This is an exciting time to be joining our organisation. We are looking for two trustees to join our Board, who will bring financial expertise, particularly in investments and fundraising, with the view that one individual will become the new Honorary Treasurer.

By joining the Board of Trinity, you’ll be joining a dedicated team with a shared ambition to provide the best quality care for our patients, helping them to make the best of every moment.

Potential Trustees should be able to demonstrate they have the following:

• Commitment to the charity and its vision and charitable objectives • Strategic vision suitable to support the charitable objectives

• Ability to make independent judgements and think creatively

• Understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of charity trusteeship

• Ability to work effectively in a team

• Willingness to devote the necessary time and effort, including 10 meetings a year (4 Board; 4 sub-committee meetings; 2 Board Away Days)

• Willingness to attend fundraising and awareness raising events on behalf of the charity at least three times a year.

Our meetings:

• Our Board meetings are held four-times per year on Tuesday evenings, 17.00-19.00, in person at the hospice

• We run two whole-day Board Away Days each year to provide additional time for strategic discussion and trustee development

• We have four Committees which all meet four-times per year, with meetings on Tuesday afternoons and evenings, and Wednesday evenings

 We are seeking an experienced and organised Programme Co-ordinator to lead a global fellowship programme during a parental leave cover period.

This unique initiative brings together activists, journalists, lawyers, and filmmakers working on projects that explore pressing questions of social, economic, and environmental justice.

The role holder will lead the full range of Shared Assets’ research projects, from scoping and design through to delivery, follow up and evaluation. They will need to have experience of designing and carrying out research and learning activities with a wide range of partners - including academics, community groups, NGOS and local authorities - in collaborative ways. In the past we have worked on research projects of many scales - from large European Union funded consortia, to smaller, one-off pieces which help a local authority or community organisation move forward with their work. Often our research work involves collaborating with a group of other civil society organisations to provide evidence of why change in the land, food and farming system is needed, and generate action on these issues. 

The main areas of work are to: manage and deliver funded research projects (or projects with a research component) with partners, reflect with colleagues on what we are learning within and across workstreams as an organisation and sector, use this knowledge to create new ideas for research work, and support fundraising for these, as part of our ‘infrastructure’ role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-known Children’s Charity on a permanent basis. The postholder will be supporting the Finance team with the production of management accounts and will assist in the finance business partnering function. This role will involve working closely with budget holders to ensure a smooth operation of the financial management function.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare monthly management accounts and provide commentary

· Compile and analyse financial data to conduct detailed variance analysis (actual vs. budget)

We are looking for a Team Leader to lead our Street Navigator Service in Birmingham. You will be a competent communicator, with the ability to work independently, and possess excellent organisational skills. You should have experience of supervising workers, and you will also need to demonstrate experience and/or related skills in relation to enhancing services, ideally using innovative and collaborative approaches.

The is a particularly exciting time to join the team as this is a newly acquired service in implementation phase. You will therefore have the opportunity to design and lead on the new service, really putting your mark on it.  

The Birmingham Street Navigator Service works with Birmingham citizens (single adults and/or couples 25 years old or above) with accommodation that are outdoors engaging in ‘street activity’ e.g. rough sleeping, begging, street drinking/drug using and other ‘social activities’. We provide intensive, wraparound support to help citizens back into their accommodation, reducing their level of street-based activity and associated anti-social behaviour, with the overall aim of reintegrating citizens into their local communities and reducing their reliance on the streets.

You will lead a team of Street Navigators working within a local multi-agency network, including outreach services, Community Safety teams, local BID teams, commissioned/non-commissioned accommodation providers, West Midlands Police and British Transport Police.

It is important that the service is available to our citizens when it is needed. Therefore, the team may be required to work outside of the conventional working week. Therefore as Team Leader, there may be occasional need to work evenings, weekends and on bank holidays.

The Role

This is a senior-level opportunity for a strategic and hands-on marketing professional to lead content, campaigns, and digital engagement. Responsibilities

• Finance business partner to project teams and country offices, offering financial management support.
• Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditure and cashflows, and prepare management accounts, including variance analyses and supporting narrative reports.

This is a varied and strategic role, combining the production of management accounts with genuine business partnering across a broad range of academic and non-academic budget holders. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in linking finance with curriculum planning and wider organisational strategy. The role does not include line management responsibilities.

• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing strategic financial advice that drives performance.
• Deliver accurate monthly reporting and insightful analysis to support decision-making at Executive and Leadership level.
