We’re seeking a passionate, skilled, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Peer Support Lead. This role focuses on supporting people from a range of culturally diverse backgrounds across West Yorkshire, including but not limited to South Asian communities.
You’ll lead and expand a network of peer volunteers who work within local communities to promote hepatitis awareness, reduce stigma, and improve access to testing, treatment, and care. We have a history of campaigning on key aspects of banks’ climate strategies – such as their emission reduction targets or fossil fuel policies – and we are gradually expanding our work to include other sustainability themes and banking regulation. We have achieved significant wins, such as contributing to HSBC becoming the world’s largest bank to cease financing for new oil and gas fields, Barclays dramatically reducing its oil sands financing, and mobilising investors to call on Societe Generale to set a renewable energy target.
The team is structured around two main pillars: our campaigning and our research pillar. The research pillar ensures that the team’s campaigning and advocacy work is based on sound analysis and facts. The Senior Research Manager oversees the research pillar, currently composed of three more junior researchers. The Senior Research Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a research strategy that underpins campaign needs for analysis and insight in line with campaign timelines and available resources. You will oversee and contribute to the delivery of high-quality research outputs, including thematic reports, investor briefings, and surveys of Europe’s largest banks, and ensure that they are underpinned by clear and robust research methodologies. What will my main duties be?
Programme Management
- To oversee the IntoUniversity Boarding School Bursary Programme including recruitment of potential students and ongoing support of current boarders.
- To prepare the students and their families for Royal SpringBoard and school assessments as well as reparing for boarding school life.
- To plan and/or attend boarding school taster and pastoral visits across the UK.
- To create a calendar of out-of-boarding events and support for students and families to connect to their local centre, including centre visits and community hubs.

An Appeal Support Officer is required to support the activity associated with a
major appeal for the charity. The appeal will raise £1.85m enabling a step change
in our support of Weston Park Cancer Centre.
Reporting to and working closely with our Senior Major Donor & Philanthropy
Manager, Appeal Consultant and Head of Fundraising, you will support the
coordination of appeal activity planning, as we undertake the public phase of the
appeal.
Supporting our established Appeal Board, you will coordinate communications,
prospecting and stewardship management of our major donor growth

Role Purpose
The Policy and Impact Team sits at the heart of Volunteering Matters. Key Duties Responsibilities

About the role
Through Salesforce management you will drive our organisational strategy, for the benefit of colleagues, supporters and people affected by Parkinson’s. You will manage the continuous improvement of all Salesforce platforms, working with stakeholders and Operations teams to identify and help to deliver Salesforce solutions to meet user and business needs. You’ll scan the horizon for new functionality, keeping up with releases and use cases in the nonprofit sector and beyond.

Be accountable for Salesforce technical decisions for the CRM Programme and be prepared to justify those decisions to all levels in the charity.

Refugee resettlement takes place across Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. Over the past 7 years, Upbeat Communities has welcomed and played a key part in the resettlement of Syrian refugees in partnership with local authorities in both counties. This role has included supporting families to apply for universal credit and set up bank accounts, registering with GPs and local schools in addition to integrating into their local community. Since the summer of 2021, we have taken on responsibility for the resettlement of Afghan families in both regions.

About the role
The Motability Foundation is looking for a confident, driven media and PR professional to join the Communications team and lead our media and PR activity.
This a really exciting time to be joining the Foundation as we embark on our new strategy in 2025. With a recently refreshed new brand, our vision is clear, we want to help disabled people make the journeys they choose. This role will play a crucial part in our work to raise awareness of the work of the Motability Foundation and amplify the voices of disabled people across the media.
This role will take a lead on all media and PR activities. With a strong news sense, you will help develop and execute forward-thinking PR plans and strategies for the organisation, manage our external profile and raise awareness of the work we do, aligned to our vision, and manage our press office, including building strong relationships with journalists.

What you will be doing
