HR Generalist Support

· Provide high quality professional support to managers and staff for all HR related matters.

· Undertake general HR tasks as required and appropriate to the role.

BRAC’s office in Europe provides vital support for BRAC’s development work around the world through fundraising and communications, building impactful, long-term relationships with partners, whether they be foundations, companies, Governments or major donors. BRAC office in Europe also plays a key role in engaging with and influencing policymakers and practitioners to tackle extreme poverty across Europe.

Fundraising Development Manager

Empowerment and Support: Serve as a beacon of empowerment and support for individuals accessing our service, providing personalised non-clinical wellbeing support and safety plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

Compassionate Guidance: Offer compassionate guidance and assistance to those navigating acute emotional distress, offering integrated solutions that prioritise their wellbeing and autonomy.

The Mulberry Centre’s vision is to be known and respected by everyone living or working within reach of our services who may become affected by cancer.All the services at The Mulberry Centre are geared towards supporting the physical and emotional needs of someone following a cancer diagnosis or at end of life, including their carers, families and friends who also might have to stop working to look after them. It can be difficult to know where to start and what you are entitled to, but we are here to help them every step of the way. To assist us in this endeavour, we are looking for an experienced full-time Welfare and Benefits Information Lead.  You will assist clients in claiming welfare benefits, grants, and any financial aid that may be available to them. This includes informing them of any financial help available, supporting them with applications and following up on claim as necessary.  Where anyone has been given an end of life diagnosis you will be required to start the application on their behalf. In addition, you will also conduct financial wellbeing assessments in the community and schedule one-on-one application completion consultations with individuals who request your assistance.

This vital role will suit an enthusiastic and dynamic person who has excellent communication skills, being able to deal with complex matters effectively both verbally and in writing.  You will need to understand the issues involved in interviewing people within a time defined period. The ideal applicant will have emotional resilience to deal with people who have experienced cancer or bereavement. An empathetic and compassionate approach is important.  The Welfare Benefits Information Lead will be at the forefront of our client-based services and need to be self-motivated and have a positive and flexible attitude.

Through the partnership of Macmillan Cancer Support, Self Help UK and the Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System, the Macmillan Beyond Dagnosis service delivers support for people affected by cancer, as well as facilitated access to voluntary and community sector cancer specific support and wellbeing interventions across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Support and interventions will be identified using electronic health needs assessments (eHNA’s) and personalised care and support planning. This will provide a structured and clear ongoing support plan for those living with and beyond cancer which are integrated with primary, secondary and community clinical care pathways.

The aim of the service is to provide an improved experience for patients beyond their interactions with clinical services by contributing to the overall holistic approach to supporting people living with and beyond cancer. This will integrate the ‘beyond medicine’ approaches offered by the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) into existing and developing cancer pathways.

The Macmillan Beyond Diagnosis Service also includes the NUH Cancer Prehabilitation service, where we provide the Beyond Diagnosis model through the Social Prescriber Link Worker role.

This post is an exciting opportunity to work with Nottingham City’s PCN 8 (Clifton and Meadows).. Using the Macmillan Electronic Holistic Needs Assessment to support Cancer Care Reviews will ensure patients have access to the right support for all their non-clinical needs. The post will also work on the preventative agenda, supporting uptake of cancer screening across the PCNs and supporting the practices within the PCNs to deliver their improvement plan around early diagnosis of cancer. (in line with NHS England and NHS Improvement -  QOF Quality Improvement domain 20/21 – Early diagnosis of cancer).

 You will work in partnership with GP surgeries to give non-medical support that maximises patients’ wellbeing through their Cancer journey. The primary role is to do Cancer Care Reviews, with access to each surgery’s IT systems to track patient lists, document, and communicate with practice staff. This role will involve liaising with services from within the NHS structure as well as external services, so you will need to be skilled in navigating intricate processes and organisational structures from both the inside and the outside. You will also help with improving screening uptake and community engagement, building relationships with local services and groups to further enhance the support.

The Services Manager (Housing) will primarily focus on the managing New Horizon's Housing Advice service, delivered both from the day centre and remotely. You will work with the Head of Services to ensure the service responds holistically to young people with multiple needs or barriers.  You should be experienced in the housing and homelessness sector, be a passionate advocate for young people. and have the ability to motivate a team to deliver high quality services in a fast-paced environment. You should be skilled in partnership management and able to collaborate to identify new housing solutions for young people.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE SLT

Based in York, the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) is an Educational Charity which acts as a Professional Body and Learned Society for a growing membership of more than 4,700 scientists, engineers and technologists working in hospitals, universities, and healthcare industries. 

IPEM is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to form an important part of the team supporting our Professional Knowledge and Innovation Manager to lead on IPEM’s scientific initiatives. 

You will have an interest and aptitude for learning and be comfortable working in a demanding environment within a tight-knit team and interacting with professionals of differing and diverse backgrounds. You will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You will also need experience of modern IT systems and remote communication tools and be a flexible and willing collaborator. No prior knowledge of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering or innovation is needed, however you must be committed to developing an overall understanding of the sector and sharing that knowledge with members and colleagues. Above all, you will be an enthusiastic supporter of professional knowledge and innovation with a passion for working with people and helping form IPEM’s scientific contributions to our members and to society.

You will be educated to at least A-Level, and preferably above, or have equivalent experience, with strong written and oral communications skills, strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the flexibility to manage competing priorities.

You will be an important part of a growing professional community and will work with members to understand their current needs and challenges to both equip them with skills they require for future opportunities and challenges and assist the continuing professional development of the workforce.

IPEM promotes flexible working for staff. After 6 months of employment, IPEM will agree, where appropriate and at its discretion, to an employee working either permanently at home, regularly at home or from home on an ad-hoc basis.
