We’re looking for a proactive, passionate and detail-oriented Strategic Partnerships Officer to support the growth and delivery of our consultancy work, within the Mental Health Accessible programme. This role is ideal for someone looking to build an impact-driven career in consultancy, project management or partnerships, with hands-on involvement across business development and client relationship management.

Key tasks in the role will include: 

• Project management & delivery: Assist in coordinating client-facing consultancy projects, ensuring clear timelines, responsibilities and smooth cross-functional collaboration.

• Business development: Support new business pipeline growth, help draft pitches, conduct outreach and build relationships with potential and existing clients.

• Copywriting & communications: Draft, edit and proofread consultancy outputs, proposals and social media content to ensure clear and accurate messaging.

• Meeting & record management: Organise internal and client meetings, maintain accurate documentation including agendas, notes and follow-ups.

• Reporting & analysis: Contribute to internal reporting on business development and financial forecasts, tracking metrics and targets.

• Administrative & organisational support: Assist senior leaders and other teams within the charity to deliver our programme of research and consultancy work.

Location: We welcome applicants from across the UK. We are based in east London, with London colleagues working from the office twice a week. This post can be offered to non-London applicants, with twice monthly travel to our London office. The salary is the same for both London-based and non-London based applicants, who are expected to fund their own travel costs to the office. The office is wheelchair accessible, with accessible lifts, toilets and showers.

Hours: This role is offered as a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 30 hours over 4 days a week). The charity has a flexible working policy with core hours of 10am - 3pm and remaining contracted hours distributed throughout the week flexibly.

The Role

What will I be doing?

• Managing a portfolio of public engagement events, including the delivery of the summer exhibition in Dublin each year and public engagement events across NI, Scotland and Wales
• Working with colleagues from across the organisation, particularly those in the Membership and National teams to support member led or member involved approaches to public engagement, with members supported and enabled to deliver appropriate activities that impactfully contribute to the IOP’s strategic goals.
• Support the development of public engagement content that demonstrates the value of physics and its applications to our lives and the full range of career and education pathways that can be accessed through doing physics
• Support the evaluation of Public Engagement Events to ensure the ongoing improvement pf our programme

Please note that this role will require significant travel around the UK and Ireland to deliver its remit. We particularly welcome applications from outside London and the South East of England with this in mind.

• Managing events and activities across the UK and Ireland that connect families with physics
• Developing new, novel and exciting resources that convey the relevance of physics to our daily lives

About the Assistant Accountant role

This role sits within our finance team, who provide financial control and support across all three entities of Coin Street: Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB), Coin Street Centre Trust (CSCT), and Coin Street Secondary Housing Co-Operative (CSS). As our new Assistant Accountant, you will focus on managing the daily banking process, ensuring transactions are accurately uploaded and maintained in the finance system to support smooth financial operations.

As our new Assistant Accountant, you will

• Manage daily banking tasks, including extracting statements and uploading transactions to finance systems and databases.
• Process and reconcile monthly credit card transactions, ensuring compliance with company policy. 
• Maintain financial data accuracy by reviewing VAT codes, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and closing outstanding purchase orders.  
• Prepare intarcompany journal entries.
• Support system improvements, including open banking integration, and assist in staff training to ensure adherence to financial procedures. 

To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following

• AAT Level 4 or part-CIMA qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in posting bank transactions. 
• Complete understanding of accruals and prepayments. 
• Experience using computerised accounting systems and proficiency in the use of MS Excel.

Role Overview

This is a part time (21 hours per week) and fixed term role. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Empower & Exchange Project—an ISEAL-funded initiative to create user-centric data products, and advance future-proofed data infrastructure to improve the sustainability and transparency of the sugarcane supply chain.

This role sits within the Corporate Services team and will lead the project from planning through execution and reporting, collaborating with internal teams, stakeholders, and project partners.

The Empower & Exchange project is an integral part of Bonsucro’s broader digitalisation strategy and is closely aligned with other organisational initiatives. The project has five core objectives to be delivered to an agreed workplan:

1.Engage market actors to identify key ESG reporting metrics.

2.Create data reports tailored to certified sugar mills and the wider supply chain.

3.Develop a secure, user-friendly system for access and export of producer data.

4.Map the evolving technology ecosystem for traceability and ESG reporting.

5.Compile trust criteria for inter-platform data sharing with stakeholder input.

Key Responsibilities

Project Strategy & Management

• Act as the Project Manager for the Empower & Exchange project, overseeing implementation, donor reporting, and team coordination.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation in alignment with funder and organisational expectations.
• Ensure project activities are agile, adaptive, and responsive to changing needs, contexts and feedback.

Product Development & Research

• Coordinate the design and development of data tools and data reports for certified sugar mills, aligned with the project aims, ensuring they meet the needs of users in the sugarcane supply chain.

These include sugar and biofuel producers around the world, multinational corporate brands, learning partners in sustainable marine products, and traceability tech providers.
• Manage communication to ensure alignment, transparency, and participation across the project lifecycle.
• Work with the Bonsucro Communications team to share insights, promote achievements, and elevate visibility of the project.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning

• Lead the preparation of donor reports and documentation of project progress and learning.
• Identify key insights and structure communications to inform Bonsucro’s future work and contribute to the ISEAL community’s collective learning. For example, delivering presentations and written comms.
• Maintain structured project documentation to ensure knowledge retention and transfer.

Lumos is an international children’s charity founded in 2005 by the author J.K. Rowling to end the harmful practice of institutionalisation of children. Despite clear evidence of the harms of institutionalisation, an estimated 5.4 million children worldwide continue to live in institutions. JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Advisor, PPLE is a key role responsible for successfully delivering Lumos’ strategy on safe and meaningful engagement of children, young people, families and caregivers. Considering the cross-cutting nature of participation, the post-holder will work across teams to ensure PPLE is mainstreamed throughout the organisation, strengthening Lumos’ internal capacity and approaches to meaningful participation. They will ensure that Lumos programmes demonstrate innovative and transferrable approaches to participation, and that people with lived experience are meaningfully involved in national, regional and global advocacy and campaigning, as well as within Lumos’ internal governance.  

The Senior Advisor will oversee implementation of Lumos’ newly-developed PPLE Strategy – working in partnership with people with lived experience, PPLE Focal Points in Lumos’s four country offices, and other key colleagues. They will supervise and guide the work of PPLE across country teams and Lumos’s central function to develop and deliver high-quality and effective projects that achieve the objectives of the PPLE strategy.  

The post holder will also work with Global Advocacy, Communications and Fundraising colleagues and country teams to ensure that people with lived experience are well represented in national, regional and global campaigns and initiatives that inform child rights and care reform policy and programming. They will identify and cultivate relationships with relevant stakeholders in the care and related sectors, including with existing national, regional and global networks of care-experienced children and young people, to strengthen partnerships and collaboration around PPLE. The post holder will work hand-in-hand with safeguarding colleagues, acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the PPLE workstream, to ensure Lumos has, and is implementing, appropriate systems to facilitate safe and ethical PPLE that is compliant with data protection protocols. The Senior PPLE Advisor will contribute to fundraising, participating in proposal development, reporting to donors and other related activities. 

KEY OBJECTIVES

• Provide technical leadership on PPLE and oversee the implementation of Lumos’ new PPLE Strategy – working in partnership with people with lived experience, PPLE Focal Points, key staff including in Lumos country offices and external partners including participatory networks and associations. 
• Strengthen Lumos’ internal capacity and approaches to meaningful participation of children, youth, parents and caregivers 
• Ensure that participation of children, young people, parents and caregivers is embedded as a cross-cutting priority throughout the organisation’s projects and programmes 
• Develop an annual strategic plan for PPLE for 2026 and ensure PPLE is included and aligned across the plans, strategies, and projects of other Programmes teams 
• Provide supervision, coordination and capacity-building to the PPLE team, which comprises PPLE Focal Points across Lumos’ four country offices, including setting and implementing objectives, deliverables and KPIs that will motivate the team and achieve ambitious results, and monitor and track progress 
• Ensure coordination and engagement between PPLE Focal Points and organisational leadership 
• Lead on the development of country programme PPLE strategies in line with Lumos’ 2024-7 strategy, alongside PPLE Focal Points and programmes teams.
• Manage the PPLE budget to ensure objectives are met, high quality deliverables are achieved, and budgets are utilised effectively; potential of managing future PPLE grants and programmes depending on priorities 
• Collaborate with the fundraising and Programme teams to develop all project proposals with the Participation of People with Lived Experience embedded throughout, including direct engagement of People with Lived Experience in drafting proposals when appropriate  
• Develop high-quality reports, quarterly, annual, or other for both internal and external audiences, including donors, in collaboration with relevant teams and support positive relationships with stakeholders 
• Represent PPLE at a senior level internally and externally, including in meetings, working groups and committees as needed
• Build and nurture relationships with relevant stakeholders in the care reform and other connected sectors, to secure opportunities for the participation and meaningful involvement of people with lived experience 
• Oversee training and capacity building of people with lived experience so they can participate in care reform implementation initiatives and in decisions that affect their lives 
• Work with advocacy and communications colleagues to ensure that people with lived experience are well represented in regional and global campaigns, events and initiatives that inform child rights and care reform policy and programming. Advocate for and facilitate their inclusion in a meaningful, genuine and non-tokenistic manner 
• Co-ordinate the planning and delivery of external and internal participation events and activities, at national, regional or international level, for example Lumos’ participatory groups, working closely with Advocacy, Communications and other relevant teams.  
• Promote opportunities for young people to be more actively and meaningfully involved in all areas of Lumos’ work, including organisational governance, in line with Lumos’ strategy 2024-27 and the PPLE Strategy. Lead on the coordination of a Lumos Global Youth Advisory Board in close collaboration with the PPLE Focal Points and other relevant teams.
• Lead the development of training and capacity building to teams across Lumos, including ELT, to promote and enable a mainstreamed approach to PPLE 
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the participation function, working closely with safeguarding colleagues and PPLE Focal Points, to ensure Lumos has, and is implementing, appropriate systems to facilitate safe and ethical PPLE that is compliant with relevant organisational policies, including the Safeguarding Policy and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Policy, and with relevant data protection protocols

Purpose

This role leads the coordination of Kids’ online engagement and digital inclusion work for young people with SEND, including information provision, participation, and wellbeing support. You will deliver a two-year Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme, including identifying and engaging digitally excluded young people to help them access vital digital tools and services. The role also drives collaboration across the Digital Services Consortium (a collaboration of 12 children’s charities), embedding shared learning, outcome measurement, and inclusive digital practices across Kids, and will create new capacity to work with young people to scope and deploy online campaigning activity.  

Responsibilities

• To lead and coordinate Kids’ online engagement and inclusion work for young people with SEND. This includes Kids’ online information provision; voice/ participation and wellbeing work.
• To develop and deliver Kids’ two-year digital inclusion programme, Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme* to ensure reach and impact is maximised.
• To work with the Digital Services Consortium Driving Digital Inclusion members on shared digital project outcome measures and community of practice, ensuring learnings and online engagement and digital inclusion principles are captured, shared and built into the organisation.
• To identify and recruit (working closely with colleagues from services across Kids) digitally excluded young people to the digital inclusion programme so they can become digitally included and access much needed support and guidance.
• To establish a holistic and joined up approach to Young People’s online engagement and digital inclusion with Kids.
• To create new capacity to work across all services and teams, and with a range of young people, to scope and deploy online campaigning capabilities in line with Kids’ Speak Up and wider national and local influencing work.

Kids Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme will help young people with SEND (aged 13 – 25 years) build resilience, positive self-regard and meaningful connections.

Our goal is to reduce isolation and protect mental health through a supportive, inclusive digital environment. We’ll begin by consulting directly with young people to understand what they need most. Together, we’ll co-create new online content and resources that truly reflect their voices and experiences. 

 What the Programme Offers: 

• Online information with resources codesigned with young people with SEND. 

• A series of interactive webinars and guided online activities. 

• Free devices and data to improve access to those who need it most, plus the support to ensure everyone can participate.

We will reach over 1,800 young people over the two year funded period.

ROLE DESCRIPTION 

As leaders within Get Further, our Programme Managers play an important part in managing the delivery of our tuition programmes and the growth and development of the organisation. The successful applicant will take over the case load of one of our Programme Managers while she is on secondment to another project. The key outcomes for this role are: 

• Team: Directly line manage a team of 3-6 Programme Coordinators and Salaried Tutors and be accountable for the management of tutors within your colleges, contributing to Get Further as a whole meeting or exceeding our programme delivery KPIs 
• FE partners: Achieve high FE partner satisfaction by delivering a high impact programme and developing strong relationships at multiple levels with our existing and prospective FE partners.  
• Strategy and organisational development: Lead strategic projects and priorities as needed to develop the organisation, programmes and programme delivery. 
• Project: Work closely with the Head of Resits Tuition Programme to support in the medium-term implementation of the EEF RCT.

Tutors 

Our tutors are instrumental to us delivering a high-impact programme. You will be accountable for the overall high performance of the tutors delivering tuition within the FE partners for which you are responsible. To achieve this, we expect you will: 

• Support and hold PCs to account for the frontline management of tutors and lead tutors 
• Resolve or further escalate tutor performance management issues that PCs have escalated as per the Tutor Performance Policy

Strategic Planning:

The Queen’s Reading Room is funded entirely by grants, donations, sponsorship and income from events. We’re looking for a vibrant and well-connected individual to join the small but agile team, to lead this function within the charity and design and set up a fundraising committee. You will build on a strong base of income generation and work to sustain and expand it.

You will be responsible for building the fundraising strategy with the charity’s CEO and Board of Trustees; for identifying appropriate opportunities to generate funding in the UK and internationally; and for the targets agreed by the CEO and board. You will be comfortable with, and have experience in, the world of high profile and high net-worth individuals, legacy fundraising, fundraising and friendraising events. You will know how to build relationships with individual donor prospects along with charitable trusts, foundations and other institutional funders.
