About the role
Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Support Specialist to focus on three key areas; Salesforce Administration, training, and process documentation.
As a Salesforce expert and product champion, the post holder will work closely with our existing Salesforce Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for Salesforce support and training across all staff in all 18 countries. They will triage incoming tickets, provide support, fix problems, make configuration changes, and work closely with our Salesforce Developer and Product Owner to manage change requests.
With significant stakeholder engagement, they will help to develop a staff training programme for all countries and deliver both routine and ad-hoc training for new employees, new processes, feature changes, and upgrades.
Process documentation will need to be created for new, modified, and existing Salesforce/business processes along with details of third-party integrations and submitted change requests.
The role sits within the International Salesforce team, led by the Salesforce Developer and Product Owner. The team’s purpose is to be guardians of the organisations data and processes, supporting the rollout, maintenance, and extension, of our Salesforce platform and services. The Salesforce Developer and Product Owner reports to the International Chief Information Officer (CIO), who is responsible for leading MWB’s digital transformation and ensuring the successful implementation of several new digital, IT, and Salesforce initiatives.
Who we are looking for
You must be an exceptionally competent English speaker and have the right to travel to the UK and work in one of the following countries: UK, Albania, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Switzerland or Ukraine.
You will have proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, educated to relevant degree level (or equivalent, or qualified by experience), be a certified Salesforce Admin, and have experience with NPSP.
A logical thinker, excellent problem solver, and an ability to juggle multiple duties and prioritise incoming requests.
You must be an excellent written and verbal communicator, have strong stakeholder management skills, and be excellent at customer service.
We are seeking an exceptional trainer who can plan and run online (or occasional in-person) training sessions and create detailed process documentation and training materials to accompany them.

You will develop and maintain systems to manage Macmillan's external networks and ensure effective, accessible management of up-to-date documents, resources, tools, and templates for colleagues. You will work the Communities and Participation leadership team to shape and maintain effective team management tools and processes.

Please note: this is a part-time role, working 21 hours across 3 days per week. This will typically involve no more than one evening each quarter and one Saturday each quarter, with each event requiring a few hours of work. About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Main responsibilities of the role include:
Direct Support to Carers:
- Deliver comprehensive carer assessments in line with the Care Act 2014, and co-produce tailored support plans
- Identify and assess eligibility for Carers Personal Budgets and assist with the application process
- Provide accurate and empathetic information, advice, and guidance on carers’ rights, benefits (e.g. PIP, Carer’s Allowance, Attendance Allowance), housing, and local services
- Act as a listening ear and a source of emotional reassurance for carers navigating challenges and crises
- Liaise with Local Authorities, NHS providers, and voluntary agencies to advocate for carers and coordinate support
- Make appropriate referrals and ensure follow-ups are completed

The Specialist Housing Advocate will work within a dynamic, fast paced team to provide intervention, advocacy and support that empowers women and ensures that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. To be successful as Specialist Housing IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

About the Role

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Events Fundraising
- Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising events, including challenge events and community initiatives.

Community Fundraising

- Serve as the primary point of contact for community and events fundraisers, delivering outstanding stewardship that enhances their experience with the charity.

- Manage our CRM database.
- Maintain accurate records to track communications, income, and supporter preferences, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.

Administrative and Financial Support
- Process cash and cheque donations, Gift Aid and matched funding claims, ensuring this income is processed and recorded accurately on our database.
- Adhering to fundraising budgets, tracking income, and ensuring effective expenditure management.
- Manage the distribution of supporter resources, conduct stock checks for fundraising materials and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising assets.
- Overseeing our online shop.
Marketing and Communication
- Create engaging materials (posters, leaflets, stories etc) and social media content to inspire participation in fundraising activities.
- Produce regular newsletters and impact reports.
- Ensure fundraising and associated webpages are kept up to date.
- Collate information for the Head of Fundraising to support trust and foundation applications.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the wider team (when required) to support in-hospital and community events as well as assisting with tasks as needed to ensure smooth charity operations.
- Support team members with ad hoc projects, activities, and any high-priority tasks to contribute to overall team objectives.
- Any other duties as required by the Head of Fundraising.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Salary is £27000 - £29,000 (depending on experience) FTE per annum. The role covers 30 hours per week. A minimum of one day per week working in our charity office and the remaining hours working remotely which may be spread across 3-4 days depending on preference and will be discussed at the interview stage. Occasional evening and weekend work subject to our events calendar.
One-year fixed term contract however there is potential to increase working hours and / or extend contract length after 12 months subject to performance.
A full driving licence or the ability to travel to events and meetings within London and the South East is essential.

You will work across the north of England, mirroring the regions covered by the Sub-national Transport Body ‘Transport for the North’. You must live in this region to apply and undertake this position.
You will collaborate with Transport for All members, disabled people’s organisations, and civil society organisations, bringing disabled people together to share our views on accessible transport and make change. Key responsibilities
1. Planning and development (10% of time)
· Plan regular activity across your region, considering staffing, budget, and wider organisational requirements
· Help to develop and deliver Transport for All’s membership offering, community building and local campaign support
