The role

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and proactive Corporate and Community Fundraiser to help to grow vital income streams and support our mission to improve the lives of unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our small, dedicated team building meaningful relationships with individuals, community groups, and local businesses to raise funds and awareness for our life changing work. You will develop and deliver community and corporate fundraising initiatives that inspire people to support our charity, ensuring we can continue to be there for the thousands of unpaid carers who rely on us every year.

Key responsibilities

Fundraising & Income Generation

· Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and activities for community groups, individuals, and businesses to support our shared mission

· Build strong, sustainable relationships with local supporters, volunteers, and corporate partners to grow income and awareness

· Lead on stewarding existing supporters and proactively seeking out new ones through networking and outreach

· Create and manage a calendar of fundraising events and opportunities that engage and inspire participation from all parts of our community

· Promote and support third-party fundraising events, providing advice, materials, and encouragement to maximise their success

Community Engagement

· Be a warm and visible ambassador for The Carers Centre, representing our values at local events, community spaces with empathy and enthusiasm.

· Support the development of volunteer fundraising networks and champions

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure carers’ voices are at the heart of messaging and initiatives

Corporate Partnerships

Research, approach, build  and sustain meaningful relationships with local businesses and corporate supporters , fostering shared value of community support, compassion, and social responsibility. to secure donations, sponsorships, employee fundraising, and volunteering opportunities

· Prepare compelling partnership proposals, impact reports, and presentations tailored to potential and existing partners

Communications & Administration

· Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to promote fundraising campaigns through digital, print, and social media channels

· Maintain accurate supporter records and track income and engagement using our CRM system

· Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR, fundraising regulations, and reflects The Carers’ Centre’s values

General

Ensure that you;

About this key role

Our successful candidate will be responsible for a range of essential duties, including receiving, reviewing, and securely storing incoming RLSE applications and maintaining accurate and timely records of applications, awards and outcomes. You will also be expected to prepare and present application packs for the decision-making panel, which meets monthly for internal and bi-monthly for external applications, coordinate panel schedules, agendas, and communications, plus process and action panel decisions, ensuring outcome letters are distributed and payments are issued appropriately.

We will also count on you to provide consistent feedback to referring agencies and applicants on application outcomes and to explore and assess innovative grant proposals such as collective prison-based projects through site visits and liaison with prison governors. Promoting the RLSE Fund externally to enhance its visibility and build new partnerships and developing relationships with referring agencies are also important aspects of this role.

About Woman's Trust

The charity, established almost thirty years ago to meet the gap in specialist mental health services, is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. Our approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, empowering survivors on their journey to recovery from trauma. We supported 833 women and children last year, with a current income target of £1.25m (growing to £1.4m in 2026-2027) and 36 staff. We are committed to a positive, inclusive and equitable environment for our staff, service users and volunteers.

You will be joining the Woman’s Trust Fundraising team as we work towards our strategy 2022-2027, to double our income and the number of women we support each year. Alongside delivering our existing 1-1 counselling, self-development workshops and therapeutic support groups for women who have experienced domestic abuse, we are focused on developing our innovative mental health services for young women and girls, delivering new peer-led support groups and providing therapeutic groups to children and their mothers. We are also committed to developing further awareness-raising workshops and training for professionals, building on our research and policy to improve systems nationally.

As a skilled and compassionate counselling manager, aligned with our feminist ethos and the needs of our service users, you will bring experience in leading counselling services, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support for women affected by domestic abuse. You will have experience in managing counsellors and/or volunteers, providing clinical supervision, and ensuring best practice across service delivery. You will be able to oversee the full cycle of service management, including monitoring outcomes, safeguarding, and compliance, while also contributing to service development and innovation in line with our strategic priorities.

Purpose

The Case Manager will strive to make contact and work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators whose victims have been identified as high risk at MARAC to pro- actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. To do this, the Case Manager will work with existing agencies in each pilot site to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. Throughout the intervention the Case Manager will work closely with the IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.

The Case Manager will be responsible over the long term for delivering outcomes, to achieve behaviour change with each service user.

Responsibilities
Interagency work

• Work to embed the Case Manager role into multi-agency responses to domestic abuse in the area.
• Effective understanding and implementation of institutional advocacy by pro- socially challenging partner agencies, acknowledging best practice and striving for change to benefit the individual, the service and the sector.
• Support other professionals in responding to service users in a way that is coterminous with the aims and ethos of the Drive Project.
• Working closely with other professionals to ensure that risk management and safeguarding duties are effectively met.
• Develop and maintain effective partnership working with statutory, private and voluntary agencies to address the issue of domestic abuse.
• Represent the service at operational multi-agency meetings, feeding back initiatives and outcomes to the team and contributing to the evaluation of the quality of activities these services offer.
• Provide a single point of proactive and regular contact for a range of professionals involved in the case of the service user.
• Be flexible and willing to work in all types of environments.

Case management

• Comply with child protection and information sharing policies, ensuring that service users and colleagues understand and comply with the service’s safeguarding framework.
• Manage a case load focusing on high risk perpetrators of domestic abuse to provide an assertive, medium to long term service, based on thorough assessment and individual support planning that adopts the principles of both ‘Support (change) or/and Disrupt (continued offending) concept.
• Contribute to regular service reviews which include monitoring data, evaluations, intake and output policy, and practice and workload reviews for the whole service.
• Attend monthly case management meeting with the Service Manager.
• Attend clinical supervision.
• Take appropriate steps to protect where there is an imminent risk to another person.

Recording and administration

• Ensure that case files and records are accurate and complete; and are kept and in compliance with Data Protection Act requirements.
• To enter all the required information into the Drive project electronic case management system to enable tracking of service user change, multi-agency working and risk management.
• Weekly maintenance and accurate and secure audit trail of all relevant communication.
• Comply with the data protection and information sharing protocols that Drive has agreed to.

Direct work with service users

• Maintain a proactive response to service users, continuously providing positive options for behaviour change throughout the service users time in the Drive project.
• Use combination of motivational work, relationship building and a broad range of therapeutic skills to engage service users to address their abusive behaviour.
• Motivate and support service users to address the broad range of needs that may contribute to the risk that they pose to others or act as barrier for them in addressing that risk. e.g. housing, substance use etc.
• To ensure that service users understand that the community and Drive project will ensure that they are accountable for continued use of abuse and abusive behaviour towards others.
• Ensure that there is a consistent delivery of services to the identified perpetrators of domestic abuse, including comprehensive risk assessment, support planning, referrals to other agencies and MARACs.
• Develop strategies that will disrupt the continued risk posed by service users
• Undertake assessment of risk, needs and attitudes to inform the individual service user’s intervention plan.
• Ensure that risk assessment and risk management procedures are followed at all times.
• Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the service works in, providing a service that recognises the diverse needs of service users and their families.
• Work closely with the IDVAs’ supporting the partners, ex-partners and new partners, and family members of service users in management risk and developing intervention plans, as set out in the Drive Manual.

The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was founded in 2009 after Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend were attacked because of their alternative appearance. Sophie later died from her injuries. The Foundation was created by Sophie’s mother Sylvia to address prejudice against alternative subcultures and to promote understanding and tolerance through education, advocacy and policy work.

Although a small organisation, we have big impact and reach. We advocate for the alternative community through policy and campaigning work and provide support following hate crime. And we also run workshops aimed at reducing discrimination and challenging stereotypes. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Fundraiser to help secure the charity’s financial stability and support its growth.

The role involves creating a fundraising function from the bottom up and then developing and implementing a fundraising strategy. Diverse income streams to be targeted include corporate partnerships, individual donors, grants and foundations, events and digital campaigns. You’ll work closely with the team, CEO and Trustees to ensure fundraising activities align with our clear objectives.

Responsible for creating and delivering a fundraising plan that meets income targets, you’ll identify funding opportunities that align with our mission. This includes researching grants, preparing applications, managing funder relationships and reporting. Building donor engagement through regular giving, legacy programmes and other initiatives will also be part of the role.

Maintaining accurate, GDPR-compliant records of fundraising activities and donor data is essential. You’ll also prepare reports for internal use and external stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone with proven fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector who has a track record of securing income from grants, donors, events or corporate partnerships. Strong written communication skills and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines are important. About the Youth Endowment Fund

We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice. 

Last year, 244 people in England and Wales tragically died after being assaulted with a knife. Of these, 32 were children. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them. Even when violence doesn’t strike directly, we know that the fear of violence has a terrible effect on children’s lives.

The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build an exceptional body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed. We then need to work with the right people that can make change happen, across systems, policies and practice, to have a real impact on reducing violence affecting children’s lives.

Key Responsibilities 

We build demand and interest in evidence across the Children’s Services sector 

This will include: 

• Running events, speaking at conferences and curating webinars to bring evidence to life for practitioners 
• We have great relationships with the people who can make change happen.  

This will include:

• Developing great relationships with senior policy makers, sector leaders and experts, including representing YEF in external meetings and speaking at events.
• Managing a Strategic Advisory Board of leading experts across the children’s services sector and keep members onside and excited about our work.

We deliver our children’s services system recommendations. 

This will include:

• Helping to identify the right recommendations at a system level (such as changes in policy, regulation, inspection, funding, or guidance) that make it more likely highly vulnerable children get access to the right support at the right time. 
• Work out the best way to make our system recommendations happen (due for publication in December 2026) and then do it – persuading the key people to make changes that make a difference.
• Tracking progress carefully, being thoughtful and creative about when and how to change the plan.

We work out the most effective ways to connect people with the evidence, then make those things happen. 

This will include:

• Helping children’s services leaders change how they plan or provide services to better protect children from violence, based on the YEF Children’s Services Practice Guidance – due for publication in May 2026. 
• Creating a plan to get people to follow our guidance, using what we know about how they think and behave. 
• Creating practical tools and resources that help leaders put evidence into action 
• Continuously testing and improving our approach to get better results.

Main Purpose of Job

The Youth Engagement Worker’s role is to create positive, safe, educational, and memorable experiences for young people on our programmes. Youth Engagement Workers will lead a variety of youth programmes, sessions, assemblies, and community-based projects in both local schools and the wider community. They will provide pastoral care, and deliver inclusive curriculum sessions, and skill development activities to groups and individuals. The role is suitable for a dynamic and confident person who has experience in leading, motivating, and supporting young people to successfully participate in positive programmes and activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and motivate young people through positive, creative and developmental sessions and activities.
• Supervise and take responsibility for pastoral care and safety needs of the young people.
• Deliver centre-based, community, school, and outdoor/adventurous activities and sessions.
• Consider youth voice and involve young people in the planning and delivery of activities on offer, and ensure they are innovative and effective.

The Selection Criteria

Essential

Qualifications and experience

1. At least one year’s experience of delivering positive activities with young people (either in a voluntary or paid capacity).

2. Youth Work level 2 or alternative equivalent experience

3. Experience of inspiring and motivating young people from a variety of cultural, economic and social backgrounds.

4. Experience of planning, leading and facilitating both large and small group sessions, and 1 to 1 activity.

5. A Safeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to complete training.

Skills, Knowledge, and ability

1. An awareness of current socio-economic issues and trends which may affect young people and youth employment in the locations we work in.

2. Ability to build relationships and work alongside stakeholders including schools, charities, employers, local council etc.

Join our team and help us improve public sector food across the UK with our School Plates and new Hospital Plates programmes. We're looking for a passionate and driven Chef Trainer to support schools and hospitals in delivering healthier and more sustainable menus.

The programmes continue to go from strength to strength. Through School Plates, we currently support over a third of all UK local authorities, catering for more than 12,000 schools and feeding over 1.25 million children daily. To date, we have been responsible for swapping over 50 million school meals from meat-based to meat-free or plant-based. We're now expanding our successful model into the health sector with our new Hospital Plates programme, bringing the same positive change to patient and staff menus.

Are you a skilled chef trainer with a passion for improving public food? Can you match our ambition? You'll be using your culinary expertise to train catering teams in both schools and hospitals, provide menu advice, and get involved with recipe development and culinary education. Responsibilities

As our Chef Trainer & Programme Support, you'll be a key player in developing and delivering our School Plates and Hospital Plates programmes. You'll use your culinary expertise and passion for food system change to create resources, train professionals, and engage with our partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Recipe Development & Training: You'll co-lead the creation, testing, and development of new plant-based recipes for our school and hospital programmes, and lead on developing ‘grab-and-go’ and internationally inspired options for secondary schools. You'll also plan and deliver training sessions, including in-person and online workshops, and create e-learning courses for caterers.

• Programme Development & Support: Work closely with programme managers to develop and refine the strategy for our initiatives. This includes supporting pilot programmes, measuring their impact, and creating bespoke catering resources for our partners.

• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Represent our organisation at events and in meetings, providing expert catering advice and information on our programmes. Collaborate with our communications manager to create engaging content, including recipes and videos for our website, e-learning platform and social media.

• Education & Outreach: Partner with our education manager to plan and co-deliver secondary school cooking workshops. These sessions will teach pupils basic plant-based culinary skills that align with the National Curriculum as well as inspire the next generation to choose plant-forward options and learn about the impact of their food choices in a positive way.

• Inspire Catering Teams: Your role is to build and maintain relationships with catering partners, providing expert catering advice and practical recipe suggestions. You'll work with them directly on pilot programmes, offering bespoke support to inspire positive menu changes. You'll also provide essential administrative support for our programmes and help create and deliver presentations to promote our work to a wider audience.

Qualifications

    Essential

• Experienced in planning and delivering cooking workshops to groups.

• Experience of working in a culinary setting and developing recipes with a strong interest in plant-based recipes.

• Excellent communication skills and be a confident and engaging educator.

• Flexible and agile approach, with a willingness to be a true team player and fill gaps as needed.

• Proactive with initiative and drive.

• Strong organisational skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Solution-focused and resilient.

• Confident in creating basic spreadsheets and slide decks.

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced and small but fast-growing non-profit work environment.

• Ability to work well unsupervised with experience of working in remote teams with a reliable internet connection.

• Based in the UK and able to attend meetings, events, and training to represent the team and programme across the UK.

• Experience of working within school and/or hospital food.

• Experience of liaising with local authorities, schools, or other public sector bodies.

• Experience in the field of nutrition, including an interest in plant-based nutrition.

• Experience of working in the food, health or environmental sector.

• Experience of using customer relationship management (CRM) systems (training will be provided).

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive and driven Fundraising Manager to join our team at Brain Tumour Support. You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we seek to grow our supporter base both locally and nationally.

You will assume responsibility for the delivery of the fundraising strategy to achieve ambitious unrestricted income targets through Corporate Partnerships, Community Fundraising and Individual Giving. Motivating and line managing a small, but growing fundraising team, you will ensure activity levels are on track to achieve both income and awareness targets for the charity.

Ideal candidates must come from a charity fundraising background, with the drive to inspire a team, grow income, build relationships and initiate opportunities for development of the fundraising function. This role will suit a dynamic and positive individual, with a proven track record and extensive experience of meeting demanding income targets within various income streams, one of which should be Corporate, community or individual fundraising. Experience of developing and leading a team to success is desirable for this role.

This in an exciting and varied role, that you will be able to really put your stamp on, working with a really engaged charity team and reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Operations.
