Teaching Resources at Unifrog
One of the most important parts of Unifrog is a searchable library of hundreds of teaching resources, covering careers guidance, progression, SEL, and PSHE.
Each week the lessons are used by tens of thousands of teachers in the UK and around the world.

FPA is a campaigning organisation that sets out to attack the root causes of fuel poverty along with the specific injustices facing people and communities. Working closely with pensioners groups, trades unions, disabled campaigners, tenants’ organisations and others on the frontline of fuel poverty, we’re using protest and direct action to fight for real, sustainable solutions to the cold homes crisis. We are looking for a committed senior organiser, who shares our passion and values, to bring energy and imagination to developing our base and supporting our members to build their power.
About the role
Fuel Poverty Action (FPA) was started in 2011 by climate activists who wanted to ensure that the green energy transition doesn’t happen at the expense of those with less social and economic power. Rather, they saw the break with fossil fuels as an opportunity to end the scourge of fuel poverty in the UK - a chance to rethink priorities and design inequality out of the energy system.
Immediately, they were drawn into community-based struggles for energy justice, against false, profit-driven solutions and maladministration of ‘green’ measures with no accountability to tenants and residents.
Over the years others joined the fight, growing FPA to a small membership-led organisation comprising people at the sharp end of fuel poverty - people of all ages and backgrounds, mainly located in London. Since 2022, funding has enabled us to employ a small, dispersed team who are accountable to directors and a membership that is now UK-wide.
We are now looking for an experienced, senior organiser to help FPA grow and evolve our membership network further. We want to reach more people and support members to be active within FPA so that we can build our political impact and remain meaningfully member-led.
We are seeking a flexible person with significant leadership experience who will be confident working as part of a small team, capable of outward facing work and internal management. You will have experience of organising in collective campaigns, including digitally, and a background in grassroots or community-based action, with a strong commitment to inclusive and anti-oppressive practice.
As the Organising Lead, you will join our Campaigns Lead and Operations Lead as the third pillar of our self-managing Coordination Team. While line-managing other colleagues and enabling the contributions of members who are unpaid, you will yourself be a member of FPA, and answerable to the group.
We use the digital platform Action Network to run campaigns and communicate with FPA supporters. Our ideal candidate would have the skills to incorporate ladders, tags and custom fields into our digital campaigns to maximise online to offline impact and convert list growth into membership. About the Role
As Policy and Public Affairs Officer at the National Youth Agency, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of youth work in England. You’ll be part of influencing national policy and driving change that directly impacts young people’s lives. Key responsibilities for this role will include:
Policy and public affairs support

- Compile and analyse data from various sources to support policy briefs, reports, and other written materials.

Event support

- Represent the Policy Team at external and internal meetings, policy forums and events.

About the Youth Endowment Fund
We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
Last year, 244 people in England and Wales tragically died after being assaulted with a knife. Of these, 32 were children. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them. Even when violence doesn’t strike directly, we know that the fear of violence has a terrible effect on children’s lives. One in 12 women will be a victim of violence against women and girls each year in England and Wales. Our Children, Violence and Vulnerability (CVV) research with teenage children showed that 33% of teenagers have encountered online content that encourages violence against women and girls.
The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build an exceptional body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed. We then need to work with the right people that can make change happen, across systems, policies and practice, to have a real impact on reducing violence affecting children’s lives.
Violence against Young Women and Girls
At the heart of our work is getting clear on what works. We are looking for someone who can lead our research and change agenda on violence against young women and girls (VAWG). We have built the foundations of this work by:
- developing our understanding of experiences of violence through our Children, Violence and Vulnerability (CVV) research with teenage children;
- reviewing evidence on the effectiveness of interventions that aim to prevent relationship violence and violence affecting young women and girls, which is summarised in our Toolkit; and
- ensuring a strong focus on VAWG prevention in our Education Systems Guidance and Education Practice Guidance, based on the evidence we have for relationship violence prevention delivery in education settings.
There is still a lot to do. We need to fund new research to fill gaps in our understanding of what works. We need to turn this evidence into actionable recommendations and sustainable change that will keep children safe from violence.
Key Responsibilities
The Violence against Young Women and Girls Lead will lead the VAWG research and change agenda for YEF.
You will:
Be the YEF’s expert on VAWG
- Making sure we understand the key issues, stay on top of the latest research and are connected to the right people.
Lead YEF’s research agenda on VAWG
- Commissioning research that fills important gaps in knowledge and leads to important changes in policy and practice.
Develop evidence-based recommendations on the prevention of VAWG.
- Drawing on research and expert insight to produce recommendations for systems and practice guidance, across the seven essential sectors that we work with: children’s services, education, health, neighbourhoods, policing, youth services, and youth justice.
- Writing and publishing evidence briefings and recommendations for policy makers and system leaders about how to prevent VAWG.
- Working across YEF teams to ensure that YEF recommendations on VAWG are incorporated across our evidence and change products, including systems, sector and practice guidance, the Toolkit and implementation resources.
Develop and lead a change strategy.
- Developing great relationships with senior leaders, policymakers, commissioners, and key stakeholders connected to VAWG across England and Wales.
- Generating a strong understanding of key issues and needs across systems and sectors and building credibility and trust in YEF’s evidence products and recommendations.
- Creating practical tools and resources that help leaders put evidence into action.
- Developing, managing and tracking your change plan to get more senior leaders to be aware of and use our guidance, tools and resources, continuously looking for data-driven improvements.
- Delivering events and presentations to effectively connect people with the evidence.

About the role
We’re looking for a Social Worker to support children and young people diagnosed with cancer in our Birmingham Team.
We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families using a needs based assessment framework. The work we do is rewarding but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community.
This role is part home, part site-based. Your contractual base will be both Home and Birmingham Children's Hospital, with an occasional need to work at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and other hospitals in the surrounding area.

This role will support the delivery of several activities within our portfolio of activities on climate change, the environment, and mental health. The four main areas of work that the Senior Officer will be responsible for include:

A key component of the current project will be to support national partners in a subset of countries globally (approximately 6 countries) to advocate for action on climate change and mental health. The final set of countries is yet to be defined but will likely include one country per WHO region and one country from the Small Islands Developing States. The specific responsibilities of this component will include:

Lead in the selection of national partners in each country. This will include supporting the running of a competitive process to select one civil-society organisation based in each country to conduct the work

Strengthen the capacity of national partners to work on climate change and mental health (e.g., via training to national partners to be delivered by the Senior Officer), if required

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes across a number of prisons. To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the Central region including HMP Birmingham, HMP Featherstone, HMP Nottingham and HMP Hewell, as required. Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the Central region, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the region including possible overnight stays.
This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed. OUTLINE OF THE ROLE
Work with the Trustees to devise and lead new fundraising initiatives that fulfil the objectives of the Trust's Fundraising Strategy and annual income budget, with particular focus on regular giving across all alumni, gifts from high-net-worth individuals, and legacies. This will involve:
• Developing and delivering improved communications to build a stronger connected donor network.
• Locating, engaging and retaining alumni to support and promote the Trust, focused on ensuring their long-term impact on the Trust and its beneficiaries.
• Work with the Trustees/Trust Fundraising Committee to devise and implement new fundraising initiatives.
• Work with the Trustees/Trust Fundraising Committee to identify and engage new volunteers to support the Trust's activities.
KEY TASKS
Work with the Trustees and Fundraising Committee to devise and implement the following:
• Improve communications
The Trust has a strong, growing, and engaged network of loyal alumni who already support the Trust's beneficiaries through fundraising and volunteering. However, the Trust's communications need to be improved in order to increase the numbers of donors who provide sustained financial support and inspire all donors to raise their level of donations. Continually find opportunities to engage new donors and ensure clear consistent messaging.
• Manage and maintain donor data
The Trust needs to maintain a full and accurate database of all donors and fundraising activities to support long-term tracking and inform future fundraising. This also requires networking among alumni and being vigilant to changes in alumni data.
• Research and approach alumni whose connection with the Trust has lapsed
Continue to grow the active network through researching and motivating dormant and lapsed alumni to reconnect with the Trust.
• Research untapped prospects
Research the database with a view to identifying dormant and untapped opportunities, especially regarding
high-net-worth individuals and legacies. Ensure fundraising approaches are well-targeted and informed in order to maximise the chances of success. This will expand to include non-alumni sources, including institutional sources such as foundations and other trusts.
• Ensure long-term donor connection
Communicate with all donors to demonstrate the impact they can make by showcasing the current and long-term outcome of programs. Deliver a diverse selection of communications to engage different audiences, with a clear plan for all members of the network. Ensure donors are connected to the Trust, value the Trust's activities and actively help fund opportunities.
• Reporting to the Trustees
Create an annual donor impact report to the Trustees, and other stakeholders such as alumni, that delineates donor statistics, reviews communications and events that have taken place during the past year and identifies potential prospects and events for developing in the coming year. Also provide a lower-level oral report of fundraising activities and communications to the Trustees at their quarterly meetings.
• Deliver income growth target
Acquire enough new donations to meet agreed annual income growth targets set by the Trustees.
You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the charity and its overall objectives. For instance, organizing fund-raising specific events in different regions. This position could evolve into a full-time commitment with a support team, but at the present time, support to this role will be provided through the existing network of volunteers.

As a Christian Union Staff Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting, encouraging, and equipping students in Christian Unions (CUs) to share the gospel in their universities.
In this role, you will:
- Train and support CU leaders in evangelism, helping them to share the gospel effectively
- Work alongside CU members to reach their friends and peers with the good news of Jesus
- Support students in understanding the Bible and applying it to their lives
- Organise and facilitate training events in evangelism, leadership, and discipleship
- Build relationships with local churches, student workers, and other organisations
- Recruit and supervise Relay Workers and Associate Staff Workers
- Promote UCCF’s ministry among students and churches, developing prayer and financial support networks
- Take part in UCCF training and national conferences for personal and professional development
To equip Christian Union Staff Worker's for this strategic ministry, staff follow a training curriculum covering theology, biblical studies, mission, apologetics, church history, and ministry skills. They receive ongoing support from a Team Leader and regional team, meeting regularly for study, prayer, and fellowship.
