Job Summary: The Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and engagement of new volunteers across Wales, ensuring they have a positive experience with us throughout their volunteering journey.

Specific Duties and Key Responsibilities
Attraction of Volunteers
- Post opportunities and develop relationships with national volunteering partners, including but not limited to, Volunteering Wales, WCVA and Careers Wales.
- Develop and maintain a stakeholder map of volunteer involving organisations across Wales, working with localities on managing and maintaining these relationships.
- Ensure local areas have the required resources to attract volunteers locally. Working with the Head of Marketing to facilitate this.
Recruitment and Induction
- Manage the volunteer recruitment mailbox
- Act as a first point of contact for all volunteer enquiries
- Work with colleagues to conduct volunteer interviews over the phone /on teams
- Process DBS checks and references as required
- Work with the Safer Recruitment Lead (National Volunteer Manager) to ensure volunteers are approved as active.
- Work within the volunteering team to streamline recruitment processes, providing a quick enjoyable experience for new volunteers
- Work with local managers to support effective matching of new volunteers
- Ensure all volunteer communications follows brand guidelines
Training and Engagement
- Book volunteers on mandatory training, including sending reminders to increase engagement and retention on sessions
- Support the National Volunteering Manager to engage with volunteers nationally, facilitating consistent communication and recognition of volunteers.
Compliance of volunteers:
- Follow policies and procedures to ensure the recruitment process is fully compliant
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Process all new volunteer data using a central database
- Run reports as and when required.
Other
- Work to objectives as set by your line manager
- Support the volunteer team as required with additional administrative support in the processing and management of volunteers.
- Work collaboratively within the volunteer team and wider organisation.
Safeguarding
- Understand the Home-Start Cymru safeguarding policy, processes, and practices.

Main Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a structured programme of enjoyable, recreational, high-quality activities to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities who attend Short Breaks clubs
Lead and line manage a team of workers and volunteers, and to assist in the recruitment and training of the Disability sessional team
To coordinate and take responsibility for the planning, allocation of places, and staffing to ensure safe delivery of Short Breaks clubs

In this varied and rewarding role you will engage, motivate and support young carers and in doing so you will make a real difference to young carers within Surrey.
You will be based at our offices in Burpham, Guildford for approximately one day a fortnight, with access to hotdesking at any time. To support dads to have positive relationships with their families
We are looking for a Dad Matters Support Coordinator to join our team to deliver 121 support to dads in the perinatal period. The successful candidate will play a key part in better supporting dads/partners in the early days of parenthood across Gloucestershire.
The successful applicant will either be a dad themselves or someone who has equivalent knowledge and experience in working in this type of setting.

Main Responsibilities
1-2-1 Support to Dads
The post holder will provide individual face to face and telephone support to dads during the perinatal period (from pregnancy to age 2 years of age). This will involve the following:
- Managing a caseload of dads who have been referred to the service by professionals
- Drawing on your own experience of parenting to encourage dad’s strengths and emotional well-being for the ultimate benefit of their own children
- Signposting and supporting access to other services as appropriate
- Educating dads on the importance of bonding and attachment
- Providing a listening space for dads
- Promoting the importance of good mental health
- Reassuring and validating dad’s experiences
- Maintaining good relationships with referrers
- Undertaking designated responsibilities to safeguard and promote children’s welfare
Outreach Support
The post holder will attend Gloucestershire Royal Hospital every week to support dads who are visiting the hospital for antenatal visits and maternity visits. This will involve the following:
- Setting up the Dad Matters pop up information point on the ward
- Liaising with hospital staff and maintaining excellent relationships
- Supporting dads as needed who are visiting the hospital on a 1-2-1 bases
- Signposting dads as appropriate
In addition the post holder will be required to facilitate one Stay and Play session each month. This will involve:
- Keeping essential records of attendees of groups
- Giving dads a safe space to interact and socialise with other dads
- Encouraging dads to widen their network of relationships and to use effectively the support and services available in the community.

- Supporting the evaluation of the impact of Dad Matters by adhering to monitoring systems and keeping accurate records

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Regional Casework Coordinator to join the Northwest Region at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
You will be part of the regional office team who are the first point of contact to all beneficiaries into the Regional Office. You will be assisting with sometimes complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlining needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary, either by beginning a casework referral, referring to another service within SSAFA or making an external referral to organisations better able to offer support. You will also have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. At all times you will adhere to the safeguarding, confidentiality, and data-protection policies, including escalation to emergency services for clients where there are immediate areas of concern.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA and will influence the processes and procedures within the office, working closely with the Regional Casework Manager and Regional Operations Manager.
The post is home-based, but you may have to travel occasionally around the Northwest Region of England.
About the team
In this new role you will be working closely with volunteers from the six SSAFA branches in the Northwest, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger support team which will include a Casework Manager and a Regional Operational Manager.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR, along with experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families, along with supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the North West.

We are seeking a manager, with a range of skills, able to lead the team, oversee the operations of the charity, provide support to the Trustee board, and ensure the future financial strength of the charity. We are seeking a manager who can provide strategic leadership and vision, has strong communication skills, has knowledge of charity finance and skills in bid writing and income generation, and who is passionate about the early years and the work of Home-Start.
Home-Start Staffordshire Moorlands has operated successfully in the Moorlands district for 25 years. We have a strong track record in the delivery of both home visiting support through our skilled Coordinators and Volunteer team and in Group provision for the early years.

The Executive Management Administration team of 5, headed by the MD, run the organisation on a day-to-day basis. The team is supported by the REB board and committees, together with 3rd party providers for accounting, payroll, banking, media & public relations, website hosting and IT services.
Role and Responsibilities
New Position: Due to the increase in REB memberships and activities, a new full-time events role is being created to support the executive team.
Key Tasks – support the MD in creating and delivering a member engagement and events programme
1. Conception and collaboration of member events, through to completion
2. Promoting events to members, working alongside REB’s external PR/Communications agency
3. Managing event registrations and guest lists
4. Responsible for line managing the events administrator
5. Responsible for REB events planning, logistics, analysis (report & presentation) and follow-up actions
6. Attending meetings with members re event planning and development
7. Reporting quarterly to the board and attending board meetings with the Executive team
Detailed Responsibilities
1. Develop, manage and deliver REB’s event programme (working with MD and ED&I coordinator):
o upload event listings to website;
o prepare invitations;
o liaise with host venues;
o oversee registrations & comms;
o obtain event feedback
2. Monitor and evaluate events including reviewing feedback and attendance
3. Coordinate the CEO Breakfasts series
4. Maintain the Events page on the REB website
5. Maintain a database of venues
6. Identify, approach and secure appropriate speakers and participants for events
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
1. Events management and logistics
2. Knowledge (preferably working knowledge) of Microsoft Dynamics and Marketing
3. Knowledge (preferably working knowledge) of current best practices and trends in ED&I, including familiarity with key concepts (e.g. allyship, unconscious bias, intersectionality, etc.)
