This includes properties where the responsibility for repairs and maintenance is that of the Charity and equally of other parties such as landlords and housing associations. The role will include managing existing external contractor relationships and housing association repairs and maintenance performance, as well as introducing new supplier contracts where required according to the wider needs of the charity. The role will also include managing major/complex projects on behalf of the charity and supporting other areas of the department ensuring properties remain compliant.
*Appointments will be at the minimum of the band.

The Legacy Giving Manager will collaborate closely with the Head of Fundraising to oversee the legacy and in-memoriam giving program. The purpose of the role is to ensure exceptional experiences for current and potential legacy supporters with the aim to secure long-term strategic support through establishing a strong, sustainable pipeline of legacy pledges. In addition, the Legacy Giving Manager will take the lead in fostering a legacy giving culture internally working closely with colleagues across the organisation to promote legacy and in-memoriam giving messages.
The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in developing and executing successful legacy giving strategies, particularly around legacy stewardship. A strong personal track record of securing significant legacy support and lasting relationships is imperative along with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams internally and externally. A sound understanding of current charity law, compliance, and fundraising best practices pertaining to legacy fundraising and administration is crucial along with a passion for the work of Camphill Village Trust.

The organisation offers a flexible working environment, with a fully remote working pattern and occasional travel for engagement activities and donor meetings.
This role will play a key part in maximising income for the charity by developing and managing existing relationships and identifying new major donors to secure gifts upwards of £5,000.
Key duties include:
· Raising funds for key projects in line with agreed income targets, making asks at a 4, 5 and 6 figure level.
· Recruiting new philanthropic support into the supporter pipeline whilst managing an engaged pool of existing donors.
· Regularly attending meetings and events with key major donors to maximise income and charity profile.
· Work collaboratively across the charity to research, identify and develop new funding opportunities to achieve strategic objectives.
Experience required:
· Significant experience of managing new and existing high-value fundraising relationships, with a comprehensive understanding of major donor fundraising.
