JOB TITLE: Lead Youth Services Worker (Northern Ireland)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To develop, implement and evaluate the Banter Project youth service in partnership with adopted young people in Northern Ireland.  These young people range in age from 14-25 years and live throughout Northern Ireland.  The role will primarily work with the project participants, but has additional relationships with community organisations, educational establishments and employers to ensure that all project goals and outcomes are efficiently and effectively met.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To lead the development and delivery of all elements of the Banter Project adopted young people’s service within Northern Ireland in a fun, interactive, interesting and an ability appropriate manner.

• To support the project participants to play an active role in the design and implementation of a programme of monthly activities for adopted young people. Sustaining and developing a monthly social hub, supporting the development of basic life-skills, and preparation for opportunities in further education, training, employment.

• To support a Youth Advisory Group (YAG) in its role to enable adopted young people to steer the Banter Project while developing skills which promote independence, personal development, social and life skills, leadership, and community involvement.

• To organise and supervise the work of the Youth Services Support Worker to deliver the Banter Project. 

• To provide opportunities to connect with, and signpost to, relevant services, particularly those who work with care experienced young people.

• To develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation to review individual goals, track progress and impact, via data and analysis of outcomes to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement.

• To record service activity using the electronic data management systems to collate in preparation for reporting and learning opportunities.

• To gather output and outcome data from the Banter Project service in accordance with the quality assurance systems within AUK. 

• Work with other staff members to deliver a high-quality project for our adopted young people and their adoptive parents.  Work as part of a team to contribute to a positive work environment and shared goals. 

• To attend internal and external training/meetings as appropriate, to remain connected with broader adoption issues, relevant policies, working practices, and network with other youth work providers in Northern Ireland.

• To engage in supervision and professional development.

The Community Fundraising Team is an integral part of the Charity Fundraising Portfolio, by supporting a diverse range of inspiring supporter led fundraising activities. It is an exciting time to join the Team, as we plan for 25/26.

You will be one our 6 Regional Community Fundraisers, based across the UK. Covering London & Central England, you will focus on our key audiences of Individuals, Supporter Groups, Community organisations, Regional Corporates & Volunteers. Through the provision of exceptional stewardship & fundraising support, you will engage the community, maximising opportunities to raise funds in the Region. You will make the most of your boundless energy & creativity to inspire our community and will be the regional driving force, ensuring our Supporter Groups continue to thrive, & our annual Community Fundraising Campaigns including, The Big Bake & Twilight Walk Own Walks are a success.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Developing & implementing a Regional Community Fundraising Strategy 25/26.
• Achieving agreed regional fundraising KPIs & contributing to the overall delivery of annual fundraising budgets and targets.
• Recruiting, building and maintaining relationships with the Community across the Region. Aiming to increase their fundraising and encourage their ongoing participation in events and activities. This may be through community fundraising or using our fundraising products or initiatives.
• Recruiting, training and managing a network of regional volunteers who will support activity in the Region.
• Working collaboratively across the wider Charity Team to identify fundraising opportunities & maximise income in the region.
• Keeping our CRM fully up to date with information about our supporters and their activities. Using that data to understand what motivates our supporters in order to provide excellent stewardship.

Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager

About the Role

· Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accommodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage.  The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.

· In this role, you will provide direct support to all the women, as well as holding a small case load of residents who you will keywork.

· You will work closely with support workers and the in-house psychologist. You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.

· You will undertake 8-hour shifts, normally Monday to Friday but with flexibility for weekend working, covering the hours 8am to 8pm. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.

Salary range: £25,000-£28,000

The Edinburgh International Festival is looking for two Development Officers to help us present this unparalleled celebration of the performing arts, which brings some of the most exciting and creative artists working today to audiences from around the world. 

We are seeking two relationship-driven and detail-oriented people to join our Development team as our new Philanthropy and Partnerships Officers.

The Philanthropy Officer will deliver and grow the Festival’s successful membership schemes, nurture supporter relationships, deliver engaging fundraising events and strategic donor communications, and design and implement creative and revenue-generating appeals and  initiatives. With support from the Individual Giving Manager, you will work collaboratively across the Development team in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and creativity, as well as excellent time-management, communication and administrative skills.

We are also looking to recruit a Partnerships Officer who will join a team responsible for managing and growing relationships with corporate, international, and strategic partners. You will support the delivery of high-quality partnership management across all stages—from proposal development and reporting to stewardship and event coordination. You’ll also take ownership of a portfolio of entry-level partners and can build your skills through hands-on experience.

The Philanthropy and Partnerships team work closely together to maintain and expand our supporter base. We are looking for people who share our passion for the arts and commitment to excellent service to continue to grow Festival’s reach and impact.

The role

Effective financial management is central to our strategy and operating model. The Finance Manager will be crucial in determining how we manage our finances, resources and operations whilst embedding a culture of financial efficiency and effective controls.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Interim Finance Manager will lead on financial matters and be expected to provide critical financial information, insightful analysis and timely reporting to facilitate the growth of the Charity.

The role is standalone but working within a closeknit team. It with therefore have a degree of autonomy but will be expected to contribute to the wider development of the Charity. This is a pivotal appointment within the Charity and will provide some broad exposure to the Board and Investment Committee.

We are therefore seeking a dynamic qualified accountant who has had wide exposure to financial reporting and processes, preferably within a fundraising Charity. Being a financial ‘all rounder’, there is a real opportunity to contribute to the way the Charity operates by instilling sound financial operations and providing meaningful financial reporting. The role provides an opportunity to lead the finance function and will suit a progressive accountant looking for this kind of responsibility.

We would therefore be looking for an individual that has demonstrable experience in operating financial functions and has the personality to fit within a charity that works collaboratively.

We are looking for someone to join the Media Trust team as a Project Coordinator on a part-time basis (3-4 days/ week). 

This position is an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator who is passionate about social justice and empowering charities to drive social change and enhance their impact. This Project Coordinator role is a key part of our Charity Services team, providing administrative and coordination support across several of our training and mentoring programmes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support the delivery of programmes, training, and events, ensuring they meet the needs of charities and community organisations 

• Lead on participant engagement, acting as the key contact for charities and coordinating with trainers, volunteers, and partners 

• Manage logistics and administration, including scheduling activities, maintaining records (Salesforce/Eventbrite), and handling contracts and invoices 

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Team to keep programme information and outreach up to date 

• Support monitoring and evaluation by managing data, surveys and progress against targets 
   

What we are looking for in you 

• Passion for supporting charities, community organisations, and alignment with the values of Media Trust 

• An interest in communications, media, digital, and campaigns 

• Strong project coordination, planning, and organisational skills, with experience in organising training and events, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. 

• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and written skills 

• Comfortable working with people, managing relationships, and speaking in front of groups 

• Skilled in using digital tools (e.g., Zoom, Eventbrite, Survey Monkey) and managing data effectively
