the-scenes work, the Duty Team frees up the frontline team to focus on supporting people to attend healthcare appointments and improve their health.
The pan-London Caseworker work
We need this role to support people experiencing homelessness in Boroughs where support needs are extremely high, but where we don't have the capacity or flexibility through our other funding to meet their needs. Most of our Caseworkers are funded by individual Boroughs and can only work in that area. This role will be able to work in any of the Boroughs where we deliver HHPA so will give us the flexibility to go to where the need is greatest rather than being fixed in a single local authority area. As a more senior role in our HHPA service, the Caseworker will use their skills and experience to focus on people in the most complex and difficult situations, including those grappling multiple connected issues around physical and mental health, addiction, trauma, disabilities, and more.

Sibs is the UK charity dedicated to supporting siblings of disabled children and adults. As our YoungSibs Information Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality information and resources to support children and young people who are growing up with a disabled brother or sister.
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage and develop new information and self-help resources for school-age young siblings
- To respond directly to young siblings’ requests for information and support
- To respond directly to parental requests for information and support submitted via the main Sibs website
- To build relationships with statutory and voluntary sector organisations in order to explore opportunities to increase Sibs’ reach to young siblings
About You
You’re an excellent communicator, with an understanding of the children’s sector. You will need a sharp eye for detail and a passion for providing accessible, user-friendly information for young people. You will have an understanding of the lifelong impact of being a sibling to a disabled and skilled in writing for different audiences.
- Experience of one-to-one direct supportive work with children and young people. Experience of direct working with siblings of disabled children and/or young carers is desirable.
- Experience of developing resource materials for children and young people.
- Experience of working with children’s services in the statutory and/or voluntary sector
- Knowledge of statutory and voluntary support available to siblings, young carers, and children in need
- Experience of managing and developing an information service
