We are looking for someone with a compassionate outlook who enjoys working with young people (students between 18 and 30), can maintain a positive mindset in unpredictable situations and handle responsibility. ·Bedrooms & Bathrooms – repairs to fittings, unblocking drains, replacing sealant etc.

Purpose

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual ensuring that all of Ella’s premises,  including the office, community hub, and safe houses,  are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and a welcoming environment for staff and service users. This role combines practical facilities work with proactive oversight of supplier management and property maintenance systems.

You will play a key role in maintaining the smooth daily running of our operations, managing contractors and compliance records, and supporting Ella's growth and improvement in facilities management.

Facilities management

• Oversee the maintenance and smooth operation of Ella’s office, community hub, and supported accommodation.

• Manage supplier and contractor relationships, including procurement, tendering, and ongoing performance monitoring.

• Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments across all properties, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.

• Maintain clear records of repairs, inspections, and contracts in the central facilities log.

• Ensure the office and community hub are fully equipped, stocked, and operational, maintaining an organised and professional environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Mass Fundraising, you will lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of our Gifts in Wills and In Memory programmes. You’ll shape strategies that drive sustainable income growth, ensure operational excellence, and deliver exceptional stewardship for supporters, families and executors.

You will oversee all aspects of legacy marketing, legacy administration and in-memory giving, ensuring compliance, accuracy and sensitivity in this specialist area. You will also provide clear reporting and forecasting to track performance and identify future income opportunities. Working collaboratively across the charity, you’ll embed best practice, enhance supporter journeys and maximise long-term income opportunities.

As a senior leader, you will guide and develop a skilled team of five, championing a culture of collaboration, learning and data-led decision-making.

The role

The Project Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our Council funded Adult Bereavement Service in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. About the Role
 
As Specialist Applications Casework Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the evaluation of specialist surgical applications for the GMC register. Working closely with subject matter experts and the Head of Specialist Applications, you’ll manage a fast-paced caseload, ensure deadlines are met, and help maintain the highest standards in specialist registration. You’ll also assist with appeals, produce clear guidance, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Manage specialist applications, supporting evaluators and the assessment process
• Circulate applications, minute meetings, draft correspondence, and organise virtual evaluation meetings
• Provide guidance on regulations and legislation for specialist registration
• Draft and update guidance and training materials for assessment panels and applicants
• Track application progress and ensure contractual deadlines are met
• Maintain accurate records and databases
• Support and deputise for the Head of Specialist Applications, including appeals preparation
• Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders, sometimes deputising as needed
• Contribute to process reviews and regular reporting

Purpose of the job 

 In UK Youth’s Impact department, we find, create and use evidence to respond to the needs and preferences of young people and the professionals who support them. We conduct research and evaluations to prove and improve the impact of youth work, and we co-design high-quality programmes and support offers that can be scaled. This new role will work across these areas, supporting research and evaluation projects with real implications for policy and practice. 

 Reporting to the Evaluation & Learning Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a portfolio of research and evaluation projects. This will involve conducting research in-house and coordinating with external partners and the organisations we fund to build and share high-quality evidence.
